Founded in 2006 by Inland NW Resident Jacob Borg, Pointe Pest Control has grown from a single office in Spokane, Washington, to multiple locations throughout Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana. Today Pointe employs an impressive group of experienced and knowledgeable professionals committed to problem solving and serving our customers' needs. Pointe Pest Control is proud to give back to the communities it serves through a number of avenues, including an annual Scholarship Program awarded to graduating Seniors in Washington, Idaho,Oregon, and Montana. In addition, Pointe conducts an annual Charitable Bed Bug Treatment program called 'Take a Bite of the Holidays' that includes a complete bed bug treatment for a family in need.

The actual techs are fine, even great. But you can literally NEVER talk to an actual person, they route you through a 3rd party front desk, and it took us literal HOURS to cancel our service when we moved. I would highly NOT recommend them based on their customer service on the phone.

I wouldn't put 0 stars if I could. I don't know why this company thinks they can just make you appointments on any time or day and just tell you that's your appointment. Logically one would think if they nwed you to replace the bair they will call. Dont just make appointments whenever you want. i would suggest you mot use they whatsoever for this reason. then get upset when they can't get to your bait boxes 🤷‍♀️

Failed to obey sign on gate: BEWARE OF GREAT PYRENEES GUARD DOG!!!! This dog would have attacked if she had been outside. Signs are made to be obeyed!!! Call us before entering our fenced yard. Our dog is very sweet but has been trained to stop strangers.

Young man appeared at my door to solicit business, saying they "were already in the area". Tried to hook me with some "special discount price", based off a flyer with other unexplained pricing, but did not clearly explain that their "deal" committed me to a yearly contract for almost seven times the number waved in my face to hook me. VERY deceptive business tactic, and I will not be doing business with this company in the future. Being upfront with your *actual* pricing would have potentially earned you an account with multiple homes, but you blew it.

A guy from Pointe pest control came to my door. He wouldn't say what he represented or why he was here, other than they are talking to neighbors. He wouldn't say what about?!?! Said himself about an HOA? I don't have one. He had his mask under his chin, so I'm certain that I didn't miss any words. There just weren't any that stated why he was here. It ended kind of rough as I began to lose patience. I had to actually google what his hat said to find out what he was representing. I then called to complain and no one has called me back. This guy either hates his job, doesn't care or just has a very bad attitude. The wait time to get a live message guy for after hours Pointe at 4p.m. was incredibly long. The message guy was very nice, yet, it took forever to get him. Just from this experience? I would rather deal with ground feeders roaming and black widows than dealing with this company.

We first had Pointe service our house for ants in March. After the first treatment we only saw decreased activity in one problem spot. They came back out over the next several weeks/month at no charge at our request (because their service is supposed to be guaranteed) but after two additional sprays and traps being set, we still had major ant issues in spots they serviced. When researching another company to have out since Pointe’s service provided no results, I realized by checking our invoice that the concentration of certain chemicals is lower compared to other pest control service providers so that could be an issue, but who knows. All I know is we spent $170 to still have ants coming out of crevices that were treated. I’d recommend using a more knowledgeable local service provider. We ended up going with Dan’s Pest Control and after only three days the ant activity has decreased significantly/ceased completely in areas we’ve struggled with since Pointe’s first visit. Edit: The response from the owner is unnecessary and misses the point... the product was tried over the span of a month and a half before we finally called someone else. The product clearly didn’t transfer within the colony to reach and kill the queen, which was my entire point. After several visits we still had the same ants in the same spots. Furthermore, without us scheduling repeated service Pointe’s techs showed up today (4 months later) insisting we were on his route. We said no, there must be a mistake, and this young man rudely persisted, saying “the company sent out reminders and everything, so..” umm, what? We said no thank you, and had to shut the door in his face for him to leave. When we say we don’t want your service, just go — don’t rudely act like you have the right to be there.

For ants, we treat with a transfer product, which is not meant to kill them immediately, but instead meant to be transferred from one ant to another, throughout the colony, ultimately reaching the queen. This will cease further ant production and the colony will die off.
