Snake Guru

Thank you so so much for helping us with this little guy! I called and within about an hour, nick was there and able to get him to a wildlife rehabilitation facility! He handled the owl with such care, and was very good at answering our questions. Hoping for a bright future for this little one and thank you for the care and effort you put for these animals ❤️

Nick came and promptly took care of a big snake that found its way into our yard. What could’ve been a horrible and terrifying experience, Nick made an amazing one. He went way above and beyond to ensure our perimeter and house were safe and secure. He even gave us plenty of advice, tips and offered services that he could take care of if we ever decided we needed.He really made us feel like we could rest easy, and that our yard was once again the sanctuary it always had been! Nick even took the time to show our little one the snake and explained what to do if they ever saw or came across one! Really this is a “I hope I never have to need the service again” situation, but if that day ever comes Nick and Snake Guru are on “speed dial”! After all, we live in the desert and invaded their homes.. I can’t recommend Nick and Snake Guru enough!

I am so grateful for Nick at The Snake Guru for his expertise and assistance in relocating a Western diamondback rattlesnake from my yard. The snake was discovered by our irrigation crew while digging in the front yard planting bed. Thankfully, no one was hurt but the crew couldn't continue working until our friend was relocated elsewhere. Nick to the rescue! He arrived within 25 minutes and was quickly able to find and safely contain the rattlesnake. Nick also provided a thorough sweep of the area, as well as the garage and backyard to be sure it was safe to resume the irrigation work and the coast was clear. He then relocated the snake in an appropriate area out in the desert (away from people) which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Thank you Nick!!

Found a Tortoise walking down my street and called Snake Guru!! Nick came to the rescue in 15 minutes and was able to find the owner within the hour!! Nick was a fantastic help and great human being. Nick is incredible at what he does! I had an injured bat in my backyard that my dog wanted to get after. Nick came to my house very quickly after I called him and was able to safely remove the bat to get it the help it needed. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient at rescuing the bat.

We recently discovered that a Great Horned Owl had fallen into our fireplace and couldn’t get out on his own. I was given Nick’s number at Snake Guru by another animal rescue group who highly recommended him, and now I understand why. I called him around 8 pm and he was at our house first thing the next morning. Nick spent hours patiently working to free the owl, whom he lovingly named “Asher,” from a very tight space. When he realized a second pair of trained hands would help, he called Carrie from Wild at Heart Raptor Rescue, and together they were able to safely and quickly get Asher out. From there, Asher was transported to a rehabilitation facility where he could recover from his ordeal. Seeing how much Nick genuinely cares about Arizona’s wildlife, and how hard he is willing to work purely out of passion and compassion, was truly amazing. Having people like Nick in our community is a gift, and I cannot thank him enough for his help. I would absolutely recommend Snake Guru to anyone who needs humane wildlife rescue or removal in Arizona

Nick did an amazing job humanly removing a 3-4 foot rattle snake from my back yard. He was there quickly and had the snake secured in no time. He then checked the rest of my yard for any further snakes. He sent me a video of the rattlers new home. Fast and friendly service!! Nothing could have been better!!

Hello, i'm John. I had a wild night last night, January 20th I walked outside and saw a huge lizard surrounded by feral cats. I shooed the cats away and shield him under a 5 gallon bucket. To keep him safe, I called snake guru. told him my situation, him and his small son came down and saved the day. And it only took him 35 minutes to get there. They also told me all about it. It was a bearded dragon, 24 inches long, full grown, male or female. I didn't ask they were so great in handling it, and they took it with them to give it some carrying that he probably needed water, maybe a worm. If you have any unfortunate incidents with snakes weasels, big lizards, owls, maybe a Hawk call snake guru. they are the best in the phoenix area you can tell they love to help and are great at what they do. Nick is awesome He came out within a few hours of our call in a Sunday We had a rattlesnake under our house and he found it , captured it and released it. Would definitely recommend very professional.

Unsettling to have an on identified small snake in the garage just before Thanksgiving- called snake guru and Nick was incredible! Answered his phone, asked me to text him a photo as he would be on his way shortly, but could go ahead and identify the snake. He did and then came out and went above and beyond; searching for and securing Area snake had been in. Moved every item in the garage; including assisting with putting spare hardwood floor boxes up on the top garage cabinets. Efficient and affordable and so knowledgeable, I am so grateful to have a forever snake and wildlife expert. Two weeks After laying down glue traps, the snake appeared. I texted Nick a picture and he was back within 15 minutes and so humanely saved the snake and took it away to give it a bath and release it. I had never even heard of a Desert night snake. No extra charge, which was so gracious and we will have Nick out to do a packrat project next! Grateful for such a capable team member for our beautiful life in this incredible desert!

Nick is amazing! He is passionate about his field and his work in it. I hire him to help control the rodents occasionally nest in my home. He is super prompt and efficient. A true professional. Highly recommend.

I called Nick after noticing a rattlesnake in my garage on Friday night around 7 and he came out to help with removal immediately! He was incredibly calm (which I needed after the adrenaline dump of seeing that snake), professional, and knowledgeable. He also did a thorough check of our garage/gates and identified points of vulnerability on our property. My husband and I look forward to seeing him again for snake-proofing services soon! It is an inevitability that many of us in AZ will come across rattlesnakes near our homes (esp if we live close to washes or on the fringes of town), and it’s nice to know someone to call who will treat them with care when relocating them to somewhere safer for all of us. I was having work done at my house when the contractor saw a rattlesnake slither across and under my front door bottom threshold of my steel door. I called Nick and he was able to come in a but over a hour. He caught the rattlesnake and will release it into its natural habitat. He checked the rest of my property and able to seal the door area. Thank you for the quick response. Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend!!!

Charged me $109 to inspect two rooms for 38 minutes. Couldn't find the snake. Put out a couple sticky traps on the floor and left 😭 I took half of my entire wall down so he could look behind it... The snake is still loose in my house. It's a four and a half foot python.... (Escaped pet) I know he's still in the house and I get it, he's hiding really well, but that's the whole reason i hired him to help me find it. He could have definitely tried a lot harder or at the very least spent more time looking? I asked him if he thought it could be in the attic. He said "yea that's possible" and DIDNT EVEN BOTHER LOOKING. Now I have to go rent a ladder and do it myself ... $100+ for half an hour of a service that had no results? I already had glue traps, this was a waste of money ... He seemed really nice so I feel bad leaving a negative review 😞😞 idk..
