Everyone at Moyer Indoor and Outdoor made our fuel tank installation seamless. Installers completed the job on a brutally cold day providing excellent communication throughout the day. The basement was left in perfect condition. They took care to ensure that a permit was pulled and that the new installation met current building codes. It was evident that the employees of Moyer Indoor Outdoor take great pride in their work and their company.

This excellent company just went out of their way to personally ensure we had a full tank of oil, on the day after Christmas, with a storm coming! I am an established customer of theirs, though not on auto delivery, and simply forgot to check the oil levels until it was really too late. The worst time to make that mistake is during Christmas week! The customer service, management and delivery team all specifically intervened to make sure my husband and I were not left with no heat, burst pipes, etc. and came through when the situation was urgent. That’s not easy when you already have only so many trucks on the road, carrying only so many gallons, etc., but they accomplished it. Added bonus…,their price per gallon is consistently very reasonable! The service is personalized and caring - one of the few oil companies that will still take checks and not demand full payment on delivery (of course, you should then pay promptly). I can attest to the fact that this is a home heating company that people can trust and rely on.

(Previous review) Great job Andrew. Thank you... (New review) On Friday night, November 21, 2025 my water heater died. I called Moyer first thing Saturday morning and the tech (Josh) was here within 1/2 hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me 3 options. I chose to replace the unit entirely. Josh was great. He kept me appraised every step of the way. He worked quickly and efficiently and the new water heater was in place by 3pm in the afternoon. Josh was very focused on keeping my house clean too. He placed coverings on the floor from the front door entrance to the closet where the water heater is located to protect the floor and keep things clean. He also vacuumed the closet when he was finished as well. He also asked me to inspect his work when he was done. Great customer service to say the least. Moyer is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Thank you for a job well done.

Summary: If you need a new HVAC system or service on an existing system, be sure to give Moyer a call! I recently had Moyer HVAC replace my 25 year old York system. In my decades of home ownership, this is the third system I've had replaced. Moyer's installation is easily the best of all three. Installers Mike and Trevor came prepared with new return and supply plenums that were fabricated in their shop, keeping on-site duct fabrication work to a minimum. All wires, AC refrigerant lines, condensate drains, gas furnace intake/exhaust, and gas supply lines were installed very neatly and cleanly. They paid attention to all the details, like making sure the circuit breaker was the correct size for the compressor - it had to be reduced by 5 amps. They installed a gravel base for the new compressor pad, ensuring it will stay level for years and raising it above the mulch level. This will help keep mulch and dirt away from the coils helping it last longer. The sales process was easy. Their sales person, Jeff, provided several options with different suppliers and efficiencies. Quotes were quickly updated as I adjusted options. Of course, for a large home improvement project like this, I solicited quotes from several vendors and Moyer was competitive.

Moyer is our “Go To” for many things. Just recently they installed a new heat pumps and AC compressor in one of the buildings on our property, and a new heating and AC unit in our main house in the summer of 2023. Their technicians and workmanship are top shelf. Among other things, we use Moyer for pest control, and we purchase our oil and propane from them as well. They are always priced right, and we are set up that they come automatically when either product is needed. I recommend Moyer very highly for all your home needs!

We contacted Moyer for an urgent AC issue the day before moving in to our new home, as they had serviced the unit previously. We paid $99 for a technician to inspect the system. During the visit, the technician spent a significant amount of time on the phone with a supervisor and quickly diagnosed the compressor as failing. He quoted a replacement cost of $4,400 for the compressor, and even advised that, given the unit’s age (about 10 years), a full replacement was the best option. Seeking a second opinion with another company, we found the real issue was a faulty control board (which cost us less than $100) and the compressor was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the Moyer technician did not effectively diagnose or fix the problem, causing unnecessary stress and charging us $99 for a service that provided no real value. We expected a more thorough and honest assessment and are disappointed with the experience. Based on this, we would not recommend Moyer.

Been using for the past couple of years to open/close my pool. Up until this season, no real issues. This spring when the crew opened my pool, they missed removing two plugs which wasn’t a big deal. But, I just called to schedule an earlier closing as they had me at 10/20. They said they have no other days?!?! Will look to find someone else. This is how you lose a client for life for something so basic.

I am a Plantium customer of a couple of years to present. I trust Moyer with pest control inside the home because they do a great job! Unfortunately I can't say the same about their lawn care program. They are so inconsistent with treatment quality and personnel. I rather wait 90 days for the same tech, then to get a different tech, different attitude, different quality every 30 days. Nevertheless, my payments are always paid on time. I will try to hang in. But this is what happens when you try to be a "Jack of all trades, and the master of none". (Sad)

We got the platinum plan with valet maintenance services for our pool - and paid up front. They are supposed to maintain the pool weekly so we can just use it. Unfortunately we went away for 5 days and when we returned on July 4th excited to use the pool for the holiday weekend with friends and family it was filled with algae, backed up with water levels above the skimmers and the chemicals were all out of wack (we took a sample to Leslie that very day) - they said they had just serviced it 2 days prior - which means they either didn’t do it or they don’t know how to maintain a pool - we called the company over the holiday and got no response - pool was unusable - very very disappointed with them

I had called a few years ago to suspend service because I was doing work in my yard and didn't want to pay for treatment if I was going to be messing up the area. It was almost my entire rear yard we were going to be tearing up with machines. The salesman at that time told me I should keep up with the service so that when we resume, we wouldn't be starting over. Less work for them, less product for them to use, but the price never changed. Fast forward to this year, I cancelled service in December because I wasn't happy that there were areas that had not improved over the years and I was paying full price for less than half the work. They showed up in April to complete the service anyway. I reached out to ask them why they were at my home when I cancelled. They called back and I was told if I find out who I spoke with and when, they will refund, otherwise I will have to pay for their mistake. I used Moyer many times in the past and never had an issue but over the past few years, it seems to have gone downhill.

Not HAPPY with service at All!!!!!!!!! Techs will come at their leisure and don’t perform any maintenance care for indoor/outdoor I was told tech would come between 1pm-3pm however, I just received an invoice email that service was completed. I have cameras surrounding my home and no one has crossed my property. This is unacceptable! Moyer definitely withdraws auto payments without hesitation! Saddest part is that this isn’t the first time I have experienced this issue.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but when someone tries to take advantage of people out of heat I have to say something. Thursday morning our heat went out and our furnace would not fire. I called Moyer and they sent someone out. The tech said it needed a cleaning, which is fine and he did that. Then he said the head blew apart and said we needed to either replace the whole burner assembly for 3k if that doesn’t work we need to replace the furnace for 16k.. I was at work so my wife was there, and he tried to “scare tactic” her into buying a whole new unit. He stated that we should skimp out on something like and if we do the cheap fix we could fill our house up with carbon monoxide.. We told him to leave everything the way it is right now and we will decide in the morning , I called another heater tech and told him the situation, he was out the next morning. Replace the head and gaskets, tuned it and it fired right up.. he tested the air quality and everything was perfect. We paid less for the second tech to actually replace the bad part then we did for the Moyer tech.

We were referred to Moyer Indoor Outdoor through our Pool Heater manufacturer for a warranty repair, they were the preferred partner to do the repair. When I called they said they "are not taking new customers"; I would think an entire business model would be trying to take new customers. Clearly a disconnect between them and the equipment manufacturers that require us to use them for the warranty repair. We had used them for interior heater/air conditioning in the past and certainly will not use them going forward or refer them to others.

I have been a customer of Moyer indoor outdoor for over 5years now and never had any issues with them. I always prepay for lawn and tree and shrubs each year. I would think that Emoyer would like to o keep my business and even refer them to friends and family. I do not know if there is change in leadership or what, but I reached out to them more than 6times in the last 3weeks to prepay but their customer service is extremely poor. Their sales rep Robert Gaunt does not have time to pick up calls or answer them back or answer his email. After I complained, he called me once and has since not answered my calls or emails. I have decided to take my business elsewhere! I want all my friends to know to avoid Moyer Indoor and outdoor and find other companies.

Wish I could give zero stars. My full review/story is on their facebook page. Google reviews will not allow me to copy and paste. Been a customer since 2001. I am sad and disappointed with the latest experience of lack of customer service and care I noted yesterday Wednesday June 13. A particular phone rep handling calls couldn't care less on wasting a customer's time. The company pushed back our 12-2 time slot to 2-5 without notifying me or my mom (who I recommended Moyer to). That 12-2 was confirmed days prior with 2 staff members. Between 2:01 pm to 2:40 pm, I wasted more of my time on the phone trying to get an update. I was told 3 different stories backpedaling why things were handled the way they were, placing final blame on the initial rep that I made the appointment with on Monday June 11. Their site has a page that says "why Moyer?" And their first 2 bullet points are that they value a customer's time and are accommodating, and that they believe in communication. Neither were met. And as for the final points on their website page, they did NOT exceed expectations and we definitely were not satisfied. It saddens me to end my business with them. But when the company comes across that they don't care over the phone and then feeds 3 different stories, I don't want to spend my money there. I will say that the plumbing manager Alex Reeves did apologize, but the damage was done already by the first rep I spoke with in yesterday's phone call. A discount of some sort should have been offered for the mishandling and the not so friendly call by the customer service rep yesterday, but I had to ask Alex for one. He did offer $50 towards the service fee. In the end, we opted to cancel the appointment all together and decided to go with another plumbing company. I will no longer recommend Moyer Indoor Outdoor to others. I grew embarrassed yesterday since I made this recommendation.
