I had an autopay account with Prime Pest and Lawn and didn’t realize my card on file wasn’t updated. When I called to figure out why no one had come out to service my home, they told me the card hadn’t been going through—which I completely understand and take responsibility for. However, what I don’t agree with is being told I now owe for multiple months of service that were never performed.They confirmed they did not come out after December because the payment didn’t go through, but are still trying to charge me for that time simply because my account remained open. (December-Today) I let the guy know I’m more than willing to pay for services that are actually provided(December), but being charged for months with no treatment doesn’t feel fair or right. After going around for a bit repeating ourselves I hung up. I’ll call tomorrow to talk to the manager. See if it’s resolved or what happens. Called again. I was told the same thing. We didn’t have a contract but I didn’t call to cancel. The guy said he would not charge for the 4m they DID NOT come out to service but they would charge for 2m they DID NOT come out to service ($112) since my account was open. I paid the $112 and as I could hear another worker refunding a customer because they didn’t come out to service but charged her in the background

3/25/26 Wonderful service from Anthony. Not only did he do a great job but he thoroughly explained what he was doing. His work was professional and he was courteous. Excellent preventative maintenance and Anthony is an excellent pest control professional. Prime has not let me down with their service and we are now going into our second year with Prime Pest Control completely satisfied. Prime Pest control is highly recommended. Jan 2026 update Anthony came out once again, he was efficient, courteous and polite. Great focus on the customer and meeting our needs. wholeheartedly recommend Prime Pest Control as the product works and great service provided. Dec 2025 update Very nice service again from Anthony. Prime Pest Control does a very good job. Anthony was courteous and very thorough. I sincerely hope Prime continues with their excellent customer focus when providing service as so many companies lack this quality these days. Sept 2025 update Prime did it again. Another outstanding service from Anthony. A lot of other businesses could learn from Prime Pest and Lawn. Anthony was polite, professional and listened. He did not rush through and was very thorough. I wish more companies hired workers who actually behaved as if they care for their customers. I don’t have one thing I can say against the service since I signed up with Prime Pest and Lawn. My home has been bug free. Keep up the great service! June 2025 Just had another wonderful service with Prime Pest. The technician, Jeremy was knowledgeable and efficient. The Prime service team is excellent with keeping the bugs away from my home—no pests inside at all. Jeremy was thorough and polite. He always listens to any concerns. So many places start out with good service then change. It is so refreshing that Prime continues excellent service. Do keep up the excellent work. Another update. I signed up with Prime in March this year and I have just had another great service from Darren. Seven months with them now and I could not be happier with Prime. Friendly and knowledgeable service techs and the products are working great to keep the bugs away. Darren is a sweetheart who is very thorough. I highly recommend Prime. July Update. I have been happy with the service but noticed with the recent rains there has been more bug activity. Called and was scheduled right away. On 7/1/24 Jeremy and Darren came by. Both were friendly and knowledgable and took the time to listen to my concerns. They asked about the ants and whether I saw any hills or mounds. Let them know it was just a few more than usual but not problem yet so want to head off any potential problem including with other bugs. Jeremy put down granules and Darren removed any webs. Great service, wonderful fellows. I like that the products don't have a loud chemical smell yet is still effective. Another excellent experience. Paul stopped by and was friendly and knowledgeable. I was already looking for a pest control service having used Orkin for service when I lived in Arizona. The service is very good, the technician Cristian who came out to service our house was very thorough and a just sweet guy. So far off to a wonderful start.

Anthony did a great job on my lawn.

Typically when a member from Prime comes by, I dont even know they're there. Sometimes I even wonder if they do anything (they do). Anthony, came to the door, asked me if we were having any issues and asked if we just wanted a spot treatment or the entire yard. It was so appreciated because we all know its springtime and a spot treatment wasn't going to do anything. Ty Anthony for asking me!!

Anthony serviced my house today and completed the task at hand in a timely fashion. He came to the front door to introduce himself before beginning and asked necessary questions to complete the process.

Quick & efficient lawn care & pest control service

Horrible business practice, horrible service. On every visit to my property excluding the first, the agreed upon work was not completed, if they showed up at all. I called on numerous occasions to have the tech return and complete the job. Customer support was polite, as was the tech, but the work was terrible, again, if they showed up at all. After canceling services with prime pest, I unknowingly continued to be billed and due to lack of payment they turned to charges over to a collection agency. Not recommended. Use at your own risk.

🚩 Crooks! If I could give negative stars I would! I have been calling for months to cancel a contract that I never even signed. They don’t show up, they cancel same day and never reschedule and still take your money. Blake is supposed to call back but never does. He emails that he tried to reach me but doesn’t. Apparently this is something many deal with when doing business with them.

Do NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL MY SERVICE FOR 6 months now and all they say is someone will call you back. No one ever calls but they keep charging the $87 monthly. Not worth the service they provide. 1/22/26 Spoke with Shanice she advised Blake will be giving me call let’s see if it happens.

This is one of those companies that does a good job while you have them, but absolutely refuse to let you cancel and keep charging you.

Beware of the sales team and management. They dont tell you that their service is by 2 year contract basis. When country to cancel, they dont return calls and still send technicians to your house to do services after you tell them you dont want any service until you resolve the cancelation. Be careful and think twice.

As mentioned by other reviewers, terrible contract practices. They coerced a family member into a 24 month contract, costing $70 monthly for pest + lawn. Despite charging monthly, they only visit every 2 months, which was obfuscated during the sales process. There was also an unmentioned $300 fee to cancel sooner than 24 months. Other companies in town are not nearly as expensive or predatory in their contract/sales process (we've had good experiences with Preventive Pest Control- short contract terms, and they charge per-service like you'd expect.) In addition, the service quality was poor. Like other reviewers mentioned, we often had no indication they actually came (no signs of insect spray, no reduction in ants). They also ignored our instructions during the lawn treatment and killed several plants we wanted left alive. Strongly recommend avoiding this company. Their high review average is also misleading- they give incentives for 5 star reviews.

Oh this is a fradulent scheme. I see someone turn up every month for 10 mins, with pest control. We want to stop it and are in a 2 year contract for $81 each month. Do not recommend it, it is one of "those" scams!

Do not sign! I thought I was signing to be charged and was tricked into an 18 month contract. Since we weren't sure when we were moving, there was no way I would of agreed to a contract. So they do 12 , 18 and 24 months!! After the first service they ask you right up front for a 5 star review. I gave it to them after that first service, but had to delete it. Wish I could do 0 stars. Customer service when I called was not helpful at all. They sure are not willing to work with you to make things right. They make sure they tell you you're in a contract and have to pay a ridiculous fee to cancel. I was told 200 and then I was told 300 for canceling. They are super shady. One told me I just needed to do was call and cancel my October service in September. Both times they failed to tell me it was October 2026!!! Another girl told me I had till April which would be the 12 month contract. So it seems like they changed me into a 18 month contract. She said she would call me back to see if I can move it to my location I'm moving to, but she never called back. I should of read the reviews first. I'll probably report this to the BBB and I suggest the others do too. As for their services. It doesn't work. And the blue from the weed killer looks as bad as having the actual weeds. Looks tacky. I wish I didn't do it. There are bugs everywhere. With them taking money out every month on the dot, their services seems quarterly. I have had to call in between for them to come back for a re serving since the bugs and weeds were still everywhere. If you need a service that works on pest and mosquitos, MOSQUITO SQUAD is the one and they don't do contracts. Neither do Buggy Man in Las Cruces. Insight does contracts and offer weed services too.

I have had 2 bad experiences with this technician. He spot sprays and when called to come back he comes back upset swinging his hands fast from side to side and still missed spots. Keep seeing lungs in my garage.

Terrible weed control service. Their product does not kill weeds.. it is just green food coloring mixed with water. They make you sign a contract for a year. Stating they come out once a month. It took a month and half to get them to return. When they did. They sprayed 2 spots only where the weeds were bad, and 3 days later the weeds are thriving. I called to cancel service and they have a $350 cancellation fee. Absolute terrible service.
