We recently had Moxie do our attic choosing the larger package to make sure things were as clean as the inspector said the service would be. What a mistake...shortcuts were taken and did not get what the inspector said was going to happen. Oh we don't do that is what I was hearing from the guys doing the work. We were told all mouse feces and anything else would be vacuumed out. That did not happen they sprayed insulation over what they didn't vacuum out. Were told it would be cleaned and sterilized. That did not happen. Also told they would remove some spray foam insulation in the corners of the attic so that it could breathe. That did not happen. the inspector said we had moisture and it would help things breathe. Now what do we do? We have been calling for months and not getting a call back from their "leadership" to discuss missed steps and pricing. We have been duped into a service we did not get and are not getting any resolution from them.

The service is Horrible.They bring out more bugs and pest so that they can keep returning to get your money. They over charge you then tell you that the charge was for something else and the person that is supposed to come out don’t show sometimes or do half the job he is there to do.

Do not hire this company. it is a scam...after 3 treatments ive seen no reduction in bugs. had repeat visits without inprovements..when i called to cancel, i recieved a charge on my credit card for the unused treatments..i will be filing a complaint with the statea attorny and the bbc for fraudulant practices.

Wouldn’t recommend! Sales guy came out to give us a free attic inspection and told us we needed new insulation costing 13K. I asked for pictures and a written estimate and never received any info! They also have come out to do the regular service and never shows up!

Big scam company don’t make agreements with this company they charge whatever they want and service nothing. Just they apply water for treatment. If you make complaints about this service then they send agreement then charge 80% percent remaining balance. Scam,scam , scam , scam. I attached my cancellation receipt without any service.

Do not recommend. We caught them in a clear lie trying to get tens of thousands of dollars from us. They gave us a “free attic inspection” and told us we had a severe rat infestation. We needed a whole attic clean out and all new insulation. Quoted us over $12k. We decided to get a second opinion and nothing could’ve been farther from the truth. There was no sign of any mice or rats ever being in our attic. No droppings, no nests in the insulation. Everything was fine. These people lie. Be careful.

Poor quality. Salesperson failed to mention state law doesn’t allow them to use spray higher than 3 feet from the foundation. If you’re hoping for a solution to fall box elder or stink bugs, this isn’t it! Rip off!!! The only reason they have so many positive reviews is because they guilt you into writing one of the actual service person won’t get a deserved tip. Very misleading business practices!

Watch out for deceptive sales practices! Was told I would receive 3 treatments for a given amount, turns out it was per treatment. No mention of a 12 month service agreement or early termination fee of said agreement. The sales guy that came to my door was real smooth and only mentioned the good stuff and conveniently left out the bad. Customer service, while nice, was less than accommodating in cancelling the service without the ridiculous fees.

I was approached by a door-to-door salesperson from Moxie Pest Control today, on Memorial Day, no less. It felt inappropriate for a company to send employees out to canvass on a national holiday typically reserved for rest and remembrance. The representative even mentioned that a crew was working in the neighborhood, which made me question the company’s priorities and values when it comes to employee well-being. The sales pitch itself didn’t inspire much confidence. It leaned heavily on low pricing and convenience rather than communicating the actual value or effectiveness of the service. Personally, I’m more interested in understanding the quality and long-term performance of a product, not just how cheaply it can be offered. When I mentioned that I already use a pest control service, the representative seemed more focused on extracting the name of my provider than explaining what made Moxie different or better. That approach felt intrusive and missed the opportunity to highlight the company’s strengths. Once I explained it was a family friend, they didn't have any follow ups. To top it off, the conversation opened with an odd anecdote about a neighbor allegedly killing a grizzly bear, not exactly a compelling or relevant introduction for a professional service. Having experience in door-to-door sales myself, I know there are more effective and respectful ways to connect with potential customers. This interaction didn’t reflect well on the company or its communication strategy.

I think they have done a terrible job during my one year contract. The main reason I went with them left me with empty promises and then my last appointment they say they can't make it can't wait to not have to waste money with a crooked company
