Willard's Pest Control

Read this before you hire this company. We hired this company to resolve an active rodent and squirrel infestation in our home. What we received instead was weeks of frustration, conflicting information, and zero results. They came out three separate times to trap rodents and removed dead animals. We were then told exclusion work was necessary to prevent re-entry. We paid for that work. We were informed the exclusion had been completed- without anyone needing interior access. Days later, when activity continued unchanged, a technician returned and told us he had “just completed” the exclusion work that we had already been told was finished which directly contradicted what I had been told days prior. Despite multiple visits and paying for exclusion, there has been absolutely no decrease in rodent or squirrel activity. We still hear them day and night. Nothing changed. Communication has been just as bad as the results. Calls are not returned. When they are answered, the tone is dismissive and condescending. Our landlord formally authorized them to work directly with me, yet they repeatedly give me the runaround and refuse to provide clear answers. The situation has now escalated to the point where my children and I are dealing with rodent mites-something that happens when infestations are not properly resolved. We paid a significant amount of money for trapping, exclusion, and follow-up. We were told they stand behind their work and guarantee removal. There has been no measurable improvement, no accountability, and no urgency despite the health implications. This has been an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. If you are considering hiring them for wildlife exclusion, I strongly recommend hiring literally anyone else.

As a property manager, a homeowner and a business owner, I have had the opportunity to work with Henry at Willard's pest control multiple times in different situations. The level of detail and attention and follow up, Provided during every single one of my transactions has been outstanding and phenomenal. I would recommend them to my clients and my friends, and they certainly deserve five stars.

We found mice poop in our new-home one-year inspection. Mice came into the garage but have not enter the inside of the living areas. I got the info from one of the neighbor and they sent Sebring in. Sebring is such a wonderful person that is super professionally found and sealed totally 8-9 entry points and explained how the mice found their way in. Sebring is neat and polite. AFter the first visit I cleaned the garage for better observation, and he was even nicely helping me to vacuum better so we could have better way to check for the third time. Sebring just came and visit for the third time and we truly see no sign of miss anymore. Sebring is great, and the company is great, for dealing with mice! It is a 5 star for me!

This company visited in July to exterminate yellow jackets at a cost of approximately $300.00. I was satisfied with the price and outcome. I asked them out again in September to address ants and yellow jackets and received a bill for nearly $600.00 without prior notification of the price and for a 15 minute visit. I thought I had found a company I could trust for this service. But they have been unwilling to adjust their price to a more reasonable level. I recommend that you locate a company that is more client friendly. I like to develop long term relationships with our vendors. Can't do it if they are charging unreasonably and without prior notification.

I’ve been loyal to Willard’s ever since they neutralized a huge yellow jacket nest in our bedroom wall, at the height of the pandemic. They’ve been out a few times since then to take out nests in our backyard. We’ve been happy with the results every time.

Extremely disappointing experience with this company. Henry’s communication has been sub-par and at times unprofessional. Instead of replying to multiple emailed questions, he cold-called me early in the morning to ask if I had checked the traps for him. When I told him the raccoons were in someone’s crawlspace, his response was essentially, “That’s too bad,” and said he wouldn’t do anything about it. I asked twice what his plan was for dealing with raccoons that were ignoring the traps, and both times he completely dodged the question. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or professional pest control services.

I called twice in two weeks, trying to get a quote and work done to clear our new Cle Elum cabin from pests and have yet to hear back. Very disappointing. Went with Prosite instead who did a fantastic job and great guys to work with.

Rick, at Willards pest control was kind and patient and extremely helpful with my problem with an otter infestation on our boat His chemical and procedural advice were curative! We are very grateful

Willard’s is the most excellent pest control agency I have ever used. They are doing a clean Crawl now and are doing a wonderful job! My crawl space is low but not super low but they are installing a sump pump and new insulation plus vapor Barrier. I am so leased with their work.

AVOID this company if you value your time and money. $700 and 2 months later, and my squirrel problem is exactly the same as it was when they started. Search for “Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control” (their other name) and read the reviews there for more accurate descriptions of their services. A tip: if they reassure you that their methods are reliable and work well, just know that’s NOT TRUE for everyone, and they’ll do absolutely nothing to help you after you’ve already sent them the set-up fees. They caught one squirrel that wasn’t even one of the ones that live in my attic, and left it in the trap a full 24 hours before picking it up, which made all the other squirrels avoid the traps from then on. I’m holding back tears as I write this, because I feel so confused, frustrated and misled, as I try to WFH while listening to the squirrels running around in my attic. Note that the employees I’ve interacted with are friendly. But the company’s management and approach to pest trapping are totally lacking and unhelpful.

I found a pest problem in my home. Called and was told a of flat fee to inspect which would be applied to any needed fix. Scot came out, on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem, told me we didn't really need him and how to handle it myself. Then lowered the inspection fee! Competence, maturity and honesty; what a pleasure. He could have taken me for unnecessary repairs but did not. Refreshing in this day and age. Highest recommendation.

I called a couple of pest control companies to help with a wasp situation. I decided to go with Willard’s as they seemed to be the most no fuss, no upselling tactics, no ridiculous charges just for showing up type of a company. Jason was great on the phone. Brent came out the next day. Thorough assessment was completed and the situation was explained to me. Bottom line is that these guys were straightforward, honest, and didn’t charge for a service that would have been futile in the end. Will certainly contact again for any future needs.

Twice they came and just knocked at the door, no doorbell, no phone call, nothing. By the time I got the person alert on my ring camera and got dressed and got to the door, already they took off. Probably no longer than 2 minutes waiting. Got an email from them stating I “wasn’t home” at the appointment time 😂 It’s okay because all they did was set Home Depot quality traps in my crawlspace. I just looked at the kind of traps they were using and bought a bunch for like $30

I work with this company at the condos I manage and they do a great job with rat control and when we have wasp nests or ants. Our technician, Mark, is great to work with and always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!

We had what we thought was a dead animal in the crawl space, making the house smell terrible. I called these guys up, and it was a great experience until they came out for the job. I talked with Jason on the phone, very kind, who told me the service was $175 plus tax. Okay great. The technician arrives, he was okay. Not very personable or friendly, but I figured hey, I wouldn’t be super excited if that was my job either. Brushed it off, no big deal. He said he found 2 small dead mice, but said the smell was coming from rat and raccoon droppings, not a dead animal. He told us his findings and left. I was then sent an invoice for $330. I paid it, but then called and asked why it was so much higher than the quote, especially considering they didn’t do anything but look. I spoke with Rick, who was defensive and snappy, said “no, the price was always $300 plus tax and that’s what you were charged.” I tell him that Jason quoted me $175 over the phone for the service of removing a dead animal (which wasn’t even done). Again, he says no. He was quite rude and I wasn’t in the mood to argue with the guy, so I said alright, whatever - but what exactly was done that cost $330? “Well he removed the dead mice.” I didn’t see him remove anything, I was there the whole time. He went under the crawl space twice, the second time said he wanted to double check something (never told me what that something was). He never once came back out with dead mice in hand. I understand that cleaning the droppings is an added on service and not included with what I had requested. But to charge me much more than quoted, and then not really do anything… waste of my money and time. I do not recommend working with this company.

This has been the worst experience ever. I call to get a raccoon removed. The guy that answered the phone gave me completely wrong information to begin with. Said if there were babies under the house that they would go under the house and put one in the trap to catch the mother. Wrong information. Then he gave me wrong pricing. They sent me the contract and it was ridiculous. When everyday you have to call a trap line and give them an update. I had Scot come take a look at where they were coming in. He went under the house. He said oh yea we can put a metal grate on the siding to reinforce it and put pea gravel up against it. I said this will be at no charge correct? He said we will take care of you. I just received an email from them saying it would take 2 men to do the job at 175.00 each totalling 350.00. I told him I was going to dispute the original charge as not completed as promised. Disgusting way to treat your customers. Very unhappy with them.

We recently got an inside and outside spray for spiders at our house and the man who came but to handle everything was super friendly and had great customer service and was happy to answer any questions in a respectful manner. HOWEVER, the woman on the customer service/answer line for booking appointments was awful. She did not clearly inform me of much and when the day of the appointment came, I was expecting an inspection for the inside and possible spraying of the outside as I had clearly stated. What was booked was a full sweep spray which we were not prepared for with a full family plus a child and dog. It took many phone calls to be able to switch the appointment to another day and the woman was yet again, rude and unfriendly. She grudgingly helped me but did not mention that they would be charging us an extra $150.00 for that mix up. They just tacked it onto the bill later. In addition, they clearly stated in the phone call that they would do a sweep of all spider webs on the ceilings and hard to reach places we still see many spider webs. Not a very good job. All in all, a very unpleasant experience. I just wanted to warn future customers of what to expect when calling and how they could possibly leave out very crucial information. At least the spray guy will be great! Hope this helps 👍🏻

We just had a visit from Williard's Pest Control. The technician was completely unprepared and I felt like I had to observe the entire procedure... He arrived without any protective equipment. Not even a mask. He asked about the wasps and the problem areas, which I explained in detail. The wasps were only now and have only ever been a problem at the junction between the fascia and the brick on the front peaked roof area above the front door and the same junction in the area around the upstairs balcony. The technician then proceeded to walk around the perimeter of the house spraying wildly (without a ladder or extended spraying wand) all over the fascia in EVERY area that there has NEVER been a wasp. He even sprayed around a bird house that is currently home to baby birds, endangering their lives. He completely failed to ever retrieve a ladder or spray in ANY of the areas that I had mentioned. Not one. I very clearly pointed them out and asked for confirmation. On top of ALL this, he was also about to spray the ground to kill the ants that don't exist before I stopped him and asked him not to do so. This was a horrifying experience and now the house is totally covered in poison that is only endangering the lives of everyone and everything EXCEPT wasps. I feel concern for the technician, too, since he did all of this without any protective equipment and skin showing everywhere... We still need help with the wasps.

An update to my earlier review: Willard’s charges for estimates. Although I never received my estimate from Willards they did email me a bill for it shortly after I wrote my first review. Contrary to their response, they were 1 1/2 hours late for the appointment and I was NOT okay with it. Any pest company that’s needs two weeks to write up an estimate to remove a couple of bats from your attic are not the folks to hire, which is not how long they told me it would take when they came to my home. They said a few days at the time. Clean Crawls and other companys will give estimates within hours. I stand by my earlier bad review: they were comically unprofessional and still are by the simple fact that it took them 9 months to respond to my first review!
