Our records show that throughout your rodent service, our team followed the agreed-upon process and maintained clear communication after each visit. During the initial setup, traps were placed based on observed activity, and per our standard protocol, they remain in place until two consecutive visits show no rodent activity. Your most recent service on October 7 met that benchmark.<br><br>During your one-on-one conversation with our technician at the property on October 7, no concerns were raised by you, Olivia. If you had mentioned ongoing activity at that time, we have many options available — including adding more traps, relocating existing ones, or adjusting placement based on where activity was observed. Instead, you called our office afterward and demanded a refund before being willing to discuss the matter further. This prevented us from being able to investigate or address your concerns in real time.<br><br>For clarity, during the September 29 visit, our technician suggested replacing the door seal on your garage to reduce future rodent entry points. You called later that day at 1:06 PM to move forward with the exclusion service, and an appointment was set for October 6. On October 2 at 2:34 PM, you cancelled the service unless we provided reduced pricing. We provide fair and competitive pricing upfront and do not negotiate after services are agreed upon.<br><br>We also want to address the comment regarding phone communication. Our phone records confirm multiple calls to your number. However, as the interactions became increasingly erratic and accusatory, we transitioned to written communication to protect both our team and the accuracy of all information shared.<br><br>Our internal review confirmed that all visits, notes, and communications aligned with our standard process and the terms discussed at the start of service. Our goal in every service is to provide thorough, results-driven work while maintaining honest and respectful communication with every customer.<br><br>After reviewing your account, we found no errors in service or billing. Our team acted professionally, communicated clearly, and completed work consistent with the agreed plan.

Terrible service, more spider webbs, creepy crawlers and 100s of mosquitos trapped in the windows. Paid twice and even re-service to no avail.

Mr. Mushtaque your quarterly pest control services were completed in April and July. At your request, we provided an additional reservice August 1st at no charge, as part of our commitment to standing behind our work.<br><br>Your next quarterly treatment was due now and would have addressed any current pest activity. You chose not to move forward with that service. Based on seasonal pest patterns here in Wisconsin, we see fluctuations in activity depending on the time of year — which is exactly what the quarterly service you initially agreed to is designed to manage.<br><br>You also claimed we serviced your property twice in the last week of September, which is not accurate — our last visit was August 1st. In your original emails of 10/1/2025, your concern was flies and included a request for a refund for services performed over six months earlier. In this review, the issue has shifted entirely to mosquitoes which we have never serviced your property for.<br><br>We are accountable for the work we perform, but not for services that did not occur or for shifting claims that do not reflect the actual services provided and history.<br><br>

Over the years, the north, east, and south-facing eaves and roof overhangs of my home have been popular with wasps, and several generations have built their nests high up beyond the reach of regular bug spray. The wasps themselves are a nuisance when we’re sitting out or working around the house, and their nests are an eyesore. I decided to take action this year and have the wasps killed and all of their current and former nests removed. I saw many positive reviews for Mosquito Joe and called them one morning on the way home from my golf game. The scheduler told me that they could send a Tech out the same day (shock!), and provided a quote for the job. Sure enough, within a couple of hours the Tech was at my home killing wasps and knocking down all of the nests. The “Tech” turned out to be Seth the owner of the local franchise. My wife and I were very pleased with the speed, thoroughness, and reasonable cost of the service. I highly recommend Mosquito Joe if you find yourself experiencing the wrong kind of BUZZ!

I am still in shock over how stressful and frustrating it was to work with this company. I called them for two separate incidents and their communication was downright horrible. The first time, I booked a one-time event for mosquito control via their website. I got a confirmation email stating that my service is reserved but not scheduled and someone will reach out to me. After no one reached out, I called the next day to ask about scheduling and the lady told me that I have a service scheduled for today. I was confused - I asked them to give me a time frame when they would be coming in and she responded that it’s hard to give a time frame because it’s hard to get in touch with the field team. I said I get that but I would like a window when I know the team is coming in, and she told me she’d get in touch with them and let me know. I told her to reach out after 30 minutes as I’m going into a meeting. She calls me 10 minutes later, and I don’t pick up because I’d mentioned I’m in a meeting. I call back later and get no response. The next thing I know, there’s an invoice in my email with no info on how to pay. I ask what this is and they respond that the service was completed. I was irritated because I was in the process of scheduling and did not say this time/date worked for me, and they decided to drop in unannounced, go through my property, and drop an invoice. I had asked for dates and times and they not only did this service but excused themselves saying, “We work on a day-based schedule, which means once a service date is confirmed, our technician may arrive any time that day. While we do our best to provide updates, our team is often servicing properties or driving, so there can be delays in communication. I appreciate your understanding.” I didn’t even get a date and I had asked for a window. This felt uncomfortable and invasive, as I did not know who was on my property or when the service was being done, and as a first-time client, it did not feel trustworthy. I excused this as a one-time mishap. The next time, I got in touch with a rep over a wasp nest removal. This time I set a date for Monday and said I’d be available till 5:30. I called at 12 and asked the rep if I could get an ETA or a window. She said yes and that she would get back to me. An hour goes by, and at 1:20, I call again asking about the ETA and the lady again says she’ll get back to me. I say that if you can’t get me an ETA in 20 minutes, please cancel the service and she agrees. She doesn’t get back to me. At 2:28, I get an automated message saying the technician will be there shortly. I respond that I cancelled. At 2:33, I get a call from another rep, who says “so I got a request for an ETA” and I was like “do you even communicate within your team?” because I had cancelled. The rep mentioned the same excuse about having no communication with the field team. Are they operating with no phones or schedule? Is it so hard to provide a window? I wasn’t asking for an exact time. I mentioned that I needed a window so I could be there to show the technicians the locations and the rep says the technicians are skilled and can find the nests themselves, which I don’t disagree but I would like to talk to the people doing work on my property and show them problem areas to make sure this doesn’t reoccur. I cancelled my service and told them to close my account. I ended up calling Kwik-Kill - my call lasted exactly 4 minutes and the rep immediately provided a window when I asked for one. There were no excuses and everything was stress-free. I understand services take time and you can’t provide an exact time. But even a 4-hour window is something that shouldn’t be hard to provide. The service itself was fine but the process of getting something booked is frustrating. Never again.

These treatments are typically performed early in the morning or late afternoon to ensure the safety of our technicians and the effectiveness of the service since stinging insects are more docile at those times. Based on your availability until 5:30 PM, your appointment was set for later in the afternoon, well within the timeframe you shared.<br>On the day of service, we understand you were seeking a more specific arrival window than the afternoon timeframe. While you allowed us 20 minutes to provide an exact time, coordinating directly with our field technicians to confirm their location and estimated arrival can take longer. We pride ourselves on providing the same high-quality service and professional communication to all customers. Our technicians focus on delivering thorough and comprehensive service to each customer, and we want to provide you the most accurate information possible, which sometimes requires additional time.<br>We also want to clarify that a service notice was sent prior to arrival to keep communication open for both services. No invoice was sent yesterday since no work was completed.<br>Our goal is always to balance safety, communication, and fairness while delivering high-quality service to all customers. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and remain committed to providing reliable and professional pest control services.

Mosquito Joe is the best! Seth was over the top helpful and expert with a serious rodent problem. I appreciate also that I could choose repellent rather than extermination. (ie trapped and relocated.) And now, with the weather causing the emergence of flood plain mosquitoes which do not respond to Mosquito Joe's regular spray, they have scheduled another spray.application- unasked and at no extra cost. Pretty impressive if you ask me!

These guys were awesome! I saw a mouse in the morning and they came that same day to start the removal process. They use stuff that’s safe for pets which is a big deal for me since I have. 2 dogs and a cat. They are always super nice and professional when they come to check the traps. I haven’t seen a mouse since they came so I’m super happy with their work. I would absolutely use them again!

It is hard to know if the mosquito treatments we have had for the last 3 years have been effective. Mosquito populations in the region have been low each of these years. The company has had internal communications issues and need to provide better training for their technicians so they better understand the products theu are applying.

I contacted Mosquito Joe on July 15th and set up 5 treatments. The person I talked to said they would be coming July 22nd to do a treatment. A week was a little longer than I wanted to wait, but I agreed to it. So, I waited a week and did not see a sign that they had come on Monday. I emailed asking whether anyone came, and got called back the very next morning. I was told that when they say the July 22nd, what they mean is the week of July 22nd. Someone's coming this Friday. It takes nearly 2 weeks to get your yard sprayed after the initial appointment is made. The mosquitoes in my yard seem to have already diminished, due to the cold front. I haven't got a treatment yet, but I think I regret this.

A few of us decided to try it out this year. My first application which was supposed to take care of about 75% of the skeeters for 21 days worked great for exactly 14 days. I brought it up to MJoe and they responded with "You are correct we expect to see a 75% decrease after the first treatment and progress from there. Additionally your timing of 21 days is also spot on." So not sure where 14=21 but 3 star review = 2/3 effectiveness I guess. Just had them do a second application yesterday. We'll see how this goes. Response 3 mo later. I ended up getting double billed on the last application (probably for the comp application). It lasted about a week, given the rain may have played into it. Ended up cancelling service moving forward and it's just more cost effective doing it myself. The MJ customer service team is always good just hasn't been effective at my residence. Thanks anyway.
