Berrett Pest, HVAC and Plumbing

This has got to be one of the worst services ever. I can’t even get in touch with anyone to cancel my services. Don’t use them.

Tiffany helped my 84 year old mother with plumbing services she allowed my mom to tell her stories she did not rush her off the phone! Great customer service very professional gave my mom bit piece of mind with her Plumbing issues Tiffany is the reason why I will keep using this company for Plumbing. Robert did amazing job in walking through the process with my mom!

Chaotic crooks. Moved into house four months ago. Had a highly trusted, very thorough home inspector check everything with special attention to HVAC, and then had Community Mechanical come out to do service and full inspection a month later. Both parties reported HVAC system was in great shape. Had a smell coming from the HVAC after the winter storm & Berrett said for $10/mo they’d do free service calls to check it out and do two inspections a year. So had them come out to inspect the system and find the source of the smell. Berrett then proceeds to send me a write up that I need $7k worth of HVAC work ***emphasis the just four months prior, two separate inspectors said $0. Berrett says $7k*** Then, the tech found the source of the smell. A dead mouse by the unit in the crawl space. He told my friend who I had at the house while I was at work. It was assumed that he fixed the issue. Next day, smell is still present. I go into crawl space—find the mouse. So the Tech identified the issue he was called out for. He then did not fix it and even more maddeningly, did not tell us that he did not fix it. He just took a pic and walked out, then sent a $7k write up of bogus work required (that did not even include dead mouse removal). Scheduling—had an 8a-10a appointment window. After no one showing up, I call at 9:45a to check the status. They said they had had an emergency call in the early morning that was going long so they were not and never would have made it. I asked if they knew at the start of the day that there was no way they would make it, why wouldn’t they call or text me at 7:30. She claimed it’s illegal for them to contact me before 8:30. (Lies, again)I asked then why wouldn’t you call at 8:30, when she clearly knew she have no intention of showing up? Met with silence. Reschedules to a later afternoon slot. Again, 15 minutes before they bust their two hour window, I call and check. Told they will not make it. Then they say they’ll be there at the last slot of day. Welp…no one shows up. And at the end of the day, they finally come clean they no one is going to show up for the appointment and ask to schedule for the following day. Absolutely maddening. Five stars though for flippancy towards the customer. My standard test for home service companies: would I trust them to service my mom’s home? With full conviction I’d answer “absolutely not, never. Run as far and as fast from this outfit as possible.”

Adam H. has serviced our home for over 15yrs and he has always done an excellent job! He is very knowledgeable and great with our dogs when they are out.

One of my studio’s has had a mega flea infestation. With multiple trips from Berrett pest control coming out. Unhappy about the flea issue continuing in there, I called them to reschedule yet again a treatment to get them to come out sooner, she had a Tuesday available yet put me on hold and said they could order something stronger for my issues here but would have to wait until Thursday for it to come in. The guy comes today to spray and guess what he used the same last flea treatment stuff and did not know anything about the stuff they said they where ordering me to be stronger. The whole situation has been annoying. First time he came over he upset my daughter by taking active fleas into her house from the flea infested studio where she had to get a hotel for 3 days because she suddenly had a lot of fleas. Of course reasonable if they are hiding and the flea treatment brought them out, but since he was picking them off his body and throwing them down in her house it overwhelmed her anxiety level. I am not unsatisfied but I am also not satisfied with the treatments. I have had to buy additional stuff on my own to spray and put out many times between treatments as well because the spray didn’t work enough to keep hundreds of fleas off each leg after 3 now 4 treatments. I know you need to vacuum and clean up after each treatment as well but it was to severe to even do that. Will see how it is after today’s treatments. But I am not happy about being flat out lied to about ordering stuff that would work better on such a bad infestation.

We want to reach out to Willie D at Berrett Pest Control for doing a great job today. We were asked with a text from Berrett to rate Willie D with 5 stars and he would get a bonus. We did rate him with 5 stars because he did a great job. HE DID NOT GET HIS BONUS so shame on Berret for lying to get a 5 star rating!

I forgot his name, but I have a photo of him. This gentleman was very professional, attentive, and polite. I felt comfortable and reassured the whole time. His service really left me with a great impression, and it shows how reliable this company is.

Charley has helped us out big time! We’ve had multiple leaks in our water lines throughout our attic. Charley has been able to get out to us fast same day each time we were having problems. Once he arrived he was able to assess the issue find the leak and fix it fast! Thanks Charley!

Technician never arrived. I called to get update and technician stated he was told by leadership of an unknown meeting that would cause him not to be at our scheduled appointment at 8. Customer service representative stated there is always a two hour window(8-10am) but technician still wouldn’t be onsite at 10am. Never pay $40 reservation fee due to this company’s lack of commitment of showing up on time and doing the work in the agreed time slot. New appointment scheduled for a show time at 9am; not a show time between 9-11? Leaders and management, customers DO NOT want a two hour we may show up window. Show up at a designated time.

Nick with Barrett was very professional, courteous and quickly analyzed the problem. Need a new water heater and will be back k to replace tomorrow. Highly recommend.
