Attic Construction

We hired Attic Construction to remove our 35 year old cellulose roof insulation and replace it with Owens Corning blown-in fiberglass. The old had compacted down to 6 inches (R11 maybe) and the new was installed to 17 inches (R49). The price was great compared to other quotes we received. The crew showed up on time and was very professional and diligent in their work. The lead tech, Angel, was personable and kept us informed at every step. They identified and screened off every vent and potential animal access point. They sealed up all the gaps in the ductwork and replaced one duct that had deteriorated. They installed rulers to insure at least 17" of insulation all through the attic. And they cleaned up at the end. It was a pleasure to hire this company and Angel's crew did a fantastic job.

They did a decent job. Cleaned up my house very well afterwards. It was $8700 for 2400 square feet of R47 on my 1 story house which I found very reasonable. The only thing I would note is that they air sealed my weep holes in my brick veneer outside, which could cause structural damage by trapping moisture. I removed the seals myself after they left.
