I never write poor reviews, but Senske's series of broken promises has left us no choice at this point - if nothing else than to warn others. On Nov 25, 2025 we received a quote from them to install Christmas lights. They quoted both sides of tho house as well as the front which has three gables. In total the quote was for $1,516 with an estimated install date of Dec 5th and she paid $758 via credit card. When they finally arrived on Dec 15th they did not install one side of the house at all, as well as one of the front gables. When my wife pointed this out to the guys doing the install they said that these were too high for them to install. This side of the house is two stories tall with no peaks so this made no sense, especially where their marketing materials show pictures of homes much taller than ours. My wife called the salesman John who apologized and said he would makes sure our final bill was adjusted proportionately and that he would get back to her. After hearing nothing for several days she called again and finally got a hold of Cory who confirmed our final payment would be reduced by $400. As you can now guess, they charged our credit card the full remaining balance of $758. My wife called them again to let them know we were going to dispute this charge but still got no response. We disputed $400 of the charge with our credit card company and because Senske told them they performed the contracted service, our dispute was rejected. Then to top things off, we received a message asking if we would like to use them for any of their other services like pest control, lawn care, etc. No thanks. Having run multiple businesses over my career, I know that things don't always go smoothly. But when there is blatant disregard for correcting their errors, to make things right, to follow up on their promises, that tells me all I need to know. I suggest using someone else who is more professional.

I contacted Senske Services seeking a simple one-time yard cleanup. I spoke with Jason, a regional account manager, who assured me this service was available and straightforward. He then sent an invoice for "Early Summer Plant Care and Vegetation Management 3." Shortly after, I received a text from technician Ethan stating he was coming to spray my trees with insecticide—a service I had never requested or agreed to. I immediately responded, clarifying that I did not sign up for this and instructing them not to proceed. I followed up multiple times by phone to inquire about the scheduled yard cleanup. I ended up emailing with an applications manager, Nathan informed me that a technician had already visited the property. Confused, I emailed Nathan to explain my expectations and the misunderstanding. Instead of addressing the issue helpfully, he argued that I had signed up for the spraying service and, when I reiterated my different understanding, dismissively told me to "read my emails again." They also refuse to address my attempts to work out the bill for these unwated and unneccessary services. Overall, this experience involved clear miscommunication, unwanted service attempts, and unprofessional customer service. I would not recommend Senske based on this interaction.

I have used this company for 3 years. In that time they are very reliable that they will screw up my jobs and my billing. In December I noticed I have been over charged for services I do not get. They found the total to be 756.00$ so they said they would refund me. Now January and no refund. I called and they said they just decided to credit my account with them not my bank. They also have horrible sales men that if you ghost, they will have you spammed by lots of local car dealerships saying you reached out for information on a car for about 2 days. It happens anytime I ignore their calls.

Oh I don’t want to write this review but I’m at wits end. During my Christmas light consultation, I was told to plan for the first week of November. Well they scheduled on the 18th. That’s fine I guess…I asked what time window—I had to ask multiple times to finally be told the afternoon. The day of, I got a text saying never mind we’re coming now! Well. That really mucked up my work schedule but things happen…the lights were installed and they left without telling me. It’s awful. Exposed power adapters, visible loose cables, gosh, it’s not even safe! Well. Some lights weren’t even working, so I told the fella I was working with. And nothing. I told him again. Nothing. I asked again. I was told he’s off until January and to ask someone named Nathan? I asked how to contact Nathan, nothing. Now I’m just a few weeks from Christmas with lights installed poorly for less than time than I was promised and some not even working!!! I am so upset. I cannot believe I paid $1,000 for this! And no one is talking to me! So this is my last resort. What a waste. I like the wreath and everyone was kind, but I could never ever recommend them. Oh and at one point I was inadvertently texted someone else’s bid! Including all their personal information!! I sure hope that didn’t happen to me. I really wish I could at least not get charged the rest of this job. I am very unhappy. And goodness, I’ve been so patient and accommodating, truly!

Signed up for one time application $50-something dollar service, confirmed on call one time service. Not even 2 months later got text that they were coming for quarterly service. Confirmed it was supposed to be one time service. Told the company to cancel. Then got text that they were coming for the bimonthly service. Requested cancelation again! Keep getting emails and texts to pay outstanding balance but there isn’t a bill attached. I’ve responded how much do I owe send the bill via mail— because it’s not coming in text or in the email. They know my address. No reponses from the company for help. Just auto reminders to pay the bill they won’t send. I just want them to leave me alone. Nightmare.

Steer clear of Senske!!! We originally signed up for an annual fertilizing & weed treatment plan. They came and did the first fertilizing of our yard & used granules. I cancelled after the first service because the spray fertilizer seems to do better in our area than granules. I tried calling them because the weeds have gotten worse since they came out two weeks ago (as well as our lawn hasn't greened up at all). They told me they "don't take care of weeds during the first service." This was NOT disclosed when I signed up & the first service costs the same as every other service in their annual plan. When I asked them to simply come address the weeds, I was told, "Because you cancelled your future services for fertilizing, we will not come back out or re-treat". I asked for a refund or partial refund since they didn't treat for weeds then and was told "I will submit a request, but it's not likely it will get approved." Very disappointing that they didn't treat for weeds and are unwilling to simply standby them saying they treat for weeds. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced from ANY company! Learn from my mistake & go with someone else.

If I could give zero stars I would, this company DOSE NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR HOME!!!!!! Customer beware, I DO NOT recommend SENSKE SERVICES for your lawn/tree or any care for that matter Their sales people (Sarah in this case) will talk you into circles, and then charge you above and beyond for the services you asked for. They will mention the cost of a SINGLE treatment without telling you it needs to be done multiple times, then when they charge you “in full” you’ll be paying for 5x that and at the end of season they double up the service and do them at the same time, on what planet can you provide a lawn service (like fertilization) double up and expect the same results? This is only done so they can charge you for two treatments at once, then good luck ever getting scheduled or a complete service in general. If you aren’t babysitting the people they send out, they will walk around, plop an advertisement on your lawn then leave with no services rendered. When you call to complain you will get a call center that has no ability to help you and don’t get me started on asking for a receipt because even that will be delayed…then when you ask for a refund they will tell you it takes 10 days, won’t provide any proof of the refund and you just have to sit and wait and hope it arrives. We supposedly were 7 out of the 10 days for a refund of services they over charged us for, and when we asked to cancel in full we are now told we will not be getting the first refund (hmmmmm probably because it was never processed) and have to wait an additional 10 days for a full refund, interesting if you process the first refund why would it be void for the second to be done?? I will update this review after we have received our refund with the time it took and if it was the correct amount. I cannot let them take advantage of any more people, only their sales people will tell you what you want to hear, they don’t hire anyone competent to actually do the services…good luck 🤦‍♀️ hire a company that has better communication, work ethic and the skills needed for the services you are looking for.

I recommend not using this company. After paying ahead of time for aeration (to avoid a 3% fee to pay at time of service), I was told they would schedule a time for the service. However, they showed up unannounced, were there for all of 10 minutes (that’s over $1000/hr rate….) and busted 3 sprinklers. Had they told me a time/date, I would have marked those sprinklers, but wasn’t given that opportunity. After repeated calls to have my lawn re-aerated due to lack of coverage or quality plugs, they said, “that’s how we do aeration.” I have been waiting for over a week for my sprinklers to be fixed, getting passed from one technician to another for scheduling. If you want quality service, at a respectable rate, go somewhere else.

So we went with Senske as they would text before they come out so I can bring in my Dog. I love that about them and they do that :). However I have had issues with other things with them. Second rep that came out I asked him why my weeds were not dying he said they should be I said well look at my lawn they are not. He said I will hit them with the Cannon after that the weeds started to die which was awesome his name is Brad. He also said he would be taking care of my house now since it was his route. He also told me on that day that my lawn had a fungus and that someone from Senke Special services would call me for a fungus Treatment within a few days I think this was a thursday when he came out so when they had not called me in a few days I called Senske. He came back out to do recheck on the weed treatment on that day he called his supervisor and explained that the division that was supposed to call me about the fungus treatment has never done it and that looked bad on him. His supervisor was going to call me I figured to try and make it right or something but guess what no phone call. Then about 3 or so weeks ago we had another treatment, however it was not by Brad and this is now what my lawn looks like. I can only figure that if it was Brad who was the one that came to my house he would have saw that the weeds were coming back and would have gotten the Cannon out and hit the lawn again with the weed treatment as he had told me that he was going to watch the weeds and make sure they did not come back while doing the treatments. I can tell you that if Senske cannot even take care of the weeds in my lawn I will not use them to re seed my lawn which of course I am going to need to get it looking back to what it needs to be done. I was also going to use them for the Aeration and power raking this fall. I am very disappointed with them at this moment in time. This picture is just of my Back yard weeds.
