Didn’t try to upsell me and in fact when I asked about something I may need he was honest and shared it was not needed for my circumstances. He could have made money on that. It’s rare to work with people like this guy and I couldn’t help but share what gem he and his integrity are. I have worked with many other pest control companies and this is my pest guy now. John answered my SOS for help with a rat stuck but still alive in my house. I asked if he could possibly fit me in the same day and he was able to not only squeeze me in, but did a thorough inspection of my property, did a full assessment and showed me photos from the far corners of my house. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable and he put my mind at ease that it appeared I had just a single straggler, not an infestation. So very kind, and he and his rig have a great northwest flair. It was a pleasure to meet him and I'm so greatful for his help. He will be my first call if I ever have another pest problem. Just had our first service done by Fox Island Pest Control and highly impressed! John was out last week to do the free estimate and rodent activity inspection (I pretty much expected him to report rodent activity even if it was very old so that we'd need his services), but he told us there was nothing very new, but some older droppings. He came out the next day, treated the area and provided information on prevention strategies. My husband was impressed that he swept for spider webs in “his” garage. John’s approach is definitely environmentally focused. I mentioned that I don’t like spiders in my house, but that they’re fine in the garden. He agrees and only treats areas near the house and provides barriers to keep them out. If you’re fortunate enough to live in the area he services, I’d highly recommend him.
