It sucks it’s always something

Had to let the company go after 6 years of service. They started to relax how things were done, never wanting to check bait stations inside or out. Eventually they even stopped scheduling their service and claimed to have visited last week and nobody answered the door so they only treated the exterior; i was home all day and there were no door hangers left behind. Sad to see another Muncie business that does not want to be their best.

My mother is 77 years old and on a fixed income she called American Pest Control they came out to check everything out they told her for heat treatment for bedbugs it’s 1200 that they open all cabinets, drawers flip everything and that it takes up to 8-9 hr. for this whole treatment. Mom had to sell two of her properties just to pay for this and they guaranteed 1 month. Oh they also said they would be stragglers and not to worry. A month is almost up and she did notice stragglers so she called them in hopes they would come out instead they tell her there just stragglers and wouldn’t come out and if she still had them after a month it’s because someone brought them back in the house. They would come back out before the warranty was up so now she has bedbugs still and is out 1200 for a job when they was suppose to be there heating the place for 8-9 hours instead it was 2. I don’t recommend this place for anyone they take your money and run with it and don’t do their job.

Provided inaccurate information.It gets better, the post they want to do something to resolve the issue but then state that they can do nothing.

If I could give zero stars, I would, I had them come out to take care of an ant issue. Everytime they came out they were late and my ants got worse. They lost my check and I had to pay to put stop payment on my check. Very unprofessional. Eventually I called another local company and they came out on time and very professional and my ants were gone.

0/10 The biggest rip off ever. I had a small flea problem and wanted it to be taken care of before I moved locations to avoid any issues with bringing the fleas with me. The first appointment, I met the guy and he said it was bad enough that he would have to send the crew the next day. The first guy had a large sprayer that would resemble a professional substance that only a professional trained exterminator could get a hold of or use--but he did not use that. The SECOND GUY who actually treated the apartment came with a single can, pre-used can of PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Aerosol; he sprayed for roughly 3 minutes and left. PT Alpine is the exact active ingredient that I had used the day before by myself and cost me $10 from Lowe's. The can they used can be bought for $23 for a 20oz can. I was charged $150 for 10oz of the over-the-counter spray and told afterwards that the sprayer did not even notice a flea issue. If they had sprayed with the professional chemical, I would not bat an eye. But this is a joke operation and a swindlers operations.

This company ripped my poor sighted elderly mother off for years. Had her on a quarterly service where they put out termite traps, sprayed for spiders on the outside of the house (you know the bugs that eat other bugs), occasionally looked around inside the house for non-existent bugs and placed sticky mouse traps in the garage that never caught any mice because there weren't any there. The termite traps were supposed to protect the house but I found termites in the wood trim inside the house. They denied any responsibility and charged her more to spray the area where I found the termites.

I highly dont recommend this place they were no help to me my friend called in for me to ask if they treated cars for bugs and then I called to set up a inspection and told me they don't treat cars so if u got bugs in your car and try to get help from this company dont cuz your already screwed like I am

An elderly family member of mine called them for an estimate on treating a pest problem in there home. They priced them at $1400.00 to treat a small trailer. The family member informed us the day after and we decided to look around for other prices. We found out they where very overpriced and the treatment they planned on doing was not very effective. So he cancelled the next day but found out they already charged his credit card the $1400. They did a refund but it took several days before it was credited back. Get at least 3 estimates before choosing one. He went with someone out of Anderson that only charged $500 and that included coming back in 2 weeks and treating again, plus another follow up visit to make sure the problem is gone.
