Lawn Doctor have been an excellent lawn care service. They transformed our yard from a weed invested, dying lawn to a lush lawn today. They have been very responsive to any request we have made and actually retreated in times of need outside the scheduled service times. I highly recommend them.

After living here in Georgia for over 20 years, we finally found a lawn service that does what it claims. Ever since we brought the Doctor to our lawn, we have had nothing but gorgeous yard to look at. Thank you Lawn Doctor and keep up the great work.

My technician came out this morning following my concern over lawn service and was courteous, professional and apologetic. I would give him 5 stars but the customer service received by the office personnel almost cost them a client.

For years used them because neighbors yard looked good same tech came etc. then he left or promoted and new tech came and can change so not always same tech and spraying not as good as before. Have to call to come retreat areas more or spot spray weeds that won’t die from reg. truck spray. Also stopped calling before treatments and just show up so gate is locked and if not home like today they only spray half the lawn. They used to be good about calling not sure where the disconnect is. Decided to move on to another company.

I have the best green lawn on the block! Great communication ad service. Rear yard was horrible with weeds across the entire middle of the lawn. I added some Total Landscape compost and let Lawn Doctor do the rest and it came back together nicely.

Excellent service

We started using Lawn Doctor a year ago, and have been very satisfied with the results. Previous lawn service was unreliable in terms of when they would come out, and we continued to have a lot of weeds. Lawn Doctor has been reliable and the lawn looks much better. Lawn Doctor also did an additional service this year to treat against Japanese beetles (that previously destroyed our roses), and thus far this treatment seems to be very effective!

My lawn looked great the first year I used them. Just needed regular weed control, and they were affordable so I went with them. After my late summer application in 2024, 90% of my back yard was dead within days, and there were uniform and defined spray lines where herbicide was applied. I am a reasonable person who manages a company in the home services industry where I hire and manage people to work in and around people’s homes, so I understand mistakes happen. I emailed in and asked for a manager to come out and evaluate the issue and Shawn came out. He told me that it was army worm, or maybe heat drought. It was pretty clear that he was looking for anything to blame besides the application. When I questioned him about the product they used and the labeling restrictions of not applying said product in 90+ degree temperatures, he refused to acknowledge that could have been the cause. The perimeter grass was still perfectly healthy at this point, and weeds were still growing in the green areas around the perimeter where the technician obviously did not treat. After another manager from the branch called me to follow up, I asked him to go out for a site visit and call me before doing anything corrective to let me know what the problem was. On the day he came out, he never called me but my wife called me to say that he was in the backyard putting something down. I spoke to him the next day and he doubled down that it was army worm and would be dead for a while, but should come back green in the spring. He also denied liability and would not accept any fault or offer any reasonable explanation. I contacted department of ag and a field agent came and confirmed that the damage was not army worm or heat stress, and also issued violations to the company for incorrect documentation of their applications and failure to provide accurate treatment records from service. During the next several weeks and throughout the winter, I’ve watched new patches of a different species of grass growing in the exact same areas where the manager was in my yard putting something down, and the new grass is obviously different than what has been there for the 3 years prior to the incident. I suspect that they knew they killed my yard and seeded with a wild Bermuda grass to cover their tracks. I had the property evaluated by a couple of my colleagues who work directly with landscape and ornamental vendors, as well as the department of ag handling lawn claims in Florida. Both confirmed this was textbook herbicide damage, yet I could never get Lawn Doctor to own up to their mistakes. As I said before, accidents happen in this industry, sometimes people make bad hires and all technicians can make mistakes. What makes a company worthy of doing business with is honesty and integrity, but unfortunately this company fails at both.

They always come on time for weed control, but the weeds keep growing in my backyard. Very poor quality service!

Ever since using Lawn Doctor, our lawn has done well. There is always the same people there to answer the phone with my questions and if weeds ever did pop up, they are quick to get back out and get it taken care of. Prices are fair and techs are super professional and knowledgeable! Trust me go with Lawn Doctor!!

We had chemlawn before and they were constantly calling us to sell us other options. Lawn doctor does a better job. Arrive when they say and they always call before they come. Are lawns look fantastic!!! I highly recommend them. Donna Hamilton

The representative was punctual and on time. However, the chemicals they used to kill the weeds in my yard did not work. I will admit I did not follow up with Long doctor and let them know however, the representative who was spraying my yard should have noticed the weeds in the front.

I signed up for a yearly contract. But as it turned out they just took my money and deducted full fee each time they come out. Also, they came out an extra 2 times on there own just to charge me more money.

They did not spend enough time at the house to do a quality job and did not follow up to inquiries.

Did not seem interested in doing my yard. Talked about everything wrong with it instead of helping.

The above questions do not address my concern. I had to answer - I would say poor quality if weeds don't die. I contacted Lawn doctor to do my lawn. I expected someone to at least meet me before they started and explain what I am paying for. The people come out leave a flag in the yard and thats it. There is no contact and when the weeds don't die I wonder if my entire yard is being done. I have asked for them to let me know when they are going to be here, so I can make sure where they are spraying. I don't expect them to contact me every time but at least once. The weeds are not dying in the backyard or side yard.

I have used Lawn Doctor for a while and had decent results. Lately the weeds have been out of control and I had to call for several re treats. I just thought it was the extra rain we were getting. They called ahead and stated they would be there Friday to treat. Friday I was working from home and witnessed the man come in my back yard and just sprinkle some fertilizer around my patio area. He didnt go anywhere near the edges, middle, or back of my yard. The area near my house is Bermuda and the back is fescue. He then left my yard and never returned. After 10 minutes I went to see where he went and he was gone. I called the office to verify what was supposed to be done with my lawn that day, and Shawn confirmed by his description, the man who serviced my lawn didnt even do half the work. He called the technician to come back out and stated the man didn't see any weeds so he didn't spray my yard. That I would have to go out back and point out the weeds to the technician. I offered to take pictures of the multiple different types of weeds and mushrooms growing. When the technician showed back up he openly admitted almost as soon as I opened the door he didnt spray my yard. He stated he had a rough morning and thought he had broken his foot. He then pointed at his foot and gimped away to spray. (Mind you his first visit which was 20 minutes prior he was walking fine) I tried to call the office 3 or 4 times the rest of the day to speak with Shawn who I originally had spoken to, so I could report the resolution, and let him know his technician was possibly injured. I was finally able to get ahold of someone today. Shawn did make it right and removed my charge but I have since canceled my yard. I feel as though they lost my trust. I paid a decent amount every spray and am not sure I was ever getting the full service I paid for all this time.
