Unfortunately I cannot say whether or not Mug-A-Bug provides quality pest control as they did not show up for our agreed upon first appointment nor did I receive a message that they were not coming. When I texted the tech to find out what was going on, I was told he was rerouted to a termite job and that the office should be calling me to reschedule. I did not hear from the office that my very first appointment was cancelled nor to ask if I'd like to reschedule. We were interested in signing up for their quarterly plan, however it is apparent that customer service is an issue. As a result we'll be taking our business elsewhere where the clients time is better respected.

I originally had some concerns about my experience, but I wanted to update my review because Mug-A-Bug went above and beyond to make things right. Their staff has always been incredibly kind, and after reaching out, they took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue with professionalism and genuine care. It's refreshing to work with a company that stands behind its service and is willing to make things right when something doesn't go as planned. Customer service like that is hard to find these days, and I truly appreciate the kindness, communication, and effort they put into ensuring I was satisfied. While our rodent baiting service is designed to eliminate mice, it is unfortunately impossible to predict where a rodent may go after consuming bait. Mice often leave the bait station and can die in inaccessible areas or outdoors, which is beyond our control. We understand how unpleasant it is to discover a deceased rodent, and we certainly sympathize with your frustration.<br><br>Regarding warranty service, we strive to respond as quickly as possible to all customer requests. During certain times of the year, particularly during peak pest season, our schedule can become extremely full. While we make every effort to accommodate warranty calls as soon as possible, there are occasions when availability is limited. That said, we never want our customers to feel ignored, and we apologize if that was your experience.<br><br>As for the wasp activity, we understand how concerning that can be. Depending on the species, new wasps from neighboring colonies can continue to forage around your property even after an active nest has been eliminated. If nests remain active or new nests develop, we are always happy to inspect the property and recommend the most effective treatment options.<br><br>We are especially grateful for your comments about our staff and for supporting a locally owned small business. We switched from Omni to these guys and couldnt be happier! They are so friendly and helpful. Jeremy is an awesome guy and I dont dread his visits like I have with other pest guys. We have not seen any activity in our house and they have helped tremendously with our wasp problem! We are new homeowners and they did a termite inspection for us last year before we signed up for their quartlery treatments because we were paranoid and dont know what to look for and they were so friendly and didnt make me feel stupid. They were also very thorough. Im so glad we switched to Mug-A-Bug!

Used to be good, when Dad retired and Daughter took over, the professionalism went out the window. Services were incompetent and shady, and dealing with upselling became a monthly hassle. After a decade of loyalty, my money and I have permanently found another company to patronize and there is absolutely NO way we would ever go back. Don't waste your money.

We're sorry to hear that your experience from several years ago (Oct 2023 was the last time we were at your home) did not meet your expectations. We always strive to make sure that customer service and satisfaction is our top priority. However, there are certain circumstances that require 100% cooperation from our customers as well, especially when you were requesting our company to come out monthly when you were on a quarterly service schedule, and when we asked you to adjust the service frequency temporarily to meet the current pest pressure you were having, you did not want to do so. Our owner (James) is still 100% involved in the company and has NOT retired as you mentioned. We are disheartened to hear just how truly unsatisfied you were with our company and services, given that you were a customer for over ten (10) years. If you should ever have any questions about past services or would like to discuss anything further, we would be more than happy to do so. If you should have any issues with your new pest control company in the future, we would welcome the opportunity to bring you back on as a customer and remind you of why you were with our company for over ten (10) years.
