This is my front yard after having Lawn Doctor coming out for approximately 13 months. I would think by now I would see improvements but it looks worse than when I signed. The only thing positive I can say is that I’m noticing a few less areas of crabgrass coming in this year than last. However I have way more areas that are completely bald. Update: the crabgrass and weeds came back in full force and the bald spots remained despite the heat returning. That being said I ended the service. Felt like I paid for nothing over the past 1+ year as the conditions never improved.

Matt, you have a Bermuda/zoysia yard, which is a summer grass. The Bermuda grass is just now starting to turn green and it won't be fully out of dormancy until the end of May. Bermuda/zoysia turn brown in the winter, unlike fescue grass which is green year round. Please call the office, and we can schedule a free service call to take a look and discuss. We need to see how much shade you have too as Bermuda and zoysia need a lot of sun. I am glad you have less weeds and grabgrass though :). <br>Thanks
Not impressed with their service. I still have weeds everywhere. I asked about weeds in my mulch beds and they don't do it.
I had very pleasant interactions with the owner. And he was always very courteous. My lawn definitely deteriorated over time however. I had been using an alternate local service that was acquired by True Green before I switched to Lawn Doctor (as I wanted a more local touch), so the lawn had been in fairly decent condition with few weeds. By the time I canceled my service with Lawn Doctor, it was inundated with weeds, and had become quite sparse. I attempted to bring it to his attention once, and he did send someone out again to respray once. But the lawn continued to sprout more and more weeds, and I eventually canceled my contract with them to find alternate help. I did not use their seeding service, just the weed control. I would steer others away from using their weed control. I don’t have experience with their seeding, so I can’t speak to the satisfaction of that particular service.

Hi Mrs. Weaver, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. I am sorry to hear your dissapoitment. We never charge for resprays between services because we like to guarantee our services. We do like communication from our customers so we know what is going on between services. I also would advise you to seed your yard early as the lawn will not look lush and healthy without it and will look sparse. Weed control will kill weeds during the year and leave bare spots that need to be seeded with grass or weeds will find a spot to thrive. We hope we can help you in the future.
I am not sure about their lawn care results but I did encounter an aggressive driver and truck number two. He was doing double the speed limit through the construction zone and swerved from the far right land to the left lane and barely missed us. We we tried calling the company but it goes to voicemail and no one has returned our call.

I have reprimanded that driver. I did get a call and returned the call. I am not sure if you are the same person or not but I appreciate the information and I have delt with the driver already. We will not tolerate unsafe driving.

I'm not going to leave a 1 star review because I have no experience w/ your company as far as lawn maintenance. I DO however have experience with your very aggressive van driver this morning through the downtown 'S' curves and construction zone who rode my bumper all the way through even though I was going 50+ myself to keep with traffic. Once I got out of his way, he rode other's bumpers until he caught up w/ the other driver. I personally work for a commercial business who also has van drivers and work to keep them in check to avoid complaints like this one. It was van #1. There was another of your vans a bit ahead of him who was driving very responsibly. There are workers in these zones all the time; they have families. How would your driver feel if he hit and hurt or God forbid killed one of them right before Christmas. Slow down and be responsible.

I will address this with the drivers right away and let them know we cannot drive like this or behave like this. It is no way to represent a compnay and cetainly and most imporatant of all not safe. They were highly recommended to me but I can only comment that they failed to return a phone call on a request for service or respond to website request.

During the 8 months this company serviced the property there has been a progressive worsening of the front lawn. The backyard lawn was never serviced even that it was included in the service. During this time nobody has evaluated the result of treatment or provided suggestion for improvement of the unhealthy lawn.
