The company rep lied to my face about being able to treat carpenter ants in the roof. I specifically asked the secretary and rep beforehand. I found out later the techs don't carry ladders nor are they insured to climb on roofs. When we showed the tech the two ant corpses that we found after multiple months of service he said we should be happy, that 2 ants was very minimal and the best we could expect from anyone. Johnnie Reece came by our Needlework Shop in Woodfin yesterday to do the normal treatment and inspection. Johnnie is always so pleasant and diligent with doing his job. We have an Old 1878 Folk Victorian as our shop space, and with all the textiles we have on display we have to be very careful not to allow any pests through all our old house nooks and crannies and gaps. Steven is new to us and Pisgah Pest Control and yet he knows just what to do! We’d seen evidence of a mouse and guess what - he found it - dead behind the tool bench and NOT in one of the sticky traps! Not sure this technician has been to our house before but he missed a small crawl space area that must be entered from inside the house. I'm sure he thought the large crawl space that has an outside entry door was all there was to be done. Have no reason to believe checking the smaller space needs to be done before the next scheduled inspection. Thx.
