Around the Block Pest Control

Birds made a big nest in the exhaust vent of the bathroom. The vent pipe had to be replaced and the opening made inaccessible. It was a very expensive job but it took 4 hrs and no damage was done to the house. Only four stars because communication could have been better.

The guys here at Around The Block are awesome. We've been working with Irvin and his work is stellar. We had a significant problem with vermin getting into the attic and Irvin came out and sealed up eight ports of entry for these critters! He has been back out weekly (at no extra charge) just to make sure their party is over. And on top of that, they were wildly less expensive than other companies in the area. I highly recommend Around The Block.

Great service for a fair price. Irvin had great advance commination and constant updates on timing throughout the day.

Hired for pest and rodent control boxes and refill they promised refills of bait boxes. Charged me 50$ per box and I got 6 of them plus the rely service. Despite multiple calls never showed up for re service. Ended up cancelling as this business is competitive if you cannot provide basic service I’ll go elsewhere simple. I always try to give first chance to a local business before going to a corporation but I still expect service infact better service from a small local business.

Edit: 1 year into it, I will say Phillip, Ervin, and John really run a great organization. The professionalism, care, accommodating nature, and family friendly nature really sets them apart. Wow Ervin was the nicest, most informative, pleasant servicer. Amazing customer service from appt to service.

I had a great experience with Irvin. He was knowledgeable and professional . He helped me pick the perfect option within my budget. The process was smooth and hassle-free. I had a raccoons in the attic. He was able to trap them all and seal up the holes way ahead of schedule. The customer service is excellent , supportive, and stress-free. I look forward to working with Around the Block in the future.

Whenever an issue came up, he didn’t just brush it off, he came out to the property multiple times to make sure everything was actually resolved, not just “good enough.” That kind of follow-through is rare these days. Around the Block was a great company!! I had just moved in and saw that i had bees nest. Irvin were so quick to respond, came out the next day, explained the overall process, was very friendly, thorough. The company truly cares for it's clients and Irvin did a great job there.

After many google searches to get rid of a wasp infestation in our chimney, I came across great reviews for Around The Block Pest Control and it all matched up! They came the next day, inspected the area, proposed a solution, fogged our fireplace/chimney on the spot and next thing we know we no longer have wasps coming into the house. We worked with Irvin and he was so kind and knowledgeable about the situation. He came back two days later to make sure the spray took effect and there was no longer a problem and he plans to come again next week for a final inspection. We ended up signing on for a quarterly pest service to avoid these types of issues in the future and because they were so great to work with. 10/10!!

Irvin was super informative, communicative, and helpful. He was timely and gave a lot of insight on our pest issues. He put rodent traps in our attic, sprayed inside and outside, and fogged our backyard.

John, Philip and the entire Around the Block team are nothing short of professional, timely, and wonderful communicators. They take care of any pest issues that come up quickly and go above and beyond. We have an Airbnb and they remember to always make sure there are no guests before going on the property. They are incredible and always show up when they say they will. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend, definitely go with them, you’ll be glad you did!

Irvin was very prompt and informative! He was able to come out the next day and start our pest/rodant control service. My husband and I have a very busy work schedule and he was very accommodating. We are extremely happy with Around The Block Pest Control!

They like to put out door hangers on doors what clean "No Soliciting" signs on them. You can't trust a seedy business like this and they will never get out business..Shame on you!

They don’t even respond for the calls and voice messages. Poor service.

These people are horrible so please run. I could give them no star if it were possible. They don’t have an answering service and if they ever return your call, the lady is so rude and have no regard for customers and if you ever have an issue, they will not come to you until over a week. Please for you own safety, just keep moving

Used a door to door sales person from to solicit pest control. I really did not need the work. Rep asked if we would like to try it. They locked me into a contract. They charged my card without my permission. I never gave them my new card. Becky was the absolute worst, I just pray and hope no one else gets sucked into this mess. 100% guarantee is a joke, no answer when I call, no response at all. Service never corrected the problem, My attorney asked if I had my no soliciting sign was at the front door, it was and now we are going after these crooks.

They will never call back nor pick the phone up.

Used a door to door sales person from Utah to solicit pest control. I needed some wasp nests removed and mouse traps so I said yes. Salesman said “we just ask you try us for a year”. Didn’t realize that locked me into a contract. When I called to cancel they wanted $256. Here is the best part they charged my new Visa card without my permission. I never gave them my new Visa after trying to cancel. The lady in accounts receivables is relentless. Texts calls emails. Then they just found a way to charge my new Visa card. Do your own pest control don’t do business with them unless you want to be locked in.

Not happy with this company and really believe the reviews are false as well. When the tech originally came to my door, I was sleeping. I recently moved into my home and noticed I had spiders, crickets. I signed up for the services with hopes of things getting better. Well it did not. The spiders and Crickets have tripled in my home and outside of my home. I emailed the company to inform that I wanted to cancel the services because there treatments did not work. I was told they would come back out and spray again. I declined. This is the Second time the exterior of home had been sprayed now we are living with spiders and crickets. The tech NEVER told me the problem would get worse before better. This is to much money to give to a company that will increase your trouble. I have attached the communication from one of there employees and obviously she got an attitude when it is me that has to live with the problem. I knew of the cancellation fee, but I did not know my home would triple in bugs. Save your money and time. Shut your door on them and keep it moving. #WRONGHOUSEAROUNDTHEBLOCKPESTCONTROL#

I always had tough time to schedule a visit .I have to call sales guy to have somebody answer my call .You will end up spending too much of time with them and it is stressful .Never once I had the privilege of anybody from office answering my call .I doubt if they have enough staff to do their regular operations.
