Brian M. is awesome! He is very friendly, incredibly professional and always does an excellent job. We have had Brian as our lawn technician for the last 7 years and have no plans to move. Thanks, Brian for taking such good care of us!

Use caution if you decide to stop services with this company. You must call and formally cancel your account. If you do not, they will send you marketing offers with “discounted renewal pricing” if you choose to renew. What is not clearly disclosed upfront — and is only referenced in fine print — is that your service will automatically renew anyways unless you request to cancel after all steps in your current plan are complete. I only became aware of this when technicians arrived at my home and treated my yard while I was away. When I contacted the company to ask them why they were at my house since I chose not to call and renew and because my account showed nothing about a 2026 treating plan, they explained that my plan had auto-renewed under their terms and my account would be updated after the first treatment was completed. The conversation became tense when I raised concerns about the clarity of their marketing practices. Fortunately, they canceled my plan. Just a heads-up for anyone considering or currently using their services if you plan on cancelling.

First time having Gage do our lawn treatment. He was very patient, interested, and respectful. Look forward to having him take care of our lawn this season!

I returned to Lawn Doctor after wasting my time and money with a competitor. I'm so glad I did! I saw drastic improvements to my lawn, based on the products used and the exceptional service provided by my technician, Ricky C. The "we're coming" text alerts allowed me to meet and speak with Ricky directly on a regular basis to discuss any issues or concerns. Ricky is very professional, a great listener and strives to ensure his clients are happy. I look forward to working with Ricky in 2026!!

Always fast, courteous service that is fairly priced. They have been servicing my yard for over 10 years. Harley has been our technician for a number of years and is great! He doesn’t act like you’re bothering him when you ask a million questions..

Do a great job lawn looks beautiful year after year especially with 1 Large dog. The staff are very nice and professional. Been using for over 10 years & would highly recommend them. You can't go wrong. They always call or text the Day before to let you know they are coming out.

This was my first service with Eddie as our Tech (we had Thomas and LOVED him). I was able to meet with Eddie and fortunately I don't have lawn concerns right now, but he was friendly and willing to talk about any concerns I had. Im looking forward to getting to know Eddie better and continue with the great service that our last tech started.

Anthony did a great job, as always. The Lawn Doctor crew is why my lawn has recovered from years of neglect by the prior owner and my awkward attempts. Thanks again and highly recommend!

I'm sorry but I have to edit my post from 2 years ago. I've been happy but recently it service seems to be going downhill. I'm noticing more weeds then usual throughout and I understand that you can call and they are happy to come out and address but it seems more and more I have to do this which I feel,It shouldn't have to be done as often so I just stopped calling. I feel the technician should be addressing these as they are here. I'm thinking of changing services if after the next treatment the clovers and crabgrass are still present. The office and management staff are still very responsive and nice to deal with, just feel like quality of service has diminished.

Around this time last year, I complained about how brown our lawn had gotten after using lawn dr to reseed our lawn. I was told when they sent out someone to inspect it was because we had shade grass prior to us having our lawn reseeded with Lawn Dr, and it was choaking out the new grass. I am writing this review because our lawn "was" green but had bad patches when we called. Now, every year our whole lawn looks like we are in a desert. Dry grass everywhere! Before we called we actually HAD a lot more green vs now. I would not use this company for any type of seeding. They ruined our lawn by plugging our lawn with the wrong seed, and the repair will cost way too much for us to obsorb. It's a really bad situation and each year it has just proven that they messed our lawn up beyond what we can repair. Now our lawn has dry patches everywhere. We wasted a few thousand so I warn you before you too have this happen to you.

Corey always arrives on schedule, respects the property and completes in a timely manner. Whenever I have questions or concerns, I get the best customer service. As with everything prices have increased but when you get great service and results you dont mind paying for it. Our lawn is the best in my neighborhood. It's healthy, green and lush. I also love the email newsletters!!!

We've lived here 30+ yrs and only ever had one lawn service, maybe 25? yrs. LAWNDOCTOR / Tony Richardson. We always have a beautiful lawn for our grand daughters to enjoy. What more could I ask or say?

Lawn Doctor has been our lawn care provider for at least 15 years. Our lawn is weed free and looks great. Anthony has been our technician and he is very competent and friendly. He does a great job and is very accessible when I have questions about the lawn. We started out with nutrient deficient soil and a thin lawn and now due to Anthony’s recommendations, our lawn looks great year after year.

Joey came today and serviced our lawn, great job as always. I’d recommend this guy to anyone for lawn care. He’s diligent, works quickly, he is careful to be sure to cover the whole lawn. This is our second year with Lawn Doctor. We couldn’t be happier, and thanks to the Joey’s excellence! Thank you Joey!

I’ve used lawn Dr for many years , a few years ago they raised the prices so I went to true green. Boy was that a mistake! I had to crawl back to lawn dr and beg for forgiveness. They have always been the ones I thank for me having the best lawn in my neighborhood. Jimmy always walks back thru my yard to double check his work and clears all the walks. Angel is hands down the best at customer support with her laughs and willingness to make me feel like a customer not a dollar. She knows I’ll never stray from Lawn Dr again. This company is the worst! I canceled their service due to being billed without receiving service. They then billed me for the service and called the Finksburg Maryland office and was told that it had been sent to collections. The manager was rude and the service is sub-par!!! Don't do business with these people. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

They lied to my about my bill now they hurt my credit don’t use this company!

I would not hesitate to recommend another lawn company. We started last year with a package involving fertilizing treatments and a spring crab grass preventer, etc. I questioned this as our main concern was growing grass as we had many bare spots from a previous spring pool installation, but we were told that we should seed in fall and use their process. One summer with a crappy lawn for the promise of a rich full lawn, like the completely untreated lawn on the other side of the fence in the "common area" and the neighbors across the street, sure I'll make that sacrifice. Fall comes the seed is planted, we water for a month and change, and tada we have a lawn again. All is well. Spring arrives I notice we have no grass in the same areas we previously planted and some worse, much worse. Not a big deal I feel as I will wait until it warms up to plant some seed on my own from the local farm supply. But alas, we go on spring vacation to get back to a note on the door that Lawn Doctor was here. I questioned why as I asked my wife not to renew, but apparently they just assume to keep coming, which also would not be a huge deal IF THE TECH THAT CAME NOTICED ALL OF MY BALD GRASS SPOTS AND DID NOT JUST TREAT THE CRAB GRASS FREE YARD WITH CRAB GRASS PREVENTER PREVENTING ME FROM EVEN PLANTING MY OWN UNTIL THE FALL. After a complaint to the Lawn Doctor stating the grass last year did not hold we were told we would get a reseeding in the fall under warranty. NOT ideal, but what can you do. So today we get a text saying Lawn Doctor will be at our house tomorrow and once again I ask why and say I don't need my lawn treated, I just want the grass I asked for and I will just wait until the reseeding in the fall. To which their reply was "you need to coninue to pay for our treatments to receive the WARRANTIED grass seeding in the fall" My reply was that we no longer wanted any Lawn Doctor services and I'll seed my own lawn. This will be THREE YEARS with a substandard lawn that should have only been ONE all thanks to Lawn Doctor of Finksburg!

Hired them to seed and patch my lawn. I have less grass now than what i started with. Whatever they put completely burnt out my lawn. I have literally half my front lawn dried out to just dirt. I called to tell them and they sent out someone to give me a new quote on how much it would cost what they ruined.

Always very pleased.

Did not improve lawn as promised and more expensive compared to other companies. Will send staff to provide treatments that are not approved and blame it on fine print. Recommend shopping around for other service providers.
