I found Bumgardners to be what you would like all businesses to be. They came out the same day that I called, and I was scheduled to start within a week of excepting their bid. I had the old clay soil and what was left of my lawn removed in one day, and the new amended soil brought in. The next day was spent leveling the new dirt and installing the sod. Joe and Aaron were great to work with for sure, would call them again in the future.

Having zero experience with sod installation, I chose Bumgardners because I had seen their quality work in my neighborhood. My situation was a little different as I was intending to gift the sod install to my son at his home for his birthday. Joe Shannon and I communicated through emails right up to the moment the installation began. I couldn't have asked for a more patient, understanding and kind person to walk me through the process and answer numerous questions. Aaron's work ethic is stellar. He was respectful, answered questions galore, and proved his skill because at the end of the day there was a lovely new lawn.

Very Professional. Work is of the highest quality and execuited in a timely manner. Very much the prior planning and follow thru of the project. Joe and Aaron were absolutely FANTASTIC! They were kind, communicative, and very efficient at building the paver patio of our dreams! Joe took the time to understand the look and function we wanted, and presented several options within our budget. Aaron worked quickly despite the summer heat, and placed pavers with precision. My yard has struggled being choked by weeds and chinch bugs for the past few years. That last year was the worst so a call for help was needed. Bumgardner Landscape evaluated my front and side yards and determined complete replacement was in order. I had a lot of questions and felt like they were being answered even before I asked them. They even mentioned an easy repair to the sprinkler system that I could do myself and save a few bucks. That sure was nice. Working with Bumgardner Landscaping has been a good experience.

Not the company it used to be. Got greedy. If you're corporate, they'll charge you crazy prices bc no one is there to see. And if you're like everyone else, they'll charge a high "show up" fee and nickel and dime you all along the way. Been hearing bad things around town from this company and had my own experience with them too.

Silas of Bumgardners Irrigation came out to inspect my neglected sprinkler system. He was extremely patient, concise and knowledgeable. In about 2.5 to 3 hours he replaced and adjusted a large number of sprinklers, found a thoroughly covered up sprinkler head we'd all forgotten about, repaired it despite serious tree roots and showed me how to adjust the sprinkler heads, if needed. He took the time to adjust each sprinkler so it was working properly and hitting the places it needed to. I seriously recommend him for his knowledge and upbeat attitude!

(Update below). Wanted to get an estimate on a backyard landscaping project. Was told that they are sooooo busy that they won't take on any project unless it is over $3,500. First, it sounds rather like extortion. And second, how could I get a fair estimate knowing that their starting point is $3,500? Sorry but I would never do business with a business that operates like this. - Update - 5 years later they respond lol. I guess they need the work now and have dropped their minimum charge. Can I change this to zero stars? Beware of this place.

They quoted us $95 an hour to fix a leaky irrigation system. They sent 2 employees and charged us $95 an hour for each employee.

Carol''s Colors, which merged with Bumgardners, installed our irrigation system 25 years ago and has maintained it ever since--excellently. Most recently, James fixed a broken pipe and installed pressure reducers. He is prompt, polite, and highly skilled.

With spring approaching, I checked my irrigation system and found the valves and backflow control suffering from old age. I contacted Bill at Bumgardners, who sent their Irrigation Specialist to my rescue. She seamlessly and efficiently upgraded and tested the new equipment. Thanks to Bumgardners, I look forward to having a green lawn for years to come.
