Always great service
I’ve been using this pest control service for several years now, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They are consistently reliable, professional, and thorough every time they come out. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly care about keeping my home pest-free. The technicians are always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I have. They explain what they’re doing, offer helpful tips for prevention, and make sure everything is taken care of before they leave. I also appreciate how punctual they are and how easy it is to schedule appointments.
I had them come out today to remove the dog waste from my yard. Everything went perfect, Tyler was amazing! Very professional, extremely courteous, and my dogs loved him! I recommend their service if you have dogs and need their “stuff” picked up, my yard looks wonderful now! And can run around and play with confidently and not be afraid that I’m going to step in anything gross!

We have loved using Kumo pest control to treat our yard for mosquitoes. They have some of the best rates in the area and are very quick to reply to any questions. Jared was extremely rude. Very argumentative and does not take accountability. Cancel services based on his actions alone!!! Would not recommend!!!! Cheaper better services available in Clayton! What company text you this after a review?! This is not okay! Especially for a company who has been to my home I find it interesting you responded but blocked my response. Rhiana was concerned that she couldn't get ahold of us. Her sister, who set up the account, gets ahold of us just fine - just like our other customers. Rhiana insisted that it was something wrong with our phones. When I told her that it was more likely her phone, she could not take accountability (as she accused us) to admit that something just might be wrong with her phone.<br>Very confused how someone can be so rude, and then when we try to defend ourselves now we're all-of-a-sudden argumentative and rude. One of the most difficult people I've ever spoken on the phone with. I feel very sorry for whoever is in her life. We are very happy that she found a different company.
Excellent and reliable service. The staff is professional and polite. I strongly recommend their services.

Very professional pest control service. I expressed concerns about ants and spiders around my home and they were able to provide a package that takes care of these. The employee was prompt and made sure to ask about any additional areas in the home and yard that could be problem areas. Overall I recommend them to anyone in the area who needs pest control!

Quick easy and effective. No subscription or start up fee needed for mosquito service. Representative on the phone was friendly and knowledgeable. It was also easy to start service and pay over the phone in less than 10 minutes

Save your time and money. I had a poor experience with JARED!!! rude staff .Despite being a regular customer I was treated poorly with lack of customer service care because I told him that I wanted to be home during the inspection he told me that he was just going to cancel my appointment because their was no need for me to be home lol!! It should be whatever the customer desires since I am the one paying for the service not him!!! Hell if this was the case he can pay for the treatment hisself I hate manipulating men that thinks whatever can go just cause they say so! Absolutely not There are much better options in the area skip this one because they have lack of resolution. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously as I cannot recommend this business in its current state.

Thank you for the feedback.<br><br>The conversation went very differently than what Dior (not her real name) is alluding to. She insisted on being home, so she could be sure that we were doing the job correctly. Fair enough. However, this shows that she doesn't trust us. Why would she have a company service her that she doesn't trust? It would be better to not provide her the service. We pointed this out to Dior, and she got all sorts of mad.<br><br>Our customers trust us, and we trust them. It's a two-way relationship. We treat every customer exactly the same. This isn't some masculine power trip lol. <br>She also failed to mention the expletives she texted in that wouldn't be appropriate to post here. <br><br>We wish her the best in finding a company that better fits her needs.
How is it I’ve had them for years NEVER had a problem, as soon as I ask for a manager to address an issue they drop me as a customer. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately our experience with Kumo has been bad from the start. We’ve also been ignored, screamed at by an employee named Wes (I have a video) and just completely blown off. This company came out to spray our home and yard. First we asked that our yard be sprayed all the way back towards our creek, yet they only sprayed inside our fence and in our front yard. Their contract states they treat up to an acre, even though we have two acres we requested well under an acre be treated. Our back deck and is still covered in spiders and webs and we are still having issues with bees that we were told they’d take a picture back to the office and find a solution for. But the real issue comes with the negligence used in their methods. When they came I asked several times if these products were safe for my animals and I was told YES, and that I could let me animals out 30 minutes after they left. So I housed my animals in our down stairs bathroom. They proceeded to spray the house, to include under the bathroom door of which my cats were being housed. When I explained to WES that they sprayed UNDER the door where my cats were and that within 24 hours my cat started having seizures WES told me “well we didn’t do anything wrong, if you show me where anywhere on the bottle that it says we can’t spray UNDER a door then I will admit we were wrong”, I again explained it wasn’t so much the act of spraying under the door but it was. the act of spraying under the door that my cats were in. They also went on to spray the entire rug in my daughters room after I explained that’s where my cats liked to lay the most again telling me it was completely safe for my cats and my child. Not only is the products they use dangerous for animals they are dangerous for people as well. Wes went on to tell me “well you chose to spray inside your house, I don’t even spray it inside my own house”. I asked them to help cover the cost of the vet bills because of their negligence (again they sprayed it directly under the door into the room that my cats were in, standing at the door asking to be let out). I was told the owner would get back to me and he never did. I sent pictures of our bills, and the information the vet printed our stating the products they used were in fact dangerous and known to cause health issues with cats). Thankfully I have not had to euthanize my cat as we originally thought but we now face lifetime vet care and treatment for liver damage and only asked the company to help cover the first two bills so that I could continue treatment for my cat. Wes was yelling so loud that my 18 yr old son came down with a bat thinking that a man was IN OUR HOME yelling at me, once Wes heard me tell my son to get his phone he then only mildly calmed down and we were still able to catch this man yelling at me like a child
Update as of 10/19/23. At first this company was great. But, then they stopped actually doing what is on the list for quarterly services. And when we tried to talk to them they got in their van and left. When my husband tracked them down in the street they said to call their boss, they don't care. We called the office and got the same reaction from the lady on the phone. I have no idea if they sprayed, filled mice traps, etc. And they for sure did not treat the acre for fire ants. Very disappointed, cancelled my agreement with them. Will find another pest control company.

Sorry for miscommunication. We did do everything that we've done for you for the past 3 years - not sure why you're assuming we didn't do these things. We treat all of our customers the same; whether you are present or away, we treat your property the same. We hope that you can find a company that better fits your needs.
UPDATE: I assume the company owner or one of their underlings is the one who responded ever so pretentiously to my review. Take it for what it's worth- but when I check reviews on a company, I usually start with the 1 star ones first, then work my way up to find out where their weakness lies before deciding to hire them. A week ago we noticed flying ants gathering on our upstairs windows on the back of our house (second floor). As the ants started getting inside, we called back Kumo to make them aware. When they came back out for a reservice, I showed them the windows and they agreed to spray the windows from the outside with a liquid. Moments later I saw them loading up their truck and pulling out of my driveway. I immediately checked the windows- they were all bone dry on the outside- nothing was sprayed. To make matters worse, when I called their dispatcher, she reached out to them, called me back and said they sprayed the windows already and that the heat dried it up already. In 2 minutes? No way. I did hear one of the technicians doubtfully state he didn't think the sprayer would reach to a second floor. Not only was I lied to, but I never received the service I requested and paid for. If they had simply told me they couldn't do it, instead of lying about doing it, I wouldn't have had the need to cancel their service an go somewhere else. These guys are cheap for a reason....you have been warned.

Service started out great when they first moved into the area. One item I asked prior to utilizing their service was to be able to confirm appointments prior. Most recent service they sent a text on Sunday evening and showed up to spray Monday morning without us giving the ok. We have pets and kids and I was not aware as I was out of town. My dog was let out and subsequently became sick. When I requested the ability to be able to confirm appointments prior to services it was met with rudeness and was told that was no longer possible as they are too busy for that. Allowing families to confirm the spraying of toxic chemicals before it occurs is very important

My past experience was good and I shared their name with friends. However, the last time they serviced my property, they literally were gone in 5 minutes. They hit and broke my neighbors mailbox and sped away after looking back at it. Of course they are denying that it happened! I'm so disappointed in them. 😒

Thanks for the review, albeit a misleading one. This customer is on the Bronze Program, so we just do a barrier spray around the house. This is our quickest service. It takes about as long as it takes someone to slowly walk around the house. Also, we reached out to the neighbor in question, and confirmed with them that their mailbox was damaged. We are reimbursing them for the full expense of the mailbox post. Not sure why Cam says we are denying it.
PLEASE do your due diligence and read the one star reviews and then take a moment to read the owners snarky and distasteful responses. That, should be your first reason to run. Allow me to provide you with the next reason to run. I provided a 1 star review with absolutely no commentary until today because this owner knows I’m so disappointed in his services. Instead of moving past that, he decided to tell a story but not a complete story. Complete story … Kumo came to do their first quarterly service from a package that was provided via mail flyer. When they arrived the gentleman told me “no need” to enter the home, they don’t do that. We noticed that the first service did absolutely nothing. So, because of his “great FREE reservice” we contacted them and they said they’d come back out. THIS time it was done correctly inside and out, but what do you know, I see a ding on my cc for the full quarterly service charge AGAIN (twice within the 90 day period). The quarter wasn’t even up yet? Why would I get billed? Also, I personally stated I preferred to be billed, not automatically deducted. So why did the owner refund me? Because he had NO RIGHTS to bill my cc unauthorized and because I was within my quarterly service. I want to be sure I state, this owner has completely harassed me for over a year. Sending bills with rude remarks, stamps, telling me he needs to feed his children. He has texted, said he was sending me to collections, everything you could think of OVER a supposed free service that he is offering to so many other reviewers. I’m sure that once I post this, he’ll update his current review response, try to change the info to make him look indifferent and throw up a 😂 emoji but truthfully using this company was nothing short of a nightmare. If you’re truly trying to gain good business practices, let it go since it was within the 90 day time frame that you scream to everyone on this platform and please kindly leave me alone. I want nothing to do with you or your company. So I’m politely asking you to stop harassing me. Update: You can go through all 390 (at this moment) reviews and see that I do NOT have ANOTHER review that he has replied to! I didn't make a second account to leave a review, as most people, I have multiple google accounts. Absolutely absurd that he continues to badger someone who got a revisit within the 90 day service because the first service was AWFUL/not completed. Again, please stop harassing us!

There are always going to be those whom we cannot please, and we are ok with that. We always try our very best. We provided a service that wasn't paid for. We held up our end of the deal, and because we're asking that you hold up your end of the deal it's harassment? It's called accountability. First month went ok, after that not so good.All I asked was a phone call the day before service.Well let me say that did Not happen! We are on our family vacation and ringdoorbell goes off. I call and asked them to come back in a couple days. They end up coming again early in the am, no notice, left gate open and,I woke up to ring again. It's really not that hard to do, so I called the office talked to a lady (very nice) then a guy gets on and says I listened to everything! I said good then you should understand why I asked for a phone call prior to you coming. Guy was rude and insulting! Beware Don't do business with them. They come and go when they want to! Not a professional company!

We would have gladly have rescheduled.<br>For those reading this, here's what really happened..<br><br>She said that she may not have gotten our text, because her service was bad. How is that our fault?<br>Then, she was complaining that she couldn't let her dog out to use the bathroom, because our technician was in the backyard. I simply asked if she could wait till we were done with the service, and she didn't answer. Then she went on to say that we just can't be in her backyard without her permission. That's fine, but we were not told that. We are in people's backyards all day every day.<br>We did the full service, with exception to an area where there was a horse, which we will gladly do if asked, when the horse is out of the area. No problems there - she is fully warranted, so we can come do a free re-service any time she needs.<br><br>With all of this said, we didn't even charge her for the service, and she still leaves a bad review. 😲<br>We've been treating one of her neighbors, with no problems whatsoever.<br><br>She also said that she had this same problem with her other Pest Control company. People like her are never satisfied. She will continue to jump from company to company (leaving bad reviews along the way), because there is no pleasing her.
They responded to my review that when they treat the wrong house they happily make it right and thats a complete lie i was told I am beat and the owner is in vacation till july and MIGHT call me back. So not only are they thiefs unprofessional and ghetto they lie. 100 percent any good review on here is either family or someone who was promised a discount to leave it.
