Bought a $1600 stand alone misting fan that lasted only a few years before the pump broke. They explained there was no way to replace just the pump. Ridiculous to sell such a unit that can't be fixed at such an expensive price. mcs quoted now $2000 for a new one.

We're sorry to hear you're disappointed, and we understand how frustrating it is when a major component fails.<br><br>After reviewing your purchase history, we found that the standalone misting fan was purchased approximately five years ago. During that time, the recommended annual maintenance—including pump oil changes and filter replacements—was not performed. Like any high-pressure pump, these maintenance items are important to maximize service life and help prevent premature wear. In addition, annual winterization is essential to protect the pump and plumbing from freeze damage during cold weather, and our records indicate this service was not performed either.<br><br>The high-pressure pump is the most critical and expensive component of the misting fan, and it is not available as a replacement part. Even if it were, the cost of a new pump together with the labor required to install it would exceed the cost of purchasing a new unit. For that reason, replacing the complete unit is the only practical and economical solution.<br><br>Please feel free to contact us directly if you'd like to review your options or have any questions. First off MCS has excellent customer service!! Alix in the front office is very nice and informative. She has been very helpful each time I had questions through this process. The install went smoother than expected and the installers were very knowledgeable and professional. It’s rare to find a company that combines effective service and friendly staff but MCS nailed it. We love our new mosquito system!! I’m normally a magnet to them and I can now finally enjoy my backyard in peace. I would recommend MCS for your insect system needs they really know what they are doing!

Wow. Private home placement of two misting fans. Estimator came by less than 24 hours after contact. Estimate comes back in another 24 hours. Installation team scheduled for one week later. Installation team comes in, knocks it out in a morning (realizing they have to wire electricity and water and install the fans). Amazed.

I have been a customer of MCS for over twenty years. I recently had a system installed at my daughter's home. They were extremely professional and very quick in setting up the system. My daughter and her husband no longer have a mosquito issue. They had a backyard that was basically uninhabitable because of all of the mosquitoes. I highly recommend this service. Any home remedy that you use does not work like this system works.

The past 2 days were finally hot enough, near 100 degrees, to really test my newly installed misting system. It worked great! I measured a 20+ degree drop in temperature, but it felt like more. The misting system will make my outdoor west-facing patio much more useable this summer.

We had such a good experience with Thomas and MCS installing some mister fans in our backyard. Thomas was responsive, knowledgeable, and prompt, and he made the process a breeze. We have already gotten so much more use and enjoyment out of our backyard now that we have the fans! They keep flies and mosquitoes at bay and bring the temperature down significantly. Highly recommend!

After considering multiple pest control companies, we opted to go with MCS in February 2025. MCS was more expensive than the others we looked at, however a friend had recommended them and we were aware of some local businesses who were also customers. Although we got off to a rocky start after a sales rep under-quoted pricing for our plan, service rep Chase went above and beyond to ensure our install was done properly. Chase has been outstanding in his level of follow up, too. Additionally, Mitch (Installation Manager) helped us navigate and ultimately solve an unanticipated hiccup. Chase and Mitch have delivered the highest level of customer service I've experienced in Austin, and MCS could not ask for better representation of their brand. Even though mosquito season in ATX is yet to get fully underway, I wanted to share that our overall experience with MCS has been positive. I am comfortable recommending this company based on the extraordinary level of knowledge and care provided by Chase and Mitch. Thank you!

Rip off artists. Apparently their policy is to bill you monthly but not necessarily come out monthly. I called to cancel the service because I sold my home and the last visit I had was in October and they determined it was the “last service for the year” and they charged my card in October as well as at the end of November even though they will not come out. $172 they ripped me off for. Be careful of this dishonest billing policy. I was thinking of installing the system in my new house but after learning this policy, it will not be from MCS. As you can tell by all the replies to the any reviews they are anything but polite and understanding. Usually passive aggressive. By saying what is so hard to understand to a frustrated customer shows their passive aggressive manner. And by the way it’s not $159 it’s $172. To add to my review of the system , it is not good. The nozzles are constantly clogged and require multiple replacements at each service. While that is included in the price, it also means multiple nozzles don’t work in between services. If the owner was a smart business person he would perhaps try to reach out and work something out so I can pass on a good word to the new owners of our house to use their service, but now the exact opposite will happen. I will tell them to avoid the company at all costs.

Hello Mr. & Ms. Stoffer, as we patiently explained over the phone yesterday, Our Premiere Plan is $159 per month. You get unlimited refills, a lifetime warranty, and three backpack power sprays per year. We charge only for 9 months March-November. We do not have contracts and we have two other service plans to choose from. All service plans are detailed on our website. We are not sure why this is hard for you to understand, but is is a definately not a rip off, in fact it is a very good deal, and a great value.
