I have used them a number of times for fireants, wasps, and recently lawn sprinklers. Good service and very helpful and knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong. Also I line you can just pay them to come out and do a treatment without needing to mess with subscriptions and annoying monthly contracts.

Yes! An honest and helpful business. Todd, the owner contacted me within hours of me submitting an inquiry. I was able to submit pictures and he let me know what was going on with my lawn even though it didn’t require their services. After having several disappointing experiences with contractors and service people, I was glad to speak to someone who provided me with helpful information instead of trying to sell services I didn’t need. Todd stopped by the house on the same day I reached out to lay eyes on a lawn care project. Even though he wasn’t able to help with the work, he gave me a lot of sound advice and got rid of a couple wasp nests at no cost while we talked. Super appreciative of his generosity. The company was very proactive in response to my needs. I feel they went above and beyond with customer service. I also like that they put a sign up so people would know the yard had been treated, especially for people with dogs. They treated my yard for weeds, pests, fertilize, etc. Great service.

When I first called Dr. Tex Lawn & Pest, I explained that my backyard was covered with brown straw-like grass and that I didn’t know why. The front office team member said they could come out in five days. In the meantime, another company said they could come out the next day, so I set up service with that company. The other lawn company came out the next day and diagnosed my back lawn. They told me everything was totally fine, no issues at all. They claimed the grass was just brown because of the hot sun. A couple of days after they diagnosed it, Todd Tindel, the owner of Dr. Tex Lawn & Pest, came out to introduce himself. I happened to be out in the front yard, and he asked if he could walk around the front and backyard to see the grass. Right away, Todd diagnosed my back lawn as having Gray Leaf Spot Disease. He just examined the grass and knew exactly what was happening! Then he took the time to show me how to spot it, so I'll know how to check for it in the future. He was so kind and knowledgeable, and right away, I wished I had set up business with them from the start. And that’s when I called Dr. Tex and set up service. Then I called the other lawn service, canceled with them, and explained why. And now my backyard is green again! I am so appreciative of Dr. Tex. They are a class act and the definition of outstanding customer service!

I just happen to call them as there was a dead snake on the street. Even though we are not their clients they immediately came and picked up the snake within a few minutes. And at no charge. I submitted a request at 6 AM, the owner responded at 6:10 AM, and then visited my house that afternoon! I struggled to have other companies respond in the same week, let alone the same hour! His prompt response, accurate diagnosis, and frequent communication make it easy to work with him. It is also nice to work with a locally owned company.

Our lawn pest control company did an inspection and told us we had rats in our attic, quoting nearly $2,000 for an exclusion. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. Todd came out and performed a thorough inspection, and at no point did it feel like we were being misled or taken advantage of. He found only two small areas that could potentially allow entry, sealed them, and set and checked a few traps, all for about a third of the original quote. No rats, thankfully. My neighbor had a ground hornet nest suddenly appear near my yard and needed help fast. I called Dr. Tex, and they truly exceeded my expectations. They responded the same day—actually, within under an hour! The technician arrived less than 15 minutes after confirming, clearly knew exactly what he was doing, and safely eliminated the nest fast. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to other quotes and how quickly they were available on New Year’s Eve.

We have had the service for a couple of years or so. We have always been pleased with the curtesy of the technicians and the excellent results of both the lawn and pest control services.

We recently had some pesky little black ants all around our store and desks. We sell high end exotic cars and need our desks to be clean when we do paperwork. Ants are not a good impression when someone buys an exotic car. It is hard to always find where they come from and what to do. We had Dr. Tex Lawn and Pest come out and help find them and treat them. Those ants vanished like a fart in the wind. Great service and very quick results.

I use Dr. Tex for my fertilizer service, and they do a great job. I ran into an armadillo situation, and most companies said they are too hard to catch. I was explaining the situation to Dr. Tex and they said no problem. They came and set up traps, and with in a few days we had armadillos to be relocated. Thanks for saving our yard
