Higher Ground has been a great find for my lawn care in North Dallas. What sets them apart is how much they actually know about soils in this area and how that affects different grass types — they didn’t just show up with a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. They took the time to understand what we had (a mix of Bermuda, St. Augustine and Zoysia) and tailored their approach specifically for our lawn’s needs, rather than treating it the same as every other yard on the block. Every visit has been handled with diligence and professionalism. Their techs are courteous, show up when they say they will, and clearly take pride in getting the details right. I highly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

Again this year Higher Ground did a great job on the Christmas lights in our large tree. They took time to be sure everything worked and came by one evening to be sure they were done right.The people at Higher Ground are easy to work with and always willing to "fix" something if anything fails. It would be almost impossible to find a better company or people. We have used them for years and are always pleased. Do yourself a favor and use Higher Ground!!

These before and after pictures are roughly one year apart. If this doesn’t speak volumes I don’t know what will. JP and his crews expertise are unmatched. I thought there was no saving this lawn when I first bought this property, but I did some extensive research and ultimately decided on Higher Ground to help me out. His annual plan from scheduling post emergents, pre emergents, fertilizer, top dressing and more is what every homeowner needs if they prioritize a clean lawn. However, his advice in regards to watering and mowing must be taken seriously to achieve the best results. But good news is they stick a to do list on your door after each visit which makes it easy to do. I recommend JP and Higher Ground to anyone and everyone and I can’t wait to continue to see results.

Higher Ground installed lighting for my daughter’s wedding reception at our home. From the moment I called them to the last string of lights being removed, JP and his crew were incredible. Communicative, polite, professional, friendly — they were a delight to work with. And then there was the lighting design — simply magical.
