Kelsey is fantastic
Their "pest inspection" is just checking for insects. They do not tell you this, so beware. They came they peeked a tiny bit and collected the money saying "evidence of dead insects". 1 month later after purchasing the home, I have Terminix come out and walked the property with me to double check because, per Aardvark, most of my house was "inaccessible". Odd, but whatever. Terminix advised me to file a formal complaint as I have active termites, mice, AND rats. No notes or mentions in the Aardvark report of these vital concerns that I was I had known before purchasing the property. They didnt even raise concern of active/fresh damage. Terminix has promised to handle everything for me including repairs for $1800 for the repairs and first year of protection. Then $400 annual after the first year. So that $300 "pest inspection" (aka yeah there were insects at one time, give me money) with Aardvark was more damage than it was ever worth. I am aware that repairs were needed regardless, but I'm asking professionals to act professional. Had they advised ACCURATELY, they would have gotten my buy in, but since I had to find out they are shady on my own accord, I will never sing praises about Aardvark. Ever. Do not use this company. Either the company doesn't care or the reps don't. Either way, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF YOUR HOME on this company. It will cost you big time in the end because they only cared about that inspection fee. Do better. Don't respond with some bs "we want to help" either. If you wanted to help, you would have shown more concern when I called asking about scampering above my bed. However, you were only interested in advising that PEST inspections only check for insects and all other evidence of pests doesn't matter and therefore ignored. I hope you have the day you deserve.

We need to correct several factual inaccuracies in this review.<br><br>You did not order a general pest inspection. You ordered a VA Wood Destroying Insect inspection, which is a very specific report governed by VA and HUD requirements. By law and by VA guidelines, that inspection and report are limited strictly to wood destroying insects and must be documented on the NPMA 33 form. We are not permitted to comment on rodents, general pests, or non wood destroying conditions within that report, regardless of personal concerns expressed before or after the inspection.<br><br>At the time of inspection, no active termites were found. Because no termites were present, the property was issued a one year termite warranty, which remains valid. Any claim that termites were identified later by another company does not change the findings or conditions at the time of the VA inspection.<br><br>The statement that “most of the house was inaccessible” is misleading. All areas required and reasonably accessible under VA inspection standards were inspected and documented. VA inspections are visual and non invasive by design.<br><br>Additionally, the total fee charged included a VA required water quality test, which is a separate service mandated for VA financing. The fee was not solely for the insect inspection.<br><br>If you were seeking evaluation of rodents, mice, rats, or general pest activity, that requires a different type of inspection and was not what was ordered. VA inspections are not broad pest inspections and cannot be represented as such.<br><br>All services were performed correctly, ethically, and in full compliance with VA standards and reporting requirements. We stand by our inspection, our documentation, and our professionalism.

I highly recommend Ardvark. We use them for routine maintenance ever 3 months. We don't have any specific issues but like to have them out to spray at least quarterly. Mike usually does our spraying and is extremely professional and thorough. He answers all your questions and is very knowledgeable. I would ask for Mike to provide your service, but the entire team is great.
We recently received pest inspection and spray services from service tech, Kelsey. He was professional and really took the time to listen to our needs and take care of everything in a timely manner! We will be using Aardvark again and highly recommend!
Have had multiple experiences with Aardvark. Always feel like it was worth the money, that I understand better what's going on, and that things are completely taken care of. Definitely recommend!

Kelsey was on time and extremely kind when servicing our house. We were told by another company it would take over $20,000 to fix our problem and after his review he said it was not nearly that bad and he removed all droppings, disinfected, and sealed off all entries. He was nice to all our family members when in and out of the house including our toddler and puppy. Highly recommend this company for any pest and rodent needs!

Installed a Radon Mitigation system in a home i purchased. Because of their poor workmanship in re sealing my sump pit, my sump pump was not able to function properly, causing my basement to flood. Refused to take responsibility for their mistake.

I do not know why the pump did not work, and caused the basement to get wet. I was not given the luxury of checking it out for myself when the problem occurred. It is possible that the water was rushing into the pit at such a fast rate (we had an extremely large amount of rain in a very short period of time) it either moved the float, and or the softener drain line out of place, and caused them to get hung up on each other. Another question would be why did the back up pump not kick in, and function if the main pump did not? Also please see the signed off attached bid. As well as I do not show you as the client, I show a Abby ******. We have installed hundreds of systems with no issues.
I would avoid this company at all cost. Our Inspector David Klima didn't get on our roof and turned out to be an issue with the roof that I am stuck paying for because the inspector came unprepared and was too lazy to go back and get a ladder big enough to get onto our roof. A friend recommended this company to me but due to the terrible experience I had, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. To the owner: First off talking to you clients like that review you just wrote is very off putting. Second off you weren't going to fix a thing when I called. You waited until my realtor got on you about it and I reported you to the BBB. Third off even if that's the reason for the dip the inspector didn't mention that was the case. I was there during the entire inspection and asked about the roof multiple times. I'm not an inspector so I wouldn't be able to make that correlation. Lastly the reason I assumed the inspectors name was David Kilma is because that's the name listed on the termite report that I currently have in hand. I find it funny the only good review you have is from someone who didn't leave any reason as to why he rated you so high. You may want to learn how to properly talk to customers. The fact that you told me on the phone you personally don't care if I recommend you to other people shows how you really care about clients who have paid you for your services. I'm not hoping for anything bad for your company but I do hope you learn how to control your temper and talk to people. There's plenty of other companies to go through that offer the same services as you. You might want to learn customer service asap pal.

First off-Your inspector was not David Klima it was Tom Peters.<br>Second- You found an issue with your shingle's that was not noted in the report. We sent out a contractor within one week later and replaced half of the roofing shingle's on the rear of the roof at no charge to anyone.<br>Third- Your complain about the un-level roof decking on the back of the home was in your report, and even on the summary page.<br>This is an inaccurate review and I do not appreciate it.
Terrible job and possibly worse customer service. Avoid this company at all costs!

I had them come out to my rental property for pest control. When I spoke with them on the phone, they said they would do a follow up after the initial visit. I wish I was told that I was to call to schedule my follow up within 30 days. Now I am once again infested with ants :( While I respect their policy, exceptional customer service would have been a follow up call asking me how my pest problem was doing...because I am guessing that 'being the experts' they probably knew my ant problem would have away with just one visit. Competition is fierce and my suggestion was not received well so I felt I had to leave this review.
