Home has been sitting empty for half a year while trying to sell. Paid $280 for a one time spray for the new homeowners. It’s been a couple of days and spiders are still running around the interior of the house. Was told they did not spray the interior other than just under the sinks. Very disappointed when trying to help the homeowners with their new purchase. Also had scheduled for 8-10 am, but at 10 the tech said he had it scheduled for the evening. Made some adjustments and came at 12.

Won’t give any information over the phone. Won’t even provide what type of treatments they give. If you don’t want to quote over the phone that’s fine, I get wanting to verify it. To not just answer basic questions on what type of treatment you provide? Just sounds like you don’t want business if you can’t help homeowners questions.

Signed a contract with Orkin when a previous pest company could never permanently rid our wasp problem around our house. They were building up nests behind the eaves of my house and previous pest company could never get rid of the entire colony. I was worried that they would eventually cause structural damage. Two visits with Orkin and they were permanently gone without needing to pull the soffit off of my house. We now have Orkin come do periodic pest control around our place. They are a bit more expensive than my previous company, but the problems they come across actually get eradicated. Fast forward to about 1.5 months ago, we discovered a bedbug problem downstairs. They have a wonderful, experienced staff; and they have come out a few times to further inspect and treat areas as we come across stray bedbugs. The treatment is not cheap and there is a substantial amount of prep work to be done by the home owner. But they have been easy and professional to work with. I don’t think I’d bother with any other company. Thanks Orkin! And special thanks to Richard and Jeremy.

The person who has been treating my house for pests is Zoe. He is such a friendly person, very easy to like. He does a thorough job and has been able to rid my house of mice and keep other pests at bay.

Terrible guy showed up saw him on my camera, also received a text. I waited for him by the back door for 15 min. I saw him on his phone. Went to put my shoes on came back and he was gone. Then they sent this review like he showed up. I also rescheduled they didn’t show.

Not a good company - bad service - bad support - no way to contact the - they how up and give you no options to an actual appointment and there is no way to cancel. Most important, their bug sprays are inneffective. Buy some spray from Home Depot and avoid these scammers.

It has happened twice now where they give us a time they are supposed to arrive (usually a two hour window) and never show up. I usually then get a call over an hour(+) later stating they have to come on another day to do our service. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional!

They used to have good service, but the last three appointments in a row they haven’t shown up for and I end up waiting around all day for them with zero communication, and no one ever answering the phone either to find out what is going on. I end up having to call and reschedule my appointment which is usually booked out for weeks, and then they still don’t show. Can’t really have good service if you guys don’t even bother to show up at all.

Sent the home inspector to my home because we heard mice in the basement ceiling and wanted to avoid an infestation. Had Keleaf come out for a follow up and he found the entry point immediately. Unfortunately, we already have a full infestation at this point that the initial home inspector did not catch even though that’s his job! When I called to have a follow up appointment and asked for someone to come out that day, I was told I had to wait an entire weekend until they could come investigate the mice infestation. I had to turn off power to the vents in my house for 3 days to wait for them. They assured me I would have a follow up and a new home inspection don’t the same day. I called to check to see if the new home inspector was coming, only to find out it was not scheduled as previously stated. He didn’t come that day at all and then was scheduled to come the following day. I also called the local office multiple times and every time I was rerouted to a call center. Terrible treatment of customers. I initially picked Orkin because they had the most and best reviews, but I’m not sure where they got the great reviews from because this location office is terrible. Keleaf is the only shining light out of the whole situation!

Would leave zero stars if I could. I own a duplex and did a move out inspection Sunday for one of the units being recently vacated. The prior tenants left cockroaches! They never told us about them. I called orkin because they were one of the only pest companies open on Sundays. I called and the rep was kind and I explained it is a duplex with roaches and we need both sides treated asap. She scheduled us for the next day. This included initial treatment and every other month maintenance. Day of, I called to confirm I would be notified when the tech was on the way, and I paid for the every other month maintenance up front ($754!) Upon the tech arriving, I was told they can’t treat both units as one because each unit has a different address. They said when I called on Sunday I spoke with a contact center in Atlanta and they don’t know the rules and regulations in Utah (not my fault) and they have to split the account in two in order to treat both sides (It’s roaches!! We can’t treat just one side!) I explained I just paid for a years worth of maintenance and I do not want to pay more. They said they would just take the amount and split it between the two units. After an ordeal talking on the phone with management while the tech and I were on site we finally got the go ahead to treat the whole property . The tech was very knowledgeable and awesome. This review is not a reflection of him. It’s the administrative piece dealing with the office… anyway after he treated he said they would contact me to schedule a 3 day follow up. They never did. Online I can see a pending charge on my account for $231 for one unit and $115.50 for the other. I called customer service yesterday (Thursday). She scheduled the follow up for me for Friday 630 am to 730 am. She explained they aren’t charging me more - I paid up front for the every other month service and the $231 is for the initial but it will be split in two ($115.50 per unit). I said okay, but today I have been charged $231 + $115.50 + the $754??? I also haven’t heard from them (it’s now almost 8 am). I texted the tech and he doesn’t have my property on his route. I called the local office, no answer. This seems like an ultimate nightmare on top of dealing with nightmare situation the prior tenants left us in. Do not recommend orkin ever. Huge national company with office staff not knowledgeable. I should not be routed to a call center where the rep doesn’t know the rules and regulations for my state!! Again, inconsistent billing and what I’m being charged is different than what I am being told. There are still roaches! Desperately need the follow up treatment but have no idea what’s going on. Currently have a vacant unit I can’t rent out so I am out that money. Last couple notes - we have had pest control here before with other companies and have never had an issue with billing because of the unit addresses. Also, again, the tech himself was awesome - I hope he can find a better company to work with because based on how orkin handled all of this it made a bad situation worse for us. Awful customer experience and will be seeing if I can get some money refunded and will be finding a different pest company.

Service has gone downhill. We’ve been a customer for 10yrs but the past 2yrs has been a joke. The troubled areas have not treated properly and when I’ve brought it to their attention, they said there has been turnover and employees haven’t received the necessary training. If you know training is an issue, why are you not providing this necessary training fort to avoid customer impact and risk reputation of your brand? Other issue is tardiness. They provide a two hour window and the past two times they were late. Almost a third time today as they called 20 minutes before the end of the two hour window and said they would be late. If I didn’t say this was unacceptable, they would have been over 20 minutes late. They showed up 10 minutes before the two window expired. We work from home and have scheduled meetings that can’t be interrupted. Be professional And show up on time. If you’re going to be late, send a different technician. You have two hours to show up and do your job effectively and efficiently. I will be canceling our long term contract.

The person that actually performed the service did their job as expected. Orkin’s scheduling is horrible! I received a reminder yesterday that the service was today between 2 - 4. The tech was informed to be here between 10 -12. I work at home and am in meetings all day long. Unexpected interruptions are not okay.
