I would never employ such a company but they did however trespass and invade our property, spraying the yard so that now I cannot use it for my dogs. As well, we avoid any such pesticides. I realize that it was a mistake , but the company representative took no recourse to remedy the error.

The office manger is extremely unprofessional, the yard technicians always give you a reason why your lawn isn't improving and the guaranteed grass is a joke. Would never recommend

They damaged my shed 2 months ago and have not fixed it. It took weeks to even get a manager on the phone and they don’t plan to fix the whole part they damaged. They do not care about the customers.

We have been with Lawn Doctor since 2003. Every since Mark Mason retired the service and our lawn has gone down hill. Our lawn, shrubs and rocks (sprayed for weeds) have never looked so terrible. I have called several times in order for Lawn Doctor to address the issues but nothing ever changes. Recommend everyone read the most recent reviews. The only thing that keeps the 4 star rating is all the hard work and quality care Mark Mason put into the business. If I could I would give them zero stars. It's sad!!

My lawn actually looked worse than it did before their treatments. So, I canceled all services with the Lawn Doctor at the end of the summer. About 6 months later, they sent me past due notices for treatments rendered in the fall. I have ring cameras and have no record of them showing up for these services. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this with them, they threatened to send us to collections. We paid the amount to avoid our credit taking a hit even though there was no record of these services being performed and we had cancelled all services. This incident, per the other reviews does not seem to be a one time thing and highlights their blatant disregard for ethical business operations and customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against using the Lawn Doctor's services.

I honestly wish I could give them a zero star review. The quality of their services dropped significantly over the 2 years I had used them. In July I got frustrated to the point I called in and cancelled all of their services. Surprise to me in December when I got a past due notice for work they had completed in September and October. When I called and spoke with multiple agents and a manager they refused to remove the charges and stated that the delinquency would be sent to collections and reported to credit reporting agencies. The amount of money was relatively inconsequential, so I paid the fee and chalked it up to shady business practices. Please review the other recent reviews of this company. It should be obvious that this company does not deserve your business…

I’ve been a long time customer of Lawn Doctor, and for years things have been a series of up and downs. The service is quite costly, and the prices have gone up year after year (as expected), but with no warning. Many services that are considered extras are performed without prior consent and billed accordingly. They rarely communicate with the homeowner before coming out to perform extra services, and when services don’t work they are quick to apologize and not much else. It seems that every time you have a lawn issue that you would expect the program would cover they state it’s a special weed, fungus, or issue that’s not covered in your annual service billing. The service doesn’t cover much at all, and the techs never communicate with you more than hanging a flyer on your door with what they’ve done. The manager “Mike” is the only person you can speak to; he says he’ll call back, but you may need to call an additional 5-10 times to try and get ahold of anyone. This last paragraph really should tell you everything you need to know about their company. They are independently owned, but everyone (including Mike the manager) says they don’t know who the owner is. I asked for Mike’s last name at one point because I’ve dealt with multiple Mike’s, they told me “we’re not allowed to give you that information”. I asked if I could have a direct contact number for him; I was told they can’t give that out. What kind of company is this?! My first and last name are on my business cards, as well as my cell number. I finally said can I please just have your office address so I can come by and speak to someone in person about this, I’ve been a long time paying customer. Get ready….”We can’t give you that, but we have a PO Box”. Moral of the story this company doesn’t care about the customer. They make promises and fail to keep them. Their seasonal service won’t cover many if any of your issues. You won’t ever interact face to face with any real people. You have no contact info for anyone, no last names, no home office, they won’t even share the name of the owner.. If you think dealing with Comcast or Verizon is bad wait until you try Lawn Doctor.

Awesome staff and great service

I will never ever use this company ever again and I will never recommend them to anyone. They completely destroyed my yard and when I call them to come take a look at it to see what it has become after their services, they just tell me that it needs more water. I have a sprinkler system that runs 20 mins each watering, twice a day. There’s no way my yard doesn’t get enough water.

Inquired about the services they offer, just randomly showed up at my door while I was at work, no call no email… Left me a quote hanging on the door which explained nothing about their services. Yeah, gonna be a no from me big dog! Good luck 🍀

The worst experience ever! This company destroyed my grass and charged me to repair it. The product used on my lawn burned my entire yard. My yard was the won't in the neighborhood. I was the only one in my neighborhood that used a Lawn company to treat my grass. Do not waste your money. They will not take responsibility for their mistake. Worst experience ever! Total waste of $$$.

employees were very professional and polite but the outcome of the services was horrible. My lawn looks worse than it did before they started their services. What a waste of my $1,100 which I could have used on my bills. Will never use service again

I'm really dissatisfied with the service from lawn doctor. I have never left a bad review in my life before now. Before I started using lawn doctor my lawn was regarded as the most beautiful in the neighborhood now it's mostly dead. On two separate services I received a large hole and skidmark in my yard from the tires on the equipment they use. Then they came and sprayed my grass on one of the hottest days in July and the grass burned and died in a matter of hours. Apparently whatever chemicals they sprayed killed my grass because it turned a burnt black color immediately after they were here. A professional company should know not to spay pesticides on grass in Temps above 90 and that's exactly what they did it was 98 that day. Honestly this made me the angriest out of anything that happed because my whole lawn died. The next time they came they recommended a heavy seeding service that costs 300 dollars along with other services to fix my lawn which was beautiful before I hired them. I not saying it was intentional but it seems that way, almost like they killed the grass and then charge a bundle to "fix" it. It is going to take a lot of work and money to remedy their mess and I would not recommend them to anyone. I will be updating this with before and after photos soon, don't make the mistake I made by hiring them.

When I first purchased my home I continued the Lawn Doctor service from the deceased previous owner, kept it going for a few years and they still kept referencing my property to the old owner, even after I told them many times, I am the new owner. I did not feel the phone service was great and the lawn care diminished over severs years. I canceled. I keep getting adds to my home (in my name now) but I am uneasy with starting services again.

Nobody beats the lawn Doctor if you want your grass to look just right

Very professional, came exactly when they said they would. Not sure if they completed the backyard but I'm excited to see how great my yard will be after a few more treatments
