We had a mesquite tree removed that was growing towards our house. The gentleman who did the work did an amazing job. He was careful that the house would not be damaged at all, and after the tree was taken down and the stump ground out, he filled the hole and raked the rocks and it looks beautiful.

Large cactus removal was not as promised. Crew did not cover the patio and left stains all over; left a mess in the pool; minimally cleaned up after the removal, leaving cactus thorns all over; the removal did not match the details on the proposal; cost was more than on the proposal with no explanation; stump removal was promised but did not happen. When I called our sales rep, I was told he was looking into this but I never heard back from him. Overall, I would not recommend SavATree.

I had a fungus treatment for a grapefruit tree. It was an awful lot of money for such a little bit of chemical which I could have spread in 5 minutes. Didn’t need a college degree to drive a truck and do that.

we have used SavATree for a number of years and then, to save a little money, tried another company. That was a costly mistake. This company knows their trees! And when the arborist came out this spring, he was the same person who came 9 years ago. To me, that's an indication of a stable company. Thank you, Scott!

Always have had an arborist trim my trees. My usual tree service’s schedule didn’t fit my timeframe so I decided to try SavATree. Big mistake! If you are in the area where Sarah Maitland is the consulting arborist, don't believe her sales pitch. The amount of trimming done wasn't equivalent to the inflated price. Definitely a ripoff! Contact other arborists for better trimming and pricing.

Nice people, experts in tree health, but not good at pruning. Just because they know about trees does not make them good at natural looking results. Pruners are unsupervised, laborers without formal training and no one came out to inspect their work to make sure it was satisfactory. . Recommend for tree care if you don’t care how they look.

I asked for an estimate and inspection of dying palms. There are six palms together. 50-year-old strong California palms. One palm starts dying in May. It is dead by the end of June. The two palms next to it are not dying. A second palm, a palm away from the dead palm starts to die before the first one is completely dead. A month later the second palm being almost completely dead, now a third palm, the one next to it starts to die. This man stood on the ground with me looked up at it and said I don't think it's a fungus or insects I think it's just cultural. Cultural meaning like the ground and the water I guess... Are you serious? Are you really serious? Is there anybody who thinks trees would die in this fashion, in this timing... While the rest of the trees are still alive at this moment.... I fully expect another one to start dying quickly.... But you're telling me This arborist could tell what was killing the palms that are 50 ft high... Looking up at it from the ground... AND saying it's not likely to be insects or a fungus.... Okay, rarely any insects do kill these kind. But you're not even going to get up there and look at the leaves? Look you can tell from 50 ft below? THANKS FOR THE FREE ESTIMATE! WORTHLESS😡🤬

Do not pay in advance. I paid $1625 for four hours of tree trimming, which included ONE HOUR of travel time. Really??? $400 for an hour of travel!! No special equipment was used in their work; they just used hand tools. The technicians were excellent, did a good job, and cleaned up well, but the pricing is way out of line.

Regularly receive junk mail, have asked a few times to be removed from their junk mailing list and the requests have been ignored.

My experience with this company was unpleasant. I would recommend getting many estimates and double checking what they tell you.
