Thorn Pest Control is the best. They helped me with a very difficult pest situation. I had been trying for weeks to take care of this problem on my own and never had any good results. Friendly guys, but they do nothing. My apartment has had roaches for months now. They've been out to my area (hall) twice in the past 2 months and have NEVER yet sprayed. Roaches multiply like crazy. They have now moved into 3 other apartments and still no spray. My neighbor is a very clean person, always vigilant, but now she's sleeping with the lights on at night because the investigation is so bad.

We absolutely want to get this resolved for you and your neighbors!<br><br>German cockroaches can be challenging to control in multi-family housing because they do multiply so quickly, also can easily move between units and when residents self treat using over-the-counter sprays, it can actually repel and spread the cockroaches further, making control more difficult.<br><br>We use professional- grade baits, dusts, and targeted products to help us gain control over the cockroach population. This does not always mean  visible “spraying.” Different units and situations require a unique approach. If you or your neighbors continue to see cockroaches, please notify your manager immediately so they can schedule us to come back for a follow-up service.

I have had Thorne do my pest control for more than 20 years. I have been pleased with the service until recently. I have now cancelled my service and I will find a new provider. My concern with Thorne is the lack of notice for treatments. Today they showed up expecting to do an interior treatment. They provided no notice and just expected me to be home whenever they showed up. This isn’t the first time this situation has occurred. I expect a service company to provide service to me rather than them expecting me to be of service to them. Don’t use Thorn if you expect to be treated with courtesy and respect for your time!

Comes do to apartments suddenly got bed bugs they came to spray but we still have them for over months they seem to die but then they come back to inspect and suddenly we have them again after they leave like they plant them

Be warned you will spend hundreds of dollars a year for sticky traps and bug spray that doesn’t work. EXTREMELY unsatisfied with the service. I had intially called for issues with mice. I was told a whole treatment plan with weekly visits for three weeks and a treatment to stop the mice. Come to find out their entire treatment plan is to POINT at an entry way and say this needs to be sealed and then lay some sticky traps down. They refuse to put poison anywhere. And when you need them to come back for another ‘treatment’ it’s to simply look for more entry points and to put some more sticky traps. The bug spray was an added bonus and even that didn’t work. Weeks after they sprayed I killed four spiders in a single morning yet it’s supposed to last an entire quarter. The tech himself was very kind and professional but the company, their policies and the product as a whole is wrong. Ive had other companies in the past do a more effective job and buying some poison and traps at the store is a lot cheaper.

We have been loyal customers of Thorn Pest Solutions for over 17 years—dating back to their days as Spider Spray. We’ve always appreciated their service, which is why we recently hired them to handle pest control and prevention at our commercial property. Unfortunately, after seven months of service, we are extremely disappointed with the results and responsiveness. We’ve seen little evidence of actual prevention—most notably, swarms of bees on our property that have yet to be addressed or even documented properly. We were told to wait two weeks from the last service before they could return, only to be told to wait an additional 10 days when they would arrive to followed up. For a longstanding and committed client, this kind of delay is incredibly frustrating and concerning—especially when the issue poses potential safety and liability risks. We expected better communication, follow-through, and most of all, results. It’s disheartening to feel overlooked after years of trust and loyalty. Buyer beware. These services are limited and not reliable.

Thorne Pest Control – A Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I looked through their reviews prior to posting this and used AI to go through their best reviews looking for signs that they were fake and/or written by the same person. AI flagged more than 7 that fell into this category. Thorne Pest Control in Pleasant Grove, Utah, failed spectacularly in addressing my mole infestation, delivering subpar service and demonstrating a troubling lack of integrity. My experience with this company, particularly with the owner’s apparent indifference to customer satisfaction, has led me to question their commitment to honest and effective pest control. From the outset, communication was abysmal. My initial inquiries went unanswered for days, and it was only out of desperation that I proceeded with their service. They provided no specific time window for their visit—just a vague promise of a service date. After the first treatment, I scheduled a follow-up, as moles typically require 2-3 treatments. However, their scheduling practices are either incompetent or deliberately exploitative. They insisted on a two-week wait for the next visit, despite industry standards clearly indicating that mole treatments must be reapplied within 7-10 days to prevent population resurgence. Unsurprisingly, the mole problem worsened within a week, with more activity than before. When I urgently requested an earlier follow-up, I was met with excuses and told to wait another week. This delay renders their service ineffective and suggests a business model designed to maximize billable treatments rather than solve the problem. Their customer service, while superficially polite, was utterly ineffective—empty words paired with zero action. As the saying goes, “Your actions speak so loudly, I cannot hear your words.” After significant frustration, they refunded my $200 initial payment, but this did little to mitigate the setback. Three weeks later, the mole population has only grown, seemingly unaffected by whatever treatment was applied. The company’s numerous negative reviews echo my experience, painting a clear picture of systemic issues. Thorne Pest Control, under its current OWNER, appears more focused on profiting from prolonged infestations than delivering results. This is not a lasting business model. Hopefully my YouTube review I will put together today and post tomorrow will alert many in the area that are/were considering calling them. I strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere for reliable pest control. Save your time, money, and sanity—avoid this company.

Never disclosed how soon we have to finish the treatment. We started in December for 3 treatments and called today for my third and last visit. They said the time for this plan is expired and would have to restart. In the last call they did not inform me if my plan would have expired. I expect when I pay over 300 dollars for a pest plan my "treatment" doesn't expire.

We have used Thorne Pest Solutions since 2012. We love the service people and their organic spray. I would love to keep using their service in the future but this year we could not afford it. The people in the office sent someone out to give us the service without my permission, when we were not home, then proceeded to charge us anyways. I called the office and after talking to two different people, I was told that I had signed a contract that stated that it gave them permission to do so. In years past someone would call ahead of time and asked if we wanted the service. The office told me they did not do that. I asked for a copy of my contract and they still have not been able to produce one. We were not rude on the phone but firm in not being charged. At the end of the conversation the lady stated that we were being rude and that if we were not to be billed, we would no longer be allowed to be customers then hung up on me. It is too bad that this happened because, like I said I loved the service. I am sure the owner would not approve but he seems to be unreachable. I would still like to work this out, but the lady on the phone was very rude and she was the manager.

Not upfront with their costs and terrible customer sercive. They charge a $100 inspection fee, which I was willing to pay, except all their “inspection” is, someone visits the house, looks at where we were redoing our living room floor, glances at our yard, and nothing else. We were given an estimate of $499-$1,300 plus $30 monthly (a rough estimate that heavily implied they could tack on extra fees and services as they please). People would do better going with another company
