Fox Pest Control is amazing. I’ve had them since October 2025 and any concerns I have ( or ants I see) they come right out and handle it. Every tech has been nice and super knowledgeable. If a time doesn’t work for me they find one that will. I haven’t seen any mice in my back yard and they are working on the mini black ants that are so annoying. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is! They found me by knocking on my door last year, and I signed up with them because their price was so good! And I was inundated by these huge mice in our backyard because of where our house is located, nestled up against one of our beautiful mountains in Reno. And not only have I not seen one mouse since they started coming, but they will come back and do a revisit for free. If you have any problems, we haven’t seen an ant or a spider not one bug or any pest anywhere since doing business with them. I just hired them for a gentleman that I do caregiving for. He Had me call Orkin because that’s who he does business with and they were outrageously priced so I asked him to let me call Fox Pest Control because I’ve been so happy with them and not only did they come in hundreds of dollars Cheaper than the quote from Orkin, but they came out immediately and found exactly where the rodents were getting in the house. I mean they go above and beyond to fix the problem. The technician’s name was Josh M and he was so amazingly awesome. Josh was very professional and helpful and he spent over an hour here making sure that he blocked off every point of entry and figured out exactly where they were getting in and where they had chewed holes in the sheet rock which you had to dig to find! Anyway, you cannot go wrong with Fox Pest Control. I have been a very happy customer. Give them a try.

Kid knocked on my door ignoring my no soliciting sign and continued to talk as I pointed and referred to the sign multiple times. Once I stepped out and was visibly more irritated did he notice the sign. There is no way not to notice it unless you are purposely doing so. If you do outside sales you should expect these signs to exist and look for them before knocking. He even tried to say my neighbor sent him to me which would never happen then switched to he was looking for my neighbor. Bad practices by this company with regards to this. Deters me from using them for services even if I was inclined to prior.

We were approached at our door by a young woman who presented her company as a small, family-owned business. She claimed to handle all the billing and phone duties herself while attending school to become a nurse—a detail she specifically mentioned after noticing my wife in scrubs. We appreciated the story and decided to support what we believed was a local, independent operation. However, after some quick research, we discovered this is actually a large corporation that owns multiple other companies. When we confronted them about the misrepresentation, they simply informed us of a $250 cancellation fee and proceeded to charge us without addressing our concerns or showing any accountability. It's disappointing to encounter such deceptive sales tactics.

If I could give this company zero stars, I absolutely would. Fox Pest Control has been one of the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest companies I’ve ever dealt with, from the very first interaction to the way management handled the situation afterward. When the sales representatives first came to my home, I wasn’t there — my pregnant wife answered the door. Instead of greeting her respectfully, they immediately questioned her credibility as the homeowner. She told them she was the owner, and they flat-out said, “No you’re not,” followed by comments like, “You look like you’re 15 or 12 years old.” She is 25 years old and pregnant. They continued making inappropriate remarks about her age throughout the visit, even while walking around our house discussing services. Their behavior was condescending, unprofessional, and extremely uncomfortable for her. Despite that, my wife tried to look past the comments and continued asking questions about the service. One of the representatives, Rudy, promised that if we ever wanted to cancel, he would personally waive the $200 cancellation fee. Based on that assurance, we signed up. We also made it very clear that my wife was pregnant and we had pets, and asked specifically if the products were safe. Rudy confidently said, “Yes, completely safe — nothing harmful to pets or people.” When the first technician came to perform the initial treatment, she immediately told us to put the dogs away and not touch anything because “the products are poisonous.” She said it very matter-of-factly — completely opposite of what we were told by Rudy and his team. This was alarming, dishonest, and made us feel tricked into a service under false pretenses. After that first spray, our bug problem wasn’t solved and they never returned for a follow-up treatment. We kept calling the company, and it took nearly two months for a manager to finally get back to us. When he did, he was completely dismissive. His response was basically, “I wasn’t there, so I don’t know if that happened. You signed the contract, so if you cancel, you’ll be charged.” No apology. No attempt to make things right. No accountability for his employees’ conduct or misinformation. This experience has been infuriating and deeply disappointing. From the inappropriate comments made to my pregnant wife, to the lies about product safety, to the refusal to follow through on promised services — this company has shown zero integrity, zero accountability, and zero respect for customers. I’ve never written a review this long before, but I feel it’s absolutely necessary to warn others: Do not trust Fox Pest Control. They are deceptive, unprofessional, and completely careless when it comes to how they treat customers — especially families. If this is how they handle business, imagine what corners they cut when it comes to the actual service.

Based on my experience over the last couple months. This company needs a lot of improvement l. The communication and promises need to be followed and completed. We had Rudy show up promising the world and that he was better than the other companies. Upon taking his sales speech agreed along with my neighbor an agreement with specific details. To our agreement they were not followed and come to find out what we thought was a monthly service was a quarterly service paid monthly. After having a couple different companies service my house found this odd especially after being promised monthly service. Called to complain found they would not switch the service. Manager Randy called accepting the arrangement originally agreed upon. They scheduled a service to comply with agreement but didn’t show up upon the time requested but earlier and pulling my lawn furniture out and away and leaving it out for me to put back for them. Randy the branch manager expressed his empathy but still not acceptable based off the fact they cannot listen to simple requests. As a business owner this was unacceptable. I cannot do business with a company that does not follow standard business practices or train their employees to reflect professional work standards

Met with Rudy from fox pest control 2 months ago. He came rolling up in my driveway on his one wheel. I asked what he was selling. He said “his personality.” Coming from a sales and customer service background I liked his answer so I let him do his speech. He claimed that he worked for fox for a long time and they have the best service and will beat anyone’s prices and they do more than any other service around. We went back and forth for an hour. We invited him into our home and back yard to show him exactly what we wanted done if we signed up. He made detailed notes on what my request was and that I was only available on Mondays. I had my good friend and neighbor over at the time and we went over what he requested for service. Rudy agreed and said he would make all that happen. We also compared my buddies current monthly servicing with a local company and said his monthly was better deal and they were going to do more with spraying, traps, barn and under house every month. We gave him some of our fresh chickens eggs as he used to raise chickens at his home country and was a good gesture. We both signed as we liked him and he made detailed notes about our requests. Upon our first servicing, nothing was handled as we were promised. All the spider webs were still present and the guy had no idea what to do. Then we were informed they were a new company in the area. We were both very unhappy and waited till Our next month to service. Now finding out it was billed monthly and servicing quarterly. We were both like what!?! -but you can call us anytime they said after my buddy called. So fast forward to yesterday, they scheduled me for a Thursday to service me and I text back like what? I am only available Mondays, do you read the notes on my file. I get a call from the driver heading out there and I’m like man, please have a manager call me so I can go over what I was promised and what you are delivering to me. I get a call from an office lady to talk about it. I fill her in on what’s going on and I ask for a manager to call me. A manager named Randy called today. Randy was very good and super apologetic but I don’t think this company has any good communication or any at all. The tech here was below standard and the company needs work all around.

Beware of the pushy salesperson. This guy was so nice he paid for the first visit. Hurry and sign up, he says, the truck is in the neighborhood and the treatment is organic. He talked to me like a great friend. I'm older and am really upset that He swindled me into signing up for a year. 50 dollars a month. I told him, no more than 3 times. He scared me into saying yes. If you're like me, you have 3 DAYS to cancel the contract. I wouldn't trust this company.

They came to my door I politely told him not interested. 2 weeks later they came to my door after dark and you can see they pull on the door handle before even knocking or ring the doorbell. Both times they have completely ignored my "no soliciting" sign. I shared my review on Yelp and next door and see there are many many complaints with the same issues. I hope the managers and owners of this company read this because something bad or tragic could happen if you're young salesman go up to the doors after dark and start pulling on door handles. NO THANK YOU and please do not come back

Unfortunately, did not work out for us. The sales person was very friendly and made it sound like a wonderful service and we signed up The workers who came out the first time said they were only booked an hour, and there was no way they could do our very large house for the cobwebs and treatment Why they were booked only one hour for a house of my size makes absolutely no sense to me The second time someone came out, he was alone. It was almost sunset, and he said being alone and almost getting dark he would not be able to finish the service either, but did spray some wall spray into my overhead lights on the patio, which dripped all over my patio furniture. After that, I chose to cancel and not deal with it anymore The one star was for how friendly everyone was but service communication and organization just wasn’t there for me.

A few weeks ago, a technician from this company came to my door offering services. While our initial conversation was polite, the technician used stereotypical tactics, mentioning fictitious neighbors who supposedly used Fox and claiming he could offer me a lower rate because he "hates landlords." I explained that I am a tenant and needed to discuss with my landlord before proceeding. Two days later, I contacted Fox through email, their online contact form, and left a voicemail to formally decline their services. I also immediately removed my payment information from the customer portal. Despite these efforts, my cancellation request was not acknowledged. Instead, I received a text from a technician claiming they couldn't see my payment details on their end. I reiterated that I wanted to cancel and had already removed my payment info. The technician said he would pass along my cancellation request. Later, I received an email stating that cancellations cannot be processed via email for security reasons— which I found odd. I was so frustrated at that point that I did not respond further. On September 8th, I received a surprise text informing me a technician was scheduled to arrive the next day. I immediately called Fox and was put on hold for five minutes without speaking to a human. I left another voicemail, making this my sixth attempt to cancel, and provided all necessary identifying information, explicitly warning I would not pay or accept service if a technician arrived. A few hours later, I received a voicemail demanding a real-time conversation to cancel, which I ignored. As expected, I then received a message the next day saying a technician was on the way. I blocked their numerous numbers they contact you from and chose not to respond when they rang my doorbell, as I informed them I would do. Overall, I find this company to be unprofessional, persistent, and disrespectful of customers' wishes. Their approach feels aggressive and predatory, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I originally considered using their services if needed in the future, but after this experience, I will definitely avoid them.

Not very professional. There are many better local options. They kill bees, work out of their private vehicles, and do door-to-door canvasing, aka trespassing on Sundays in gated communities.
