So, a few weeks ago I emailed Mosquito Shield and asked for a quote. About a day later I received a quote by email. I took that quote and compared it with a few other quotes I received from other companies. On 3/17/26 I received an email from a Brad Maher from Mosquito Sheild asking if I had any questions and if I wanted to sign up for their services. I emailed Brad back and kindly explained I went with another company who had a lower quote. I received another email back from Brad asking why would I go with a lower quote and lower is not better. And they are not the cheapest because they use high quality products, etc, etc. So I emailed Brad back and asked what products do you use. He wrote back and said they use 2 a natural one made out of 3 different oils made from Castor Oil, Rosemary Oil, Peppermint Oil, Citronella Oil and Geraniol. Then their insecticide one was called Bifenthrin. Now the company who I went with told me to watch out for companies that use Bifenthrin because it's a cheap insecticide that many companies use and it's over used in the Mosquito and Tick spraying industry. This is why Mosquitos are becoming resistant to that chemical. Plus it does not have a long residual and has to be sprayed every 2 weeks. The company I went with uses microencapsulated insecticide and rates them every few months and uses a sticker for better coverage and helps the chemicals hold up better in the elements. And they spray once a month. I did a little research and found the company I went wjth was telling me the truth.I explained this Brad in an email and he shot me back an email with a nasty tone to it. Basically telling me good luck and the other company is selling me a bill of goods and they been doing this 24 years and blah blah blah. I do not appreciate being lied to nor trying to be sold a bill goods that doesn't fit with what I want for my property. Why would I wanna use a company using inferior products who have to spray twice as many times compared to another company who can spray less and for a better price. The company I went with also gave me a list of customers they serve to call for a reference. I called all of them and they said the service is fantastic! Another factor is Brad's negative emails back to me because i went with another company. Sorry Mosquito Shield, but you lost me as a customer for life.

I’ve been using MS for years now. Just added a second home this year. I like the company and the people. I called to see if I could get some sort of discount for two homes and they offered me a $25 discount per home for having two homes. My first question is why didn’t they offer that before, plus the second home I have is a tenth the size of the first home. I’d like to pre-pay and I think a little better discount would be appropriate. I’m retired now and trying to conserve. Please let me know if anything else is possible.

Great company, and fair pricing. I was in a jam where another company cancelled on me. So I called up Mike and he came out on a saturday afternoon before our party. 5 stars for their A+ customer service/communication and extremely effective mosquito and tick treatments! I live near some wetlands and have not been able to enjoy my outdoor space for years because I’m usually a mosquito super-magnet - I get swarmed constantly whenever I’m outside. Mosquito Shield has been a game-changer! I can now sit comfortably outside (even at dusk!!) and enjoy my deck and yard! If you get even a single mosquito bite between treatments, all you have to do is send a quick text and they’ll have someone back out to your house ASAP to do an additional treatment. And, with the tick treatments, my dog is also able to fully enjoy our yard - I haven’t pulled a tick off of her since we started with Mosquito Shield! My only regret is we didn’t start these services sooner - worth every cent. Thanks, Mosquito Shield!

At the beginning it was a great service but unfortunately with years of cooperation I had to cancel it cuz of quality was dropped dramatically

We’ve been using Mosquito Shield and while the idea of having regular treatments is great, the execution has been a bit disappointing. They come every 17 days, but I really wish they would stick to a true 2-week schedule—it would make a noticeable difference during peak mosquito season. What’s more frustrating is that when the technician does come, the spraying is done at lightning speed. It honestly makes you question whether the entire property is being properly covered. For the price we’re paying, I’d expect a more thorough application and a more consistent schedule. Hoping to see some improvements going forward.

The number of times the service comes is great. The hard part is the price keeps increasing every year. So I may have to look at another company.

I have had Mosquito Shield for many years. They spray for mosquitoes and ticks. They come many times during the season and are responsive if you need them for a specific date. Do they kill EVERY mosquito.. no, but it is a LOT better!

We have been customers of Mosquito Shield for years and have been happy with the service. We have noticed a significant decline in quality this year. We constantly have mosquitos even with a second visit at our request x 2. They were acquired by Five Star Franchising in March of this year. Clearly not a good move for both of them. Quality has declined and we will be moving on to a more reliable company. New update: even after another visit we still have mosquitoes. We didn’t have this problem before the change in acquisition. I think we’ll be moving on.
Still having ongoing problems even after spraying. Very disappointed in this service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Cannot Recommend!! We paid upfront based on the unconditional money back guarantee. We had mosquitos all summer. The product and service does not work. They kept offering to respray and said if the problem continued they'd refund our money. When we finally asked for a full refund, they said no. Their website says an unconditional money back guarantee. They would not honor. In my opinion, this is not a good company and not trust worthy.
