This company ripped me off. I paid them upfront and after 3 weeks and no one arrived, I was told the work order never got run. After that, someone went to the location 3 times then called me to tell me more work had to be done and a new fee appeared for me to sign and pay which had duplicate charges, plus the previous contract had yet to be fulfilled. 2 people acknowledged I was being double charged.... then... no one ever contacted me again. I followed up with 2 people and silence. This company ripped me off for $1,000 and never did anything. Do not use them.
IMPOSSIBLE to do business with the company! Representative gave me quote but was not a comprehensive scope of work. When I asked for clarification in writing, they ghosted me. The price tag was $2500 so it was reasonable to expect a clear statement of scope of work. I followed up several times and they didn’t respond, even though I tried to reach a manager. Was told they let go of one manager due to lack of work. Other reviewers mentioned lack of customer service. Never got that far. For a company lacking work, they made it IMPOSSIBLE to do business with them.

I recently had Triangle Wildlife come out to address what I thought was a squirrel issue. Triangle quoted me $4,200 to fix the problem. I decided to get a second quote and called Trutech. Eric Adams from Trutech came out and spent a good amount of time walking around my house and exploring the attic. He then stepped out to his vehicle to prepare a quote. After about 10 minutes he came back to tell me that he wouldn't be giving me a quote as he'd essentially be ripping me off as I don't have a squirrel issue. He said I just need to get my gutters repaired in a few locations. I was super impressed with Eric's honesty and integrity. He was also training a new associate at that time and what an incredible example to set. Shout out to Eric and also if I ever do need wildllife services, you can bet I'll be calling Trutech. Watch out for those scammers over at Triangle Wildlife too!

I have been with this company for many many years and am pleased with the courtesy and the concern for my issues. When I have an inside issue I address it with the technician and they have been good at helping me to solve the issue. Thank you

Thank you for your 4-star rating, Shawlin!
Fast and professional
While I was very satisfied with TruTech's actual wildlife removal services earlier this year, and the pest control technician that we've worked with has been great, I unfortunately will not be renewing with TruTech when my contract expires due to what is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to lower the frequency with which I recieve pest control services since early April. Every time I call, I am on hold for at least half an hour before speaking to someone. (Not to mention that if I elect to recieve a callback to avoid waiting on hold, I never get a call back). Every time I speak with someone, I am told they must speak with a manager and give me a call back - guess what.. I have never gotten a call back. I have had some representatives give me their email. When I email them... I never get an email back. In May, I was finally able to request to stay on the phone until someone could speak with a manager. I was told that my service frequency would be lowered - Horry! Excpet that a technitian ended up coming out anyway in May AND now again in June. I have been desperately trying to have this resolved, and I was now told that 1. There is no note on my account that my frequency was ever lowered and 2. they need to speak to a manager and call me back. Mind you, this is from one of the same representatives that ghosted me via call and email before, so I don't imagine a callback is likely. I suppose I will just keep wasting hours of my life on hold trying to talk to someone once a week.

Had a visit from Chris today. Scheduled for tomorrow but called, said he was in the area and asked if I we would like him to come by. I have to say that after dealing with the "O" word folks Truetech was from the start a welcomed change. The "O" word folk without so much as coming out to the house tried to have us commit to a one year service contract!!!!! """NO THANK YOU!!!!"""" No pressure from beginning to end. Chris did a thorough inspection but was unable to detect the source of the scratching noise that we heard within the pantry wall. Instead of trying to sell us service that he couldn't target the source. He shared some self help suggestions that I could deploy. Oh and by the way "didn't charge" us a dime for all the time put into the inspection. Thank You Chris!!!!! Truetech has a winner in you!!!!!
Response from Trutech Wildlife Service

Steven and Jamie were absolutely wonderful! Very prompt and thorough with everything they did for us. A plus service and made sure everything was sealed and caught the opossum that had created havoc for us! We recommend them very highly!
We had a wildlife problem that needed attention. Jamie came out and promptly assessed the problem and provided options for a solution. Stephen arrived the next day and effectively implemented the necessary wildlife controls in an efficient and professional manner. Stephen monitored the situation on multiple occasions and in 5 days our problem was resolved. My experience with Tru Tech, and Jamie and Stephen in particular, was very positive.
While we had a bit of a hiccup with Trutech, they did come out apologize and handle the situation with professionalism. While I can't speak to the rest of the Trutech team, we really appreciated how Hunter handled our situation. He was thorough in his work. Throughout all the encounters we've had with staff at Trutech, he has been exceptional in his reassessment of our situation.

Damaged my house and didn’t fix my issue.
I have had a great experience with TruTech. It started with Jamie Kneale coming out quickly and doing a detailed inspection of the property. He then quickly got Stephen McGregor out there to do the work. Stephen has been punctual with the time he said he was coming out, communicative, and did a great job explaining what he was doing and what he did. He then caught more squirrels than we anticipated and pivoted to provide extra services to come back out. While I hope I never need them again, I would strongly recommend Trutech and Stephen and Jamie.

Bernie, thank you for recommending Trutech! We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear about your positive experience with our team!
Very unhappy right now. The guy that came out to do the estimate said we could not evict them until Aug 1. 1st service was performed before August 1st in July and evicted the bats (despite being unable to verify if baby bats were onsite). They are the expert but it goes against what I was told. I also paid to have the house sealed and sprayed for bats. On the first service the tech did not have a ladder long enough to seal certain areas. He said he was done, and I wanted him to walk me around the house. When I pointed at the unsealed eves he said he did not reach the eves with his current ladder and would seal upon return. Second service was today. I waited at home for the guy, but then was notified the service was complete and my card was charged. However, the additional eves were not sealed and the spray which could only be done from the inside of the house was not done because I was home and he never came inside. I am so dissatisfied and they wasted half of my day and did not perform the service. I am sure they will come back and finish the service (for I will dispute the charge). But they have wasted now hours of my time for a service that I paid a lot of money for.
I found that the details of the service that I was promised by sales person was not delivered satisfactory. I had to keep calling and texting sales person and technician to get them to complete the work I was told they would do. Also, very unreliable with when they say they will come. Communication from them was very poor. Overall, very disappointing, especially given the high price point.
Response from Trutech Wildlife Service

We understand your frustration and will address this issue with our sales team and technicians to ensure better communication in the future. Please feel free to contact us at customerservice@trutechinc.com should you need further assistance. Thank you!
They will send a very professional expert who seems to know exactly what to do and will promise you that all of those things will be done. They will email you a contract to sign and the cost will be extremely high but you believe they are going to do what they say. They don't. In a word, this is a scam.
Response from Trutech Wildlife Service
Anna, I apologize for any miscommunication or lack of communication. Our manager tried reaching out to you earlier today. Feel free to give him a call back or email us at customerservice@trutechinc.com, so we could be of further assistance. Thank you!
My husband called this company to figure out what was causing the noises he was hearing in the walls. The technician confidently stated that she knew what the problem was and she would send over an estimate within two hours. It's been over a week and a half and we still haven't received a quote, even after both of us reached out to her via phone, text, and email.
Response from Trutech Wildlife Service
I am so sorry for the lack of communication as this does not meet our company's standards. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.

I called this company to inquire about the removal of a wild animal in our backyard. The first rep I spoke to was very kind and took my information. She let let me know someone would call me back in an hour. After 1 week, I still haven’t heard from anyone. Don’t waste your time.
