If you are experiencing a "squirrel problem" look no further. We heard the cute little devils running about over our ceiling. We phoned Blackthumb Services and Sarah (my wife and I call her "Squirrel Lady" or "SL") promptly showed up. Trust me: SL has forgotten more about squirrels than you will ever know. She can read their minds. She came countless times to the house, she saw, she conquered. Problem solved, including sealing the entrance and exit hole near the soffit. Worth every dime of expense.

We had squirrels in our walls and they did a fantastic job of coming out regularly for a few weeks for removal and trapping. They also took the time to close all the openings and answer all of our questions. Thank you Blackthumb Services!

I had a yellow jacket nest on side of house. They charged me $75 to look at it and tell me it was yellow jackets, which I already knew. Then they gave me as estimate to remove of $1,200. I shopped around a little and got a pest control company to remove for $199 and no fee for estimate. That was one-sixth the cost of Blackthumb. These guys were prompt and nice, but something obviously very wrong with their pricing. Would not recommend. Wasted $75. In response to the below, I never said I didn't agree to the $75 inspection fee. However, the "inspection" consisted of the tech looking at it and saying, yes, it was a yellow jacket nest. It took maybe five minutes with us talking about it most of the time. And I did reach out to the tech after I got the estimate and said "wow" I think I'll get some other estimates. It should be noted that when I originally called and inquired about the yellow jacket nest removal, there was no mention whatsoever about the below description of the type of removal nor any mention that due to this type of removal the costs would far exceed what a traditional pest control company would cost. If there had been any mention of this I would have thanked them and then sought a traditional pest control company. I was not informed of this until after the $75 "inspection" fee. I was referred to them, and prompted my call to them. I was not trying to "save" the yellow jackets, which is evidently what they do, but just to get rid of them. Better communication would have prevented this waste of time and money.

Had a snake problem in my house, I called them up and had a guy over in less than an hour. I'm not located in Tallahassee so the fact he was willing to come out so far was stellar. Wish I could rate 6 stars. Totally professional, and really friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

I was having a real problem with critters coming at night and knocking down my bird feeders, to get to the seed and nuts. So I started bringing the feeders in at night, but they still came to scarf up the seed that had dropped on the ground. So I hired Black Thumb to take care of the problem. They were very professional, friendly and certainly knew what they were doing. They reset the traps every other day but would come and pick up an animal the same day if it were in a trap. We caught a critter (or two or three) every night for about two weeks, then the traffic seem to taper off, until the 4th week, when the traps remained empty. So I was very satisfied with their serv ice and really feel as though I got what I paid for. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a similar problem.

This company is wonderful to work with. I called about a dead animal smell in the wall of our rental house and they responded extremely quickly to inspect the problem. Luckily, no animal was the cause, dead or alive, but the response was quick and communication was excellent in determining the cause. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs this service. Very professional and efficient.
