Barefoot Mosquito & Pest Control - Georgetown TX

I have had this company for pest services for about a year. No issues until they came recently and treated the front yard. Then never treated the interior or backyard but sent me a invoice claiming it was a full service as well as charged my credit card on file. I have called for weeks and the operator says they will have someone call me. I have called 4 times and been told the same thing and still no one has called. If you hire this company make sure they do all the work that you are charged for. I don't think that is the first time they have charged me for incomplete work.

Disgusting business practices: I have used this company for two years and great initially as it originated as a small business and was acquired. 1. Ignored voicemails, calls, text messages requesting support 2. Overcharging for service and one of the rare times I was able to speak to someone on the phone, the person told me I was mistakenly charged and she’d take care of it. I’m sure you can guess, it was never taken care of and when I sent a text explaining the issue, I was told they wouldn’t remove the charge and if I don’t pay they’ll just send it to collections and I’ll have to just deal with it. Of course they won’t respond via text or phone now. 3. Technician(s) do not attempt to address documented indoor bug issues (spray outside and leave) despite request for inside help 4. Takes several days to get a service technician to address immediate issues Why give money to a business with unethical practices when pest companies are a dime a dozen?

The slackers at Barefoot do a half effort when they show up at all. They stick you with a subscription and take your money and tell you they can’t cancel it. They never answer the phone. Don’t use them.

I closed my Barefoot Mosquito account last fall and did not realize my card was still on file and active. They debited my card without authorization nor did they email me over the last 6 months saying I owed them (which I did not). I also did not receive a receipt for the charge. When I called them they were impossible to deal with and I could not speak to a manager. I would never recommend them for service.

I was very happy with the results of the pest control treatment. I haven't seen any pests since the treatment was done. Also happy with the way he explained the process to me and answered my questions. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and he didn't seem rushed

Fresh Pest is a dedicated, prompt, responsive, down to earth company. They are professional, yet friendly and put their customers first. We have particularly had a 5 star experience with Ricardo, if we could give him a higher rating, we would. We highly recommend him and the company overall. Thank you for all you do.

I can not say enough good things about Fresh Pest. The owner is incredibly responsive, super knowledgeable and reliable. He will come out for retreats between visits if needed, we back up to a greenbelt so sometimes it is beyond his control when issues arise. Ricardo came out today. When coming to treat our backyard for ants, I also questioned a mosquito issue we just had pop up. He agreed to treat the yard which is typically a very small additional fee but because it is almost the end of the season, he threw it in for us. The chemical solution is animal and children safe. The team is reliable, trustworthy and so kind to my young daughter. I would recommend Fresh Pest to anyone looking for a pest control service.

Super impressed with Fresh Pest! This was the second year using them to kill wasps around the house and DOZENS of cicada killers in the front yard. Friendly, knowledgable and quick to come out to the house. Highly recommend!

Simple and easy job with a very competitive price if you just need one and done treatment. I needed multiple wasp nests knocked down and they were able to do that along with spraying for pests at a very reasonable price. Dane is very nice and easy to work with. Would recommend.

I have been a Fresh Pest customer since 2020 and have been mostly pleased with their work. I had an issue with the live oak in my backyard that suddenly died after a treatment but Fresh Pest worked with me to educate me about the chemicals as well as went to my property to perform a full inspection. I’m working with an arborist to determine the cause of the tree dying but Dane is very knowledgeable about the chemicals and the ones they use are very safe. Also, if you need to get a hold of them text and email work well and their phone hours are 9-6 with a lunch break.

The team at Fresh pest is amazing. Answers questions quickly and has a super easy process for signing up. No salesman trying to upsell services that you don’t need or hidden fees. They treated my yard at the end of the season last year within 3 hours of my call. I called them as soon as I saw the first mosquito this year and they were on it. Quick service and no bugs at a fair price. They are my go to bug guy and I would highly recommend them.
