Terminix

I wanted to make this review for any new home owners that might consider Terminix's services. Just be sure you read the contracts with a fine tooth comb because the technicians do not go into detail about what's in them or what happens when you cancel a service unless you ask very specific question like I had to. At first everything was amazing with the services as I bought my first home and found out I had a termite problem which I contacted Terminix to come out and evaluate how bad the problem

We had termites and Terminix completely missed it! A technician (inexperienced?) examined our home for wood damage and gave an initial quote for treatment for carpenter bees of $800. When told the price seemed high, the technician agreed to lower the price to $600. Gave him a $300 check as a deposit and were told the office would call to schedule an appointment. The long term contract is a scam. There is no need for their services in the winter and they know it which is why they lock you into 4 services with a cxl fee. I've had them to my house twice and their chemicals did not take care of the pests. I will say they did great at getting a yellow jacket nest out of a exterior door, but for regular daily pests, nothing changed after they came and I felt we had more insects such as ants, stink bugs, spiders, and crickets after they came.
