On October 3, 2024 I got a pest control notice on my door from Heat Wave Pest Control. I emailed my managers at Garden Terrace Apartments. I told them that I DO NOT have bed bugs. There are no black fecal stains, no bed bugs or blood stains on my sheets and bedding. I emailed Heat Wave numerous times telling them that I DO NOT have bed bugs. I even emailed photos to my managers and Heat Wave. I told Heat Wave to to STAY OUT of my apartment. I DO NOT want to heat it up. The notice was for heat treatment on Oct 15, 2024. So, I had plenty of time to prove my case. The apartment manager emailed me back on Oct 07, 2024 telling me that he is going to get with Heat Wave to prove that my room is infested. I met with my apartment manager on Oct 10 and he said that both he and pest control did not find any bed bugs. He said that there was evidence of "nesting". This is false because I washed the dust cover and it was old stains. The manager told me that he and Pest Control will check my room again on Wednesday Oct 16 to make sure. For now there is no heat treatment--the room looks good. My room was not prepped. It was obvious that my room was not infested. On Tuesday Oct 15 I come home(6:05pm) and my room is HOT and there is a SISU Heater fan in my window. My bedding is removed to the bottom sheet. Obviously, Pest Control failed to remove my room number off the treatment list. The apartment managers failed to make sure my room was off the list and also failed to deny Heat Wave entry to my room. I am MAD!! Here are photos that prove that I did not have bed bugs!! I filed a harassment report with the police.

Great company and very flexible

When we first bought our home years ago, we had Heat Wave come and do an inspection for termites and carpenter ants. Luckily we were pest free. Cody and his team are very knowledgeable would most certainly use them again.

I had bids from every company in Austin that performs thermal remediation treatment and Heat Wave was hands down the best. Not only are their prices the most competitive in town, but they don't use scare techniques or try to sell you on services you don't need. Their honesty and integrity truly set them apart.
