State Exterminating Co

This "company" serviced our new home build and was hired by our shady builder. Our builder is known for hiring the cheapest subs that he can find, and this company seems to follow the same pattern. The termite protection warranty that we received is not even close to the actual date the home was sprayed; the spraying was done prior to grading and landscaping (which you do not want to disturb the ground once it is sprayed (shame on the the exterminator and our builder); the company will not answer their phone nor return phone messages to answer questions. Do not use these clowns..

State Exterminating does all my personal and handles 2 offices for us. Can't say enough good things about the Frye's and their rates and service.

Both of these reviews SHOULD be for State Pest control, and NOT State Exterminating. The Frye family business is local only to Sanford NC, and have taken care of all my homes, businesses, and rentals since the early 90’s. They’ve been in business in Sanford since 1953, and are by FAR the best in town. Before you write bad reviews, make sure you have the correct company! Thanks!

Charged me for two months after I have cancelled. I cancelled because I continued to have pest. I had to physically go to the office to request a refund after unanswered emails and "she'll call you back" reached my limit. The address was wrong on the account?? I have been told three different times I would get refunded for the two months I was charged after I had cancelled services but they had continued to draft from my autopay. That was in November. I have yet to receive a refund. If I could give this company zero stars, I would.

The young man serviced, the recently purchased home. He claimed that we would see only dead insects after the next three days. THAT WAS NOT TRUE! The man claimed that this oderless spray would be effective. We were lead to believe thet under the house would be treated. This was supposedly achieved by shooting the chemical through the screen covered vents, that vents the air under the house. I noticed no slowing down or dead bugs at all. The treatment took almost 30 minutes. I'm being generous. He was overbooked. When they mailed a bill for $125. It was even more upsetting. They were silly enough to think we'd want to continue a scheduled service for this non effective pest control. I hope they will get some real insecticide, realize that everyone should receive service they're expecting, no matter how overbooked a worker may be, and be honest about the effectiveness, well lack thereof effectiveness of the service you will recieve. DEFINITELY No for Recommendation.
