Nicole, Sean, and Thomas were all phenomenal! Highly recommend Bee Catchers Inc!! We had an ongoing issue with the neighbor behind our house. There was a large beehive on the back of her garage that faced our backyard. We asked her over a year ago to have it humanely removed, as all the bees were in our yard - some even flew into our house from time to time! I even provided a list of professional services but she never followed through. The weather finally cooled and the bees went dormant ... until May of this year. Then, they came back with a vengeance. (Sadly, we later found out that our neighbor had them sprayed which is why they went dormant for a few months. But they still came back because of the huge hive that was in the roof of her garage.) When things got to be too much, we offered to split the cost of the bee removal service that is on HER property. That's when she finally agreed. I immediately reached out to Bee Catchers. Nicole responded to my email right away and got things rolling. They're located in the Valley, and we live in Lakewood, but she said they were going to be in our area in the next few days. So, we quickly got things arranged. Her husband, Sean, and their awesome teammate Thomas arrived right on time and got to work right away. They were so kind, professional, gentle with the bees, considerate of my neighbor's property, and worked quickly. My roommate came home during the middle of the process and said all the same things about them, after stepping out into our yard to greet them. Nicole said Sean and Thomas removed 70 lbs of honeycomb and that there were about 40,000-50,000 bees in the hive. Sean said to give it 3 or 4 days to allow for the stragglers to leave, and they did. I asked Sean what they do with the bees. He said they take the hive back to their house then reach out to their community of fellow beekeepers to see if anyone wants them, then gives them away. I love that! The best part, though, was how Nicole handled our looney neighbor. We knew just what she was talking about because we've experienced the same thing with her through this whole experience. I felt bad to have introduced Nicole to the situation, but was so grateful for her help. They were all fantastic! And to top things off, they repaired my neighbor's garage roof rather than *just* remove the hive. That was included in the cost of the service. AND they offer a 5 year warranty!! My crazy neighbor came out on top, and at least we no longer have to dodge bees in our yard.

When I found a buzzing swarm of bees moving into my roof like they were house-hunting on Zillow, I knew I needed help—fast. I didn’t want to harm them (I love honey too much to mess with karma), so I called Bee Catchers. Within no time, the team showed up like the bee-saving superheroes they are—suited up, professional, and genuinely passionate about saving pollinators. They safely and calmly removed the bees, relocated them to a happy new hive, and left me with zero stings and a whole lot of respect. They are just really cool people. If you’ve got a bee problem, don’t panic—just call Bee Catchers. They’ll make the bees buzz off—nicely.

Do not use this company. They didn't show up for scheduled appoints - TWICE and kept making excuses. It was a blessing in disguise now that I am reading all the negative reviews. Very unprofessional

This company is the worst! First let me confirm this review: 1) I am a real paying customer (not a "bot.") 2) I have only left negative reviews a couple of times in my life. 3) After reading the other negative reviews for this company, I believe each and every one of them. At first everything seemed fine. I spoke with Nicole on the morning of 3/18/25 and she promised to call me back in an hour or so and confirm that someone would come out to my home that day or the next day (she never called back). However she did text me late that afternoon and said someone would be there by 10 - 10:30 the next day. Sean did show up the next day (at around 11:30) and he started the job (PS - Sean was very nice). I had a bee hive in the base of my olive tree. He explained that when he was finished, he would seal the opening. He explained that the bees might return if there is another opening that he couldn't initially see. He said to simply call them if I noticed this and he would come back out and seal the additional opening. So after a couple of days, I did see that the bees were entering through another opening. So I called: 3/24/25 left message, no call back - 3/29/25 left message, no call back - 4/1/25 Nicole answered the phone. She said she was waiting for a time her tech would be in my area. She promised to call me back by the end of the day to confirm...no call back - 4/4/25 left message, no call back - 4/7/25 left message, no call back. I had also sent her follow up text messages on 3/25/25 and 4/4/25, no response. Today I saw that Bee Catchers had charged my credit card AGAIN! The job had been paid in full and charged to my credit card on 3/28/25. Now on 4/11/25, I was charged a second time for this same job (which was never completed). I have filed a dispute with my credit card for the 2nd charge. Again the total amount had already been paid in full. As others have mentioned, the two times I actually spoke with Nicole, she seemed stressed and bothered by the call (borderline rude). She made promises that were literally never kept. Bee Catchers offers a "guarantee" of their work, but it is useless if they refuse to communicate and respond. I suspect she ultimately blocked my number hoping I would just go away. Additionally, I feel certain she charged me twice intentionally. Save yourself the headaches and stress, call a different company! Do not waste your time and money with Bee Catchers! They are unprofessional and untrustworthy at best.

Thank you Bee Cathers, Inc. Bee Catchers came out and finished the job or removing bees that were in our wall in just a matter of a few hours. This included patching the area that had to be opened. In my opinion the price was also very reasonable.

It started out good. I had a great conversation with Nicole Palladino, then all of a sudden it turned south real fast after they came out to do half of the job. They got paid more than agreed and then she refused to come back and finish the job she agreed upon, out AFTER she had me go buy tons of equipment to keep the second swarm. I went through all the trouble of going and buying everything she told me to get and then she never returned calls, messages, and said she was too busy and she’d get back with me. Then she refused to respond and didn’t complete the job. Very rude and unprofessional and couldn’t just keep her word, nor respond. I’m highly disappointed in her service. **in response to the owners complete lies!!! That is insane you could muster up so many lies!!! I never read your response and the only reason we called you was to save the bees. My husband would NEVER threaten to kill bees~EVER!!! What a disgrace and unprofessional way to respond. We’ve had swarms removed several times in past years and never killed bees. You never told me to not try to keep bees. You told me where I could go and exactly what I needed to add to my box I already had. The ones meter had aggressive bees and that’s why you wanted to start there and confirmed the other side weren’t aggressive and may have been younger and broken off from the others? I can go on and on shooting down each of your lies- but hopefully no one will lose gets this kind of treatment from you. We were there the entire time and after the guys finished- they never once said the bees were too aggressive nor they weren’t coming back out… Shame on you. First for lying to me in the first place- next for your unprofessionalism with how you ghosted me and never handled the return for the other bees, and lastly~ for all your lies in your response. I wish you well and pray that may have just been a bad time in your business…& you’ve grown and are more professional now. My best in hopes you’re doing better.

Response from Bee Catchers, Inc.

Antoinette, no one from this company made you buy anything to keep any bees. You were the one who wanted to start “beekeeping”. There were two hives in two different meter boxes and the first one we removed were so aggressive, two technicians got stung 10-15 times each through their suits. I told you that I DID NOT feel safe relocating these bees to a box on your property. I told you from the beginning that you should not be trying to keep an established hove in your meter box, somewhere else close on your property. I spent so much time speaking to you. You didn’t want to pay anything at first. You wanted it free. Your husband Threaten to kill the bees you said. I went above and beyond and even drop my price to remove these bees for you. You were charged a total of $300 to remove a high that was so aggressive, including approximately 40 pounds of honeycomb from the meter box. It had been there probably a year. I didn’t think it was fair to come back and try to remove another potentially very aggressive hive into a box on your property and I told you that. I also told you that I should’ve kept the price where it was because this hive ended up being something much larger than what you said the length of time was for the bees being there. I was not going to be responsible for aggressive bees on private property. I have a duty to maintain and that is the safety of others in the community. You waited weeks to call me back at first, trying to convince your husband, is what you said. It was unfair and you wanted to be there during the removal process and I told you after the first hive, there was no way that was going to happen. You left me no choice, but no leave you with the second hive because you were not willing to listen. You so it’s clear, we never received a dime for the removal of the second hive. The fact that you think that the $300 you paid was far too much says volumes about your intentions. It’s beyond disrespectful and I’m not here to convince you or anyone else of what you did. I made the right decision for my company and the safety of the community. I was under no obligation to do anything for you. You did not pay for the second hive. You already stated you had some beekeeping equipment. I told you what else would be needed. You went and bought the small remaining amount, but after seeing the sheer aggressiveness of the bees I told you I could gift you docile bees for free instead and you REFUSED. Multiple times. At that point, there was nothing left to discuss. This was so many months ago, I’m glad you could time to construct an absolute false narrative. Have a good day and we wish you the best.

I was over charged on my credit card by $650 for the work performed. I called Bee Catchers to fix the mistake and they said they would send the over the refund right away. It has been 3 days and I still haven't received a refund nor will they return my calls or emails.
