Don’t use this place. Like so may bed bug exterminators they have a list of ridiculous hoops you have to go through in order for their warranty to be upheld. They also only guarantee 3 months which is not enough time to eliminate bedbugs if you have an ongoing problem. The person they sent out is not the one I spoke to. He arrived with no teeth and looked like he was infested himself. Not a good way to represent a company. Then you have to actually catch a bug in order for them to come out and do it again- my tenant is still getting bit and we have set traps but it’s hard to get one- we’ve had no luck. Anyways, after 4 months and trying to treat it ourselves after shelling out almost $2000 to this company, I’ve found another company that doesn’t make you jump through hoops to uphold their 1 year guarantee, and they do all their own work. Beware of this company and many others that do the same thing!!

Preparation guidelines are not “hoops”; they are industry-standard protocols designed to ensure the treatment works properly. Without proper preparation and follow-through, no company can responsibly guarantee elimination.<br><br>Our 90-day warranty is clearly stated before service begins and is consistent with many professional pest control providers. Bed bug activity beyond that period can often be the result of re-introduction, lack of preparation compliance, or untreated adjacent units — particularly in multi-tenant housing situations.<br><br>We also do not require customers to “jump through hoops” to receive follow-up service. However, we do require verification of activity before retreatment to avoid unnecessary chemical applications when there is no confirmed presence.<br><br>We stand behind the work we performed and the professionalism of our team. Had a small bug issue and the man can out and did my home. Give us no instructions on what to do far as removing our pots pans and etc. he just sprayed and told us afterwards. They told us if we see any bug with in 30 days to contact them and we saw one but was unable to get a picture of a random moving bug because who carrying a camera everywhere.. I called the today after the 30 days because we saw one again. !! You can’t predict when you’ll see a bug again. The supervisor I spoke to was not listening and kept repeating that my 30 days was up even when I told him I don’t want my money just a second check but he still wanted money. I’m very upset that I still have a bug issue after paying over $700 . I will be contacting a different exterminator.

This company is a complete scam. One of their representatives spoke with me over the phone and quoted a price of $255 plus tax. But when he arrived at the shop, he suddenly raised the price to $295 plus tips. He also made me pay a $100 non-refundable deposit over the phone, refused to return it, and left without providing any service. I feel totally taken advantage of.

This pricing is contract-based and was fully disclosed on the call.<br><br>Once our technician completed the inspection, it was determined that your restaurant had a heavy German cockroach infestation that required a fog treatment combined with multiple follow-up services to properly resolve the issue. When you declined the service agreement, we explained that the contract pricing no longer applied and the correct one-time treatment price became $375 + tax.<br><br>At that point, you became verbally aggressive toward our technician and refused to proceed. As a courtesy, your payment was refunded, minus the $100 non-refundable scheduling deposit — which is a standard requirement for all customers and is applied toward reserving a time slot that cannot be rebooked once dispatched.<br><br>No services were performed because you chose not to move forward after the full inspection and explanation. The claim that this was a “scam” is inaccurate and not supported by any part of our documented communication.<br><br>We remain committed to transparency and professional service for all customers.<br><br>— Management

I tried calling these people multiple times. I got ahold of some lady, explained my pest issue and gave her my contact info. Never got a call back. I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. Great customer service!!! (Sarcasm) Update: Are you serious? I DID try calling your business twice. Some lady answered both times who was polite, but clearly never passed on my contact info to your techs. You think I am doing this for fun? If anything it was very frustrating. It's not my fault you and your competitor have lackluster customer service. You could learn a thing or two from suburban pest control. They actually took care of my issue. Get real.

Terrible customer service and response time. After we paid for two visits which did not solve our Ant issue by the way… we then reached out and we’re told we would receive a call back the next day and of course did not until we reached out again two days later. It then took multiple days of calling over the last week and leaving our name and phone numbers with the call service lady did we FINALLY get a call back today and were told “I tried calling last week” so the last 5 days of calling got lost apparently…. Wish we knew it would be multiple visits and just overall better communication and service. Would NOT recommend.

Extremely misleading company and terrible customer service. I am so disappointed in the service of this company. We had them come out to remove a terrible ant problem at the beginning of June. Following their treatment we have never been without ants. Two weeks later we had them come back out to spray again and paid the additional $75 fee. Our issue has never been resolved. Countless calls to the company, for days on end. There was never any treatment plan given to me as stated on the website. After over 50 calls to the company (no I’m not exaggerating that) they called back to tell us they do not guarantee ant infestations. I will NEVER recommend Buffalo Exterminators to anyone with a pest issue. Poor planning, poor service, poor communication.

I called this company at 5:30 am and spoke to someone about how there was an animal in my vents. She said she would page it through and someone would give me a call when they were on their way. I never received a phone call. Very disappointing experience, especially since I wanted to get the issue taken care of before the animal died in my vents.

Terrible Experience – Unethical Service, No Refund Offered About 8 months ago, my boyfriend had a bed bug infestation. Seeing what he and his roommate went through, I was terrified that I might have brought them home with me after visiting all the time. To be safe, I threw out and replaced almost everything I owned. I thought I had avoided disaster, but two months ago, I started waking up with bites. Fearing a possible infestation, I decided to hire an exterminator to end the worry and the fear of a small infestation, and that’s when the nightmare with Buffalo Exterminator began. I spoke with the manager, Brandon, and we scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. The preparation list was overwhelming—basically, I had to wash and pack up everything I owned and leave it in my backyard. It was exhausting, but I did it, because I was terrified of bed bugs. Brandon and his team emphasized the importance of treating the walls, which gave me some peace of mind. However, when Brandon arrived at 11 in the morning as scheduled, he immediately made me feel disrespected. He sat in his car for an hour, on the phone, before even coming inside. The whole time, my belongings were out in the yard, exposed for everyone to see. When he finally entered, he noticed I hadn’t removed the outlet covers, which I hadn’t been told to do. The preparation list did not mention it. I profusely apologized and began getting to work. He reassured me that he would handle it, promising to get a drill from his car. He told me I had been through enougy that day. But when I returned later, I discovered that he hadn’t touched any of the outlets—he didn’t even reapply the ones I had taken off myself. He hadn’t sprayed the walls at all. When I called the next morning, Brandon admitted he hadn’t done the job properly. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he refused and insisted he was "the boss" and didn’t need to answer to anyone. He offered to come back and spray the walls the same day, but at that point, I didn’t want him back on my property. Eventually, I spoke to someone else at the company who convinced me to allow them to return and spray the walls, promising it would be free of charge. My belongings stayed outside for another day, and the stress of it all was unbearable. The kid they sent out to spray didn’t even have a drill with him, and clearly wasn’t told how serious the situation was. He just came to spray and left without even communicating with me about what was going on. To make matters worse, I was sick with COVID the day they came back to spray, and my friend had just passed away. The whole experience was so emotionally taxing. I felt completely taken advantage of by Brandon and Buffalo Exterminator, who did not do the job they were paid for and refused to give me any refund for the stress, time, and money I wasted. Bed bugs are serious. People dealing with them are already under immense stress, its humiliating, and to be treated this way by a company you trust to handle the situation properly is absolutely unacceptable. They told me they were on the Buffalo News. Our community deserves to know. I am heartbroken that Buffalo Exterminator would act in such an unethical and careless manner. I just want my money back and hope no one else has to go through the same emotional toll that I did. My response to owners comment: Even though the service was completed, I have NEVER experienced such a traumatic & unprofessional experience like I did with your team. When you pay to have the job done, it is expected to be done right the 1ST time. Especially with such a serious situation like BEDBUGS. You are dealing with people's lives, every thing they own. I will continue to let people know of your terribly poor service(Brandon). The job was EVENTUALLY completed after Brandon basically laughed and threatened that I'd get nothing done without his approval even though he was the one who DIDN'T complete the job. I strongly encourage you to do the morally and ethically correct thing given the situation at hand and provide a refund.
