Ryan knocked on our door and helped us out with setting up service. Didn’t think I needed professional service but after seeing the red ants around my new build home I opted to go with them. He worked with us and got us a great deal. A bunch of other homes in our Painted Tree community also get service from Romex which is a good sign. Got our first treatment done yesterday and I already see a big change. If you’re looking for pest control these are the guys!

The techs are trained well. There hasn't been an issue that a solution wasn't provided. The techs are very professional and polite. They seem interested in solving any pest problem and always ask if we want the inside treated as well.

Horrible service, there was never a day when i had a big free yard, i paid 200$ to get one time service and 30 days warranty, i called in after treatment because there were bugs and i was told to wait for 10 days, there was no improvement, they sent someone over and he did it again but i saw multiple spiders, wasps the very 3 rd of the service and by the time i waited for another 10days, my time period for 30 days was over. Not effective at all, no improvement inside and outside the house, I wouldnt recommend it!

I Don’t like my lawn being rode on with your scooter nor no solicitor sign ignored; I understand you are alerting neighbors you are doing work I have done my due diligence and no I won’t be recommending you.

Blew past no trespassing no soliciting sign in yard then knocked directly on no soliciting sign on door. No respect at all avoid unless you like sleazy used car tactics. If you do then this horrible company is for you.

I would avoid using this over priced company. I recently had a free termite inspection and upon that review the tech said he saw ‘signs’ of activity. So trusting his evaluation I signed a contract to treat the activity in which it would cost around $2,000. Not a small chunk of money. After he left I really thought through what he explained and thought I needed to get a 2nd opinion. Now Romex really wanted to get that installation done quickly…less than 12 hours after the inspection. I called and told them to not install and i was going to get a 2nd opinion. I then had terminex come and do an inspection and the guy did a very very thorough inspection on my home and property. Romex spent maybe 15 mins just on the exterior. After the review Terminex was very honest and forthright. After sharing his findings I showed him what Romex said were signs and honestly the guy laughed and said they were not signs and were impossible considering where they were (top of my fence). I then explained my situation to him and he said what I thought which it was a scam. To add fuel to the fire I asked what they charged for the same service I was going to get done thru Romex and he said $400! Yep $400! That is a $1,600 difference. Just in spite of the situation I told terminex to install it for peace of mind. Point is DO NOT use these thieves. I have my ‘pest’ done thru them for now and as soon as my contract is over I am cancelling. I rarely post reviews but felt the need to share this so that others do not get sold something they do not need and over pay. Again DO NOT use Romex!

Sales man came to my door today. I told him I was NOT interested about 5 times and he would not listen to me. I finally had to shut the door in his face. As much as I would love to pay for an additional service, I cannot afford to with the economy at the moment. I would love to be taken off the soliciting list, if someone could please contact me!

Worst customer service ever, when you sign up, they will say they will cover. Everything means not bugs in your home. They Don’t do proper job. I’ve been paying a lot of money for two different house. Stay AWAY FROM ROMEX. They are Here for steal your money, not fix your issues.

I want to highlight that even though regularly serviced am seeing some spiders and lot of earwigs, and that is so frustrating as we are paying alot and we have to bind in contract for total year 😔, you can't even get out of contract and if you want you need to pay 250$ 😔, not happy with the price too.

Had my first service so far so good! Update: Two months into this contract, I paid for two visits and let them know that we are getting bit up night and day now. This has not ever happened to us in all the yrs here in McKinney. Romex says, they don’t “cover” these bugs and it will cost $100 more to treat. REALLY!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY from romex they over charge and then want more $$ when you are having issues. My contract was quarterly, I called them back the 2nd month and they charged me again (even though this should have been covered with the first service). Once I explained our issues, they said m, they want more $$ to cover our bugs issues. Once I heard this I canceled! Then a cancelation fee to cancel??? when THEY made bugs matters worse just to make more money off us. I was with Precision pest control for yrs hadn’t had this problem. UNETHICAL company, stay far away!! They don’t care about their customers, only the bottom $$.

We have had a horrible experience with Romex Pest control over the summer. They product was useless --they are using subpar chemicals that are intentionally diluted. Half the time their technicians never showed up as promised. Or, when they did show up they appeared to do a very brief, inexcusably incompetent level of treatment. We got fed up after 3--4 occasions, changing the technician who came out, and additional unethical actions by the company. We told them we were cancelling the account due to their inability to perform services as "promised". We would have "walked away" with no issue, however they chose to charge our credit card--without our authorization for $250. When we had signed up for their service we were NEVER informed of this and we were told we could cancel anytime. We will be contacting an attorney to pursue legal action. We want to warn anyone/everyone to AVOID this company at alo l cost, as they are unethical and the quality of their product and work, is substandard. Please beware of this company and avoid them at all cost.
