Have increased their monthly fees annually for the past two years. I pay for annual tick and mosquito treatment, they are supposed to come out monthly but upon review of services they have only been out once this year to treat. In addition, you cannot get ahold of anyone when you call. I pay for the annual all inclusive service which is now almost $800/year and in addition have to pay $108 for once a month tick and mosquito spraying. Paying well over $1500/year and still have to call them to try and get the ants under control but again,......can't get ahold of anyone. EVER
Worked with proof. pest for nearly three years. Noticed the service took a big downgrade in 2025 but I had never real had “issues” with pests and was generally happy with the preventative care because well nothing to complain about if they were showing up and no major pests problems. All changed this summer when my house was overrun by wasps/yellow jackets. I called four times between mid-May thru end of July and had techs come out as many times. I got very weird responses by the techs that were documented in the summary. The two that set me off were “there were nests that were too high for me to reach” and “I saw wasps but couldn’t find a nest so didn’t do anything”. After the second excuse I called and was told I needed to wait two weeks before service and sure enough the wasps invaded and got into my interior. Total panic set in and I went crazy killing these things off one by one. I purchased over hundred dollars of supplies and did everything in my power to deal with something that should have been easily dealt with months ago and that I paid 65 bucks a month with the expectation I would never have to deal with this. Needless to say I called to cancel today. They offered to involve a manager, but at this point the relationship was over. Do not recommend. Cannot handle the real pest issues. Update: the owners responded and interpreted my review incorrectly. The nest was at the front door, not high up at all and certainly not 25ft. I handled myself. Service technicians made weird comment in their notes that was a lie. That was my point. 2nd point also misinterpreted by ownership as they said they couldn’t service within 14 days due to regulation. Their technician noted not putting anything because they didn’t see nest. They actually can come back after a couple days and do the job if nothing is done. Just lies left and right. Another reason I am glad I am done with this company.

I’m sorry to hear this was your experience with proof. Although we cannot prevent wasps from coming onto your property, we can remove any nests that are present up to 25ft. This is the maximum height of the technician’s service pole. Wasps can be an ongoing issue throughout the summer as they continue to forage and local regulations won’t allow applications in a shorter time frame than 14 days. We are committed to doing everything we can to treat all persistent pests in a safe and compliant matter
This place is an absolute scam. I was told they will take care of all potential pest entry holes and stuffs, but all they did was showing up 5 mins to spray a bit pesticide outside of your home every 2 months. I was told that I can cancel anytime free of penalty when I was signing the contract that if I'm not happy with the service, but when I call them to cancel they said I need to pay them a $250 penalty just to cancel the service. Do not trust a single word from these guys and stay away from them at all

This is a follow up to my below glowing review. One of the reasons for giving glowing reviews is to receive good treatment in the future. That idea just got blown out the window: I'm away from the house, construction is underway on a back deck, a worker was just stung, yellow jackets are swarming and work has stopped, and I was told PPC could not send someone until Friday. It is 4pm on Wed now. That delay is unacceptable for a local company literally right next door. So, I canceled my contract. Amanda did a fine job today explaining what she was going to do and what she was looking. I liked that she found a wasp nest I didn't know about and she was able to squirt some ant hills I did know about. She was very professional and would not let me walk around with her! I can relate to nearly every one-star review posted here. This company has demonstrated a consistent lack of professionalism. From October through May, every appointment we scheduled was canceled at the last minute and rescheduled due to what they claimed were technician emergencies. I’ve never encountered a company with such a high frequency of “emergencies.” The quality of service is extremely poor. Despite multiple visits, my tenant continues to report sightings of mice. The interior of the building is never serviced, and I genuinely question whether the exterior is being treated at all. Technicians appear on unannounced days, and I only receive an email afterward—leaving me with no transparency or confidence in the work performed.

Not a true guarantee-just marketing gimmicks, buyer beware! I thought I was paying $1000 for a pest free guarantee. It turns out problem wasn't gone. And their GUARANTEE IS ONLY GOOD FOR 30 DAYS!!! When I called them to say issue wasn't improved after their 2 sprays (part of the full $1,000 package) they said we will come out and spray again (a third time)....however you can only spray every 14 days, so the 30 day guarantee period finished with just one more spray and issue still persisting. (Other companies can do this much cheaper). Problem (which wasn't big to begin with) still was not gone, barely any improvement. When I called again, they said they can come out again but I'd have to sign another $1,000 contract with them.... I was tricked by their marketing. I thought they'd be efficient and best in their field since they had stellar reviews. But this is how they get their reviews: When a technician comes out to your house the first time, they send an email saying they will tip the technician if you give a 5 start review. Seems to me they are buying these reviews, and for cheap! So disappointed with a company with tricky marketing gimmicks, and so little substance, since not only did they not fix the problem quickly, but they also overcharged about 10x more than the typical pest control company. I hired another company after them, which did not break the bank, and now my property is truly pest free.

Worst company. I hired them to take care of 3 of my properties. They will lock you in with discounts and then make you pay back the discounts when you cancel due to poor services (over $900). Beware of them. I still have mice problems. The bates didn't work. Rats are everywhere. The mosquitos were still around and biting me in September. Spiders still everywhere. We also had them spray for wasps and it didn't work. They initially came without a ladder. Then, came with a short ladder and sprayed blindly. I had to hire out another company to do the job. Proof Pest are incompetent. Savvy Brilliant business model: They will give you discounts and force you to pay it back when you cancel due to poor services. This ensures they will get paid no matter what. I would give zero stars if I could.

This business is a scam. The sale rep Eddie claimed that they were a small business owner, and that they had been servicing the house for the previous owner. If we were not happy then all money back guaranteed. All the claims they made were just sale tactics to make us sign a contract, as the sale rep was NOT the business owner among other things (and previous owners used different service. We had our first service, was not satisfied, called to cancel, the company said they would have to charge a cancellation fee of $500. We had to talk at length about how we were misled by Eddie and finally we were able to cancel without a fee. However, we were already charged for the second service that was never scheduled (and the business said they could not refund that charge). Beware of this scam.

We had a sales person going door to door in our neighborhood today (6/25/24). I attempted to politely decline a conversation (outside, in the sun, in 90 degree heat). The associate pushed, and I explained that our family was not interested in the service. He was extremely rude and responded to my statements with sarcasm. I understand that sales involves some level of persistence and tenacity, but you should never be rude to a potential customer. If this is any indication of the customer service of this business, stay far, far away!

Hi, In the past I have been happy with Proof but this treatment was very disappointing. I was not at home but my husband was here and spoke to the technician. Technician reported he ran out of something he sprinkled only near the front door. I had reported seeing anthills in the back yard. He was here less than 15 minutes, at least 5 of which were spent in his truck. My husband felt he did a poor job and didn’t seem interested in doing a thorough job. My husband is very frustrated and plans to call Proof. We pay a lot of money for this service and it is troubling that we have to watch the technician to see if they are doing their job. At this point we may cancel Proof. We are unhappy with the service right now.
