Solutions Pest & Lawn, founded in 1958, was the first do-it-yourself pest control store in the country. Starting as a local pest control company the Richard Boyd saw an opportunity to sell the same professional chemicals he was using in his pest control service business directly to homeowners. They bought a small gas station and converted it to a pest control store. The stores have changed hands many times over the years and were sold in 2011 to Zach Colander. Solutions is now family owned and operated and the only direct to consumer manufacturer of insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and equipment. We are the nation’s largest and fastest-growing professional pest, lawn, and equipment retailer with a network of stores nationwide.

Anne was such a great help and super knowledgeable on how I could remedy the pest issues I was dealing with! She also showed me a bunch of new amazing bands to listen to! Hands down best customer service I’ve ever received! This girl needs a raise and a fat bonus!

Wendy was an absolute joy! Our car broke down nearby right at closing last night and she opened her doors to allow us a brief respite while we got an uber. We’ll definitely be coming back for any pest control needs in the future!
I went into the store with questions about an ant problem and fleas. The sales person was very helpful and friendly. This is where I will do all my pest control shopping from now on.

Everything you could possibly need to take care of your pest control needs yourself. Knowledgeable employees and helpful direction and advice. Hope you never need them but if you do this definitely the place.
Great place for DIY pest control
Giving this place 2 stars because the woman up front was very knowledgeable and helpful when I went last week. However, I would advise anyone coming to purchase here that prices and items vary per person. They do not honor their online prices in the store. The online price was $99 and the product was sold to me for $140 in store because according to the gentlemen at the counter from today, “they need to pay rent”. Just the worst thing to tell a customer for a company basically price gauging. They then refused to sell the same product to my partner today, claiming they didn’t “carry it” but I had just purchased the same item Friday afternoon. Seems like they play favorites with their customers and decide what to charge you on the spot. Buyer beware.

They didn't have the granules I was looking for. The dude had the front doors locked during business hours. Think he was using the restroom or something so it's really just a matter of safety so I get it. Big ant problems this summer so them being out of granules is not surprising. You can get most of your professional grade insecticides here

William, the granules were on a small backorder with the manufacturer They're back in stock this week. We also carry liquids that can accomplish the same control quicker. Please take a stop by the store and speak with the sales rep. They can definitely assist.
They know their stuff and do not try to upsell. I've been twice and will continue to use them for bug needs.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Store manager Jason seemed drunk 🥴 incoherently tried to sell products to me. AVOID PLUS HE TRIED TO RIP ME OFF ! jacked up the Instore price 20 dollars over the price it was online ! Horrible SCAMMERS AVOID

first time customer and not a very good experience. I paid extra for FEDEX delivery because I need the product to keep my project on track. the shipment was damaged in transit and sent back to the company. I should have been contacted when this happened and I could have reordered as a rush. 7 days of waiting. very disappointing.

Good morning Ms. Hunt,<br>I apologize for getting back to you so late. Unfortunately, we are not notified by the carriers when packages get damaged during transit and we are not aware of this until our customers reach out to us or the product is returned to the warehouse. We do our best to take care of these issues as soon as we find out what is going on. We take all of our customers' comments seriously and we use them as a training tool and we do our best to fulfill each order in order for the packages to make it to our customers but we cannot control how the carriers treat the packages once they are in their possession. My sincere apologies that you experienced this issue.
The process for ordering and delivery of the product went smoothly - no complaints. Information provided by the company for the proper setting of my spreader was incorrect - it barely provided 1/2 of the minimum application rate as specified by the product manufacturer. I sent an email asking a question to their "Ask a Pro" email address and was assured by them (twice) that they would respond to it - that was over a month ago. So their service outside of ordering and delivering products needs work.
I ordered some termite chemicals from this company and opted for regular delivery (about 10 days) to allow for all the prep work for a job I was doing. The chemicals were delivered on time, BUT the chemicals were delivered to an address across the state. Also, someone signed for them. I called this company to find out what happened and someone in there office told me that I had to fill out an affidavit and email it back. I immediately did so. the next day I learn that Wal-Mart refunds my money due to, "customer changed there mind". NOT TRUE! The customer service department with this company said it was FedEx's mix up, FedEx said that it was this company's mix up. The whole point to this situation is that I'm the customer and I had a job opened up for and additional week. I'm the customer and I was practically disregarded. How does that make sense?
I tried to cancel an order literally 10 minutes after I placed it, but it was impossible. Also, the company would not match another's price. I would not recommend them.

I understand your frustration but as a small business, we do not have the ability to price match with competitors that are larger than us. When ordering through our online service on the weekends, our warehouse team packs the orders, first thing Monday mornings, to make sure that our customers receive their products faster. We buy the product from the manufacturer and we ship the product to our customers. This is why our cost may be higher than larger competitors. We have local stores where you can pick the product up but because of over head costs our prices are a bit higher than other companies because we do not have the space to stock large quantities. This is one of the reasons why our cost is higher.
I ordered their talstar ex on the 13th of November and emailed them Friday the 23rd and called and wrote to Fedex on Monday the 26th. NO WORD FROM TALSTAR, you would think after ordering from these people 3 times before they would at least pick up the phone or email customers who are asking about products they ordered that apparently were forgotten but instead they hide from the customer and send it out the 26th FEDEX was who finally updated me on my products. COMMUNICATION will get you farther than ignoring the customer!
