These guys are amazing. My lawn always looks good and my snow is always shoveled, even when it is deeper than Josh Allen is tall!!! Back in 2024, I had a DIFFERENT lawn service in West Seneca, NY. They always had a reason to not cut the grass: It is too wet It is too dry It is not over 3" tall We didn't have time to get to you this week. During the winter, this OTHER service provider always had a reason not to plow my driveway: There wasn't enough snow to plow. It didn't snow where we live. We didn't have time to get to you. Back in the summer of 2024, I was walking my dogs, and I saw Buffalo Lawn and Pest mowing my neighbor's lawn. I knew his lawn was always PERFECT. I took a photo of their number on their truck and went straight home and called Oliver. He was so polite and engaging. Ever since I have had Buffalo Lawn and Pest, my grass always looks GREAT. They mow it EVERY WEEK NO MATTER WHAT. In the winter, they ALWAYS have my snow plowed, and they shovel my sidewalk and deck too. I work out of town a lot, and when I get home, I can always get into my house without shoveling. I LOVE these guys! I wish I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars!

I prepaid online to get core aeration services done in the fall of 2025. I continue to get invoices for the service despite numerous requests to close my invoice as “paid”. I also received confirmation that the account was settled (screenshot attached).

Inconsistent. When a service tech is aware of someone watching the job is good. If they think no one is watching, the service is much different. Not as consistent , poor results. I called several times to voice my concerns. No one ever came out and speak to me. I would not recommend this company

I hired Buffalo Lawn and Pest Team mid way thru this season. I am very impressed with their services. They did a much more thorough job than the previous Vendor. To be honest they are a little less expensive and I am pleasantly surprised by what they have provided for me. I am going to use them in 2026. I highly recommend them.

It was my second year having this company for my lawn maintenance. My dog was sick and having to go to the bathroom every hour, I called days in advance to cancel the treatment, nobody returned my call and they still sent someone and sprayed the lawn. This was a big deal because instead of letting her out in my backyard, I now had to get dressed, put a harness and leash on and go take her down the street every hour overnight to use the restroom. Understand mistakes happen, but that was a really big one. And when I called to discuss it, I was basically told it’s not that big of a deal, the lawn signs were just required by NYS they it’s not really that serious and the dog should be able to go on the lawn. I took a lot of pictures too, and the lawn service looked nothing like last year, there were weeds everywhere to the point where neighbors had said something. When I asked about this he said it’s basically a gamble with the weather. I can’t imagine every year customers would pay upwards of $400 and we just take a gamble if it’s going to work or not. There should be some kind of guarantee. I asked to speak with someone ahead of who I was dealing with, Nick, just because I feel I wasn’t getting any answers, and it’s been 2 months maybe now with no call. I cancelled the rest of the season and the remaining balance was sent back, but it was just overall not the best experience this year with the service or customer service.
Would love to review their actual work but, unfortunately, never got the opportunity. Reached out in regards to a lawn project I wanted help with and spoke with a very polite service rep. They advised they would have the estimator give me a call to set up a time to come by. I received a call after about a week and a half and spoke to the man responsible for giving estimates. We set up a time for the following Tuesday. He called me up about 30 minutes after the discussed time to apologize for being late and confirm we were still on. I, unfortunately, needed to reschedule at that point but was fine doing so - things happen and people make mistakes, after all. We then moved the day to the following Thursday of that week - same time. On that Thursday, I didn't receive a call and he never arrived. I waited a week to see if someone would reach out and they never did. I do my best to be kind and patient in all situations as we are all human and things happen. This encounter was incredibly disheartening and I honestly expected better, given all of the raving Google reviews. Maybe it was something I said? At any rate, I'll have to look elsewhere and, hopefully, this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I literally seen 2 good workers get fired now my lawn looks horrible
This business has not cut my grass in two week but went and made a double withdrawl out of my bank account. When questioned twice about this I have not received a reply. Stay Away. Dishonest.

One star is too much for the experience of just getting an estimate with Ted,a employee of the company. after calling to reschedule @ his convience.Ted shows up and immediatly started to tell me all the tasks they would not be performing and pointing out that there were too many dead branches that would take too much time to remove since they were less an employee. Ted then told me how should redesign my yard with rose of Sharon and bamboo grassas like he has in his yard . After taking pictures so he could show the owner 3 hours later Ted left a voice mail on my machine saying that the owner could not give me an estimate because they were all booked up and since my job did not consist of pre exsisting beds it was too complicated. Instead of waiting my time a reputable business man should have known whether or not his business was " booked" or not.
These guys were very nice! Took them a while to get back to me for my quote but it was the beginning of nice weather so I imagine they were busy. I had just purchased a house and wanted 2 moderate sized bushes removed. They came and saw the bushes, again the man was super nice, then said he would email a quote. $345.00 was the quote!!! I thought that was ABSURD. Come to find out it took me and hour and a half to dig both bushes out with just a shovel. That would have taken 2 young guys 20 minutes each bush with more heavy duty equipment. These guys were trying to rob me blind.
This my 2nd season with Buffalo Lawn and Landscape . A friend recommended and uses this company although he is now deciding to discontinue services for the same reasons as well .. very very poor weed control and lack of communication. Last season it took 2 additional applications after I noticed several small and large weeds still on my lawn. I even specified the exact location!! After speaking to management the reasons why I no longer wanted their services he asked me to give them another chance . So I did agree . Starting with only 1 application this season and only on call basis. When I received a message letting me know when the 1st application was scheduled I immediately called back leaving a detailed voicemail stating not to spray until further notice from me because I had pool installed which required extensive lawn repair . A few examples with lack of communication , well this application was applied regardless while I was at work . Once again I left voicemail , management apologized , said I wouldn't be charged . I received a bill after that conversation. Upon my request for weed control application I was informed of my outstanding balance , once again I was told I wouldn't be charged. July 20 , 2017 weed control was applied . I received an invoice with this charge along with previous outstanding balance. After a few attempts of trying contact this company with more voice mails finally I spoke to Nick who was very rude to me and my friend who has issues with this company as well. I understand that weeds won't be gone instantly but over two weeks their are several not even wilting at all ?? Well I'm still waiting for another application . I really wish I could post photos of ALL the weeds that are still very alive and growing on my lawn . I made one final attempt , leaving another very detailed voice mail , even requested that I would like to speak to Dennis the (owner )just in case he isn't aware of this poor customer service . I was hoping for a return phone call to resolve this issue before writing this review but no luck .

My elderly neighbor uses their service for cutting and spraying. I requested to be notified anytime a product was applied to the lawn because they over spray onto our lawn. Frequently we are not notified. The guy doing the spraying was not able to answer my questions as to what is being applied and was very rude.
