Always very thorough and timely

I had a very disappointing experience with GroGreen. Their customer service has been extremely poor from start to finish. Over the past 12 months, I’ve spent more than $800 on their lawn care service, expecting my lawn to improve. Instead, it has become yellow, unhealthy, and poorly maintained. The results speak for themselves. Despite paying for lawn care annually, my lawn was never properly maintained. Instead of improving, it became yellow and unhealthy. To make matters worse, I was charged twice for the same service. When I contacted customer service, they acknowledged the duplicate charge and promised to issue a refund. Unfortunately, that refund never came, and I had to keep following up without getting a resolution. Poor lawn care, billing issues, broken promises, and lack of customer support make it hard to recommend this company. I expected a professional lawn care service, but instead received frustration and wasted time. I would not use GroGreen again and recommend others carefully consider their options before signing up.

We have had GroGreen maintain my lawn for about 5 years now. ILawn looks great. Techs are always on time and perform the services needed without issue.

Update: Cancelled service July 1. Needed to re-sod about 25% of my front lawn and back lawn looks like crap. The technician assigned to my yard is clueless beyond pushing a spreader or spraying a hose. I thought I was hiring a company with trained people. I was wrong. !! 5/20/26 - Update - Just spoke with Shawn and he will put together a game plan to remedy this situation. I will review again at a later date and hopefully will be delighted to give a 4 or 5 star rating. 5/19/26 I called two separate times to MAKE CERTAIN they were NOT continuing to use nitrogen fertilizer (even the day before they came out(5-18-26) . They assured me no fertilizer Clueless on what NOT TO DO with a lawn with brown spot / fungus. Pictures 1 & 2 with problem. Pictures 3 & 4 after months of treatment (nitrogen fertilizer is the WORST thing to use!!) Not only killing my grass, but now, going into the neighbors property. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 1. Poor communications internally (phone people are good, but apparently it ends there) 2. untrained service people or just don't care (Tiger , the exception) One service person (Tiger) was previously sent to fertilize and didn't do it after seeing the fungus. Hats off to him !!! From the grass experts........ "you should generally avoid applying nitrogen fertilizer while your lawn is actively battling a fungal disease. Applying nitrogen (especially quick-release) forces rapid, lush new growth, which is highly susceptible to disease and can cause the fungus to spread exponentially"

Started GroGreen services about 2 years ago because my neighbor used them and his lawn was always perfectly green without weeds. Now my lawn has the same look! Our yard has many different sun/shade levels, types of grass it’s never looked better!

Yesterday I filled out the online form and Haley Rico from GroGreen called me right away. She was very nice and friendly from the start, making the whole conversation feel easy and comfortable. Haley took the time to clearly explain all my options for lawn fertilization as well as pest control for the house. She was knowledgeable, patient, and really helped me understand what would work best for my yard and home. She also put together a great bundled deal for both services, which saved me money and the hassle of working with two different companies. It’s such a relief to have everything handled under one umbrella with GroGreen. I was really impressed with the level of customer service I received. Haley made the process simple, straightforward, and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend Haley Rico and GroGreen to anyone looking for lawn care and home pest control. She’s a fantastic representative and made me feel like a valued customer. Thank you, Haley – I’ll definitely be using your services again! Highly satisfied and happy to give this a full 5 stars!

Easy and affordable.

My original appt was for Tuesday, no-show and no call. Was rescheduled for Friday. No heads up call so I was not at the house when tech showed up, so I didn't get to put my dogs inside. Otherwise, service itself was good and lawn looks great. Just need better communication.

Have used Grogreen for almost 8 years. That will end today. My backyard looks so bad, I asked for a Manager to come see it in June (2026). Daniel came out, gave a few suggestions. I did the seed, fertilizer, extra water, etc. )I make them get a pre-auth verbally before any work is performed because I've had my doubts about service). Got a message they'd be here June 24th. Left back gate unlocked all day, no show. Got another message they'd be here June 26th, unlocked back gate again. My roommate is currently unemployed, so home all day. She called me at work and they came long enough to stick a sign in the yard. Other side of the sidewalk by the street. She reviewed our camera footage. Never worked in the yard, back or front. So that relationship ends today. Beware.

Marcus Z has done an amazing job maintaining the landscape at our house. We have three types of grass which definitely keeps him on his toes. He always rings the doorbell and lets me know what he plans on applying and makes sure I don’t have any concerns to discuss. 25 plus years using GroGreen and they haven’t failed me yet. Thanks Marcus!

The customer service here is genuinely terrible. You will never get a straight answer from scheduling : no calls before service, no follow-up after. If you try to reach customer care, be prepared to wait on hold forever. Forget about warranty treatment, you will be lucky if your regular scheduled service is on time. The agents often have no idea where the service crew is or when they'll show up, and only occasionally do you get someone competent enough to actually help. The pattern is hard to miss: when they want your business, they'll call you day and night. Once they've pocketed your money, they vanish. Trying to get a response feels like talking to a black hole. I'd think twice before giving them your business.

Was a GroGreen customer for years, when we canceled our service it removed the autopay we had on file and I guess there was still a balance on the account after the cancellation. They sent the bill to collections and it dinged my credit report over a $100. Why not just call me? Your consequences have actions.

Good service but technician needs to call 15-20 minutes ahead of arrival.

I really tried with this company. I asked pest control to do indoor and outdoor. They came without informing me and I saw them outside, they only did the front yard and not the back yard. I've followed up calling 3 times to get it rescheduled for the backyard and indoors, I called once a week and they kept telling me someone would call. No call. 1st call was like oh so sorry let me check on this and figure it out then call you back - no callback 2nd call - oh so sorry ill have them call you soon 3rd call (3rd week) - oh so sorry the ticket didn’t get created in the system ill create it now - a week later nothing. To be fair the grass guy was really nice and did a great job. But I do not want to have to call just to get what is part of the service done.

GroGreen has done a fantastic job on our Lawn! In addition to their regular services we had to ask them for help in controlling a persistent fungus that kept leaving spots on our grass. When we first had the problem they sent one of their Supervisors to look into it and temporarily changed our program to deal with the problem by spraying anti-fungus and getting rid of it. They have been very responsive to our needs and I would highly recommend their services.
