Pest Wranglers, specifically Steve and Channing, have been servicing my homes since 2017. They are always professional, friendly, and truly care about keeping us free of creepy crawlers. I trust them completely in my home - they’re great with kids and dogs too! I have not felt loyalty to a pest control company until Pest Wranglers. I will keep them for many years to come. I highly recommend them for all your applicable needs.

We’ve been Pest Wrangler customers since we moved to the Austin area in 2014. They are fantastic, here’s a few of the reasons we enjoy being a customer: - They are professional and courteous. They lock our gate after every service which far exceeds my own gate-closing record. - They leave a biscuit for our dog, which is always appreciated. - Texas has a lot of bugs, our house has no bugs. Pest Wranglers has taken care of wasp nests I had no idea existed. - They are experts on all things pest related. If you have a problem they absolutely will have a solution. If they only did taxes… - It’s a locally owned business and Steve (the owner) is extremely customer oriented, as-is everyone on his team. In all seriousness, they are excellent!

I reached out today because I have had concerns with our service for weeks now, but today I just needed to voice my frustration over the situation. The response I received from the owner, Steve, was shocking to say the least. I myself am a business owner that deals with customer service on a daily basis. I will admit that there are certain complaints that I may not necessarily agree with, but I always listen and validate my customers concerns with dignity and respect. The vacuum just stopped working Sunday, so not the absolute problem. Owner: Ariel I appreciate you contacting us about this, but you went from "considering" to canceling" in the same email without giving us a chance to explain. First, that you for your business in the past and changing companies is obviously your decision to make. Blake is an excellent tech and does not take short cuts like skipping chemical measurement. We don't charge for the amount of time spent at a pool. Rather we charge for the job. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to an hour, but more often it tale 10-15 minutes provided the pool has been properly maintained previously. Filter pressure varies by filter type as well as how dirty/clean the filter is. While your filter may read 10 directly after a cleaning the pressure will rise as the filter collects contaminents. The presence of algae would suggest that it is time for a filter cleaning, but it could also be the result of less than optimal circulation. As Blake is paid extra for filter cleaning I am certain he would jump at the chance to make extra money by cleaning yours if needed. You mentioned your pool sweeper is broken and that is a pivotal component of pool maintenance as it not only scrubs walls and steps between services it also helps circulate water especially from the floor of the pool. Unless we hear otherwise from you we will stop your pool service at end of day today Steve Hunt Me: This is an unexpected response from a business owner as I am one myself. Your response gives the tone that none of our complaints are valid and that we are in the wrong and need to not voice our concerns. Very eye opening to why the pool service is lacking professionalism. Owner: Sorry you feel that way, but I'm not sure what you want to hear. I read your concerns and addressed them. I am not sorry that my technician did his job and you did not heed the advice given not only by Blake, but by me as well, to keep toys out of the pool when it is not in use because it might damage your vacuum. Now your vacuum is broken and you are blaming us for your pool not getting the proper cleaning that the vacuum should handle. If you cowtow to your customers for the sake of a dollar that is your business. I'm backing my people when they have done nothing wrong. We have great reviews that state clearly how well we do our jobs. I have canceled your pest service as well. Me: On a side note, a simple amicable response validating my concerns, without accusatory and disrespectful behavior would have gone a long way. I don't know exactly what the comment about catering to customers for a dollar is supposed to reference as I never brought up any concerns about money. All I was hoping to do was inform you about concerns I had with my service. That was an incredibly quick jump to being hateful. I'm not sure where that came from as we have always been able to communicate well together, but all is well. Wish you all the best and hope your day gets better. Owner: There is no hostility. I hold no grudge. You are free to spend your money where you choose just not with us with the exception of your April invoice which is still outstanding and will have a late charge added to it if not paid by the end of the month. When you write your review be sure to include the part where I explained the situation, but that wasnt good enough for you because I will in my response. Further, be sure to review your pool service as you have had no issues with pest control. Otherwise I will be forced to contact the review service to have the review removed. Folks, this is the original email she sent. As she cancelled her pool service I'm not sure what I a supposed to do. Am I to send the technician back to a house where we are not wanted? I addressed every concern she had with an explanation. We have excellent reviews because our technicians do their job properly. If they make a mistake I will certainly own that mistake and make it right, but I will back my people when they have done their job correctly. It's what sets us apart from other companies and why our customers get great service from happy people. <br><br>"This is Ariel Sutton at (address redacted) in Pflugerville. I'm reaching out because I've had some concerns recently with the quality of service we are receiving regarding our pool cleaning. I've waited to mention anything in hopes that maybe it was just a one off for a few weeks, but I think it's important for you to know. I have seriously been considering switching cleaning companies because of the quality. Today, I was home when your staff arrived. I happened to check the time when he arrived and with no exaggeration, he was back in his truck "finished" within 11 minutes. My concern is that he isn't spending enough time making sure the pool isn't having issues and everything is running properly. He dipped the pool with his net, brushed some of the sides in less than 2 minutes and dropped two chlorine tablets in chlorinator. I never saw him check any chemicals, but maybe I missed that. I just feel like he's rushing through it and not getting a good clean. I happened to notice last week that the pressure seemed incredibly low on the spill over. I checked the pressure valve, and it was reading 25 psi and we usually run closer to 10. I realized the filters needed to be cleaned, so I cleaned them and pressure is back to normal. My question is, is that not something that you would typically check for a pool owner during routine maintenance? Also, my vacuum had broken and I had to vacuum manually. While doing so, I found that there was a lot of algae buildup on all of the walls and steps. It seems more so than what would have been expected from the pool getting brushed thoroughly on a weekly basis. Because of these concerns, I have decided that I will try to find a new company that better fits my needs. I do appreciate all of the service in the past, but will need to cancel any future services, please. "
Steve is very thorough in his inspection and gives a lot of good information. I appreciated his honesty and candor. He seems to genuinely want to help with whatever pest issue you may be having. He's not going to sell you a solution you don't need.

Incredible fast service. I have used Pest Wranglers for insects and rodent control for over 15 years residential and commercial. They have taken care of every challenge I have given them from mice in the attic to a snake in the room. Steve came to my home and within minutes found how the mice were getting in and solved our problems. Don’t go with anyone else! I have them come to my home every time I have moved. Moved here from Seattle (rats and hornets). None of the big bugs y’all have here! I was in a panic. Channing, who made the appointment, calmed me right down. Blake showed up, was so kind and walked me through what to expect, got rid of the bugs &, nests etc. My first experience with people in Texas - more than an excellent exterminator co, amazing customer service and so kind.
