Marcella Torreslara Is wonderful! She took time on a Saturday morning to answer questions about our recent fumigation service and explained preventative measures to decrease future problems. She is kind, helpful and very professional. I am very grateful for her assistance and guidance.

I hired Terminix to do my termite fumigation [tenting] in Sarasota, and found out that Terminix doesn't actually do it themselves, they outsource it to this company The PEST Group. The whole process was a nightmare -- I do not recommend either company at all. Communication with both companies is absolutely HORRIBLE. My tenting was scheduled for Friday. The PEST crew showed up hours after the Terminix rep told me they would. They also arrived with only enough materials to tent 1 structure, even though they were scheduled to tent 2 structures. I found out this was an error on behalf of PEST. The PEST manager Marcela apologized and told me she would call me the following week to reschedule. But I had already fully prepped my house as instructed and moved my dog and myself out of my house, and told her it needed to be done as scheduled. After many phone calls, she was able to reschedule me for the following day, which I appreciated. The PEST crew told me they wouldn't have been able to tent my property that day anyway, because they said my deck boards needed to be torn up in order for the tent to be secured. My Terminix sales rep Ryan had neglected to tell me this important information. Extremely frustrated, my boyfriend and I spent a few hours trying to remove the boards unsuccessfully. Ryan told me he and the PEST crew would remove the boards Saturday morning before tenting. The property was tented on Saturday. It was a holiday weekend, so I was allowed back in the property Tuesday night. I came home to find a huge section of my front fence had been removed..without my knowledge. There were also huge piles of hardened sand on my deck boards. And it was left that way. Completely unacceptable. The huge lift/crane sat in front of my house for an extra week after the tent came down, which was annoying. Then, yesterday morning -- 2 and a half weeks after my tenting was completed -- I opened my front door to find a huge lift/crane had been dropped off in my driveway without notice. It completely blocked my car, so I had to uber to an appointment and had to find a ride all the way to St Pete last night because my car was stuck in my driveway. I called Terminix, PEST, and even Sunbelt Rentals (the crane company) and spent over 2 hours of my workday on phone calls trying to get the crane removed. I was told that PEST had to order it to be removed. I called and left multiple messages for PEST, and didn't hear back from them. The crane was parked in my driveway for nearly 24 hours. It was finally removed a few hours ago, but I still haven't received a call from PEST to apologize for this error and inconvenience. It also shouldn't have been parked on my driveway at all, because the weight of it can damage the pavers. Horrible communication and very unprofessional. Zero accountability. Do not spend your money on services from these two companies -- you will regret it!

Tech did not call prior to showing up as I was told they would and then lied about it when questioned. I came home to items moved that shouldn’t have been such as a throw blanket wadded up on my couch and kitchen rug folded over on itself. Tech also stole a candle and lighter. Still going through my home to see if anything else was taken. I feel extremely violated and taken advantage of. Will definitely tell everyone I know to steer clear of this company and it’s “services”.

Not a serious company.

They didn't show up on the day they were supposed to come. I had already rented a hotel room for two nights then they came late on the second day tented it but didn't put in the gas. So that cost me another night. Not including all the extra food. I'm a disabled veteran with leukemia and COPD. I'm 69 years old. And I feel like they completely took advantage of me. They charged me $2,000. Even though the contractor told me that he would reimburse me for two nights that I spent at the hotel. Didn't even get a text or phone call. I went to Terminix cuz I thought they were a highly professional company and I found out they do nothing but sub it out to these Fly by Night guys. I would never recommend termanex again. I was so disappointed. Terminix guy came out to talk to me told me he would talk to his manager about compensation. But I haven't heard back. Do not use Terminix they are not a name brand company they just sub it all out. They're guarantees mean

They have left broken fans for over a month,left my blinds open for everyone to see into my home,broke my antenna,did not return my phone call ! I still have a termite problem after they tented my home. I do not recommend this company or Terminex

This company was supposed to show up for tenting on a Friday. After completely vacating the house, and finding lodging for the weekend they no call no showed! Then they said they would do the tenting Monday or Tuesday And offered to cover the additional housing expense of $700. Jeff, assured us the check would be sent. After months of waiting, calling and texting they still haven’t gotten back to us or sent the check. What a scam of a company. Jeff, we hate leaving bad reviews, so please return our calls and remedy this issue.

Left tons of trash - enough my neighbors called and I had to go over and pick up a bag of trash- broke 2 sprinkler heads - broke some lawn furniture- left duct tape all over in random places - won’t not use them - they are a sub contractor for Terminix My husband called to speak with someone - it’s been a week no call back.
