I recently had Precision Pest Defense come out for a preventative pest control treatment inside and outside of my home in Punta Gorda and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The technician was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the entire pest control process in detail. Instead of just spraying and leaving, he walked me through what pests are common in Florida, where they typically enter homes, and exactly what areas he was treating around the property. I really appreciated how thorough and educational the service was. The preventative pest treatment itself was very detailed. They carefully treated the exterior perimeter of the home as well as key areas inside to help stop pests before they ever become a problem. Living in Florida, having reliable pest protection is incredibly important, and this company clearly knows what they are doing. One thing that really stood out is that Precision Pest Defense stands behind their service. They explained that if I have any pest issues before my next scheduled treatment, they will come back out and address it, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I also liked that they offer flexible treatment schedules depending on your needs, including options such as quarterly pest control services or more frequent treatments like every two weeks. It’s great to have choices depending on the level of protection you want. On top of everything, the customer service was excellent. The technician was friendly, respectful of the home, and clearly cared about doing the job right. If you’re looking for reliable pest control in Port Charlotte, Florida, I highly recommend Precision Pest Defense. Their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail really set them apart from other pest control companies in the area. Five stars and I will definitely continue using them for my pest control services!

We have used Precision for a few years now. We signed up right after Ian because we realized we had a rat problem. They were able to get rid of the rats in a very short time frame and we never seen them again. They also come out and spray the perimeter of our house and keep the palmetto bugs and ants at bay. They always come every week and the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Chris Gage the owner is a pleasure to work with and has helped answer all of my questions. Highly recommended. Take your business elsewhere to a company that will treat you with respect and professionalism! I am extremely disappointed by the way Chris, the owner of Precision Pest Control, handled a simple request today. As a paying customer with an active contract, I called to ask if same-day service was possible — something they were happy to offer when we first signed up. From the start, he had an attitude and bluntly said, “Well that’s just not gonna happen. We’re already booked.” He offered Monday, and when I explained that Monday wouldn’t work due to my job, instead of asking what day would work, he immediately said, “OK, we’ll just cancel your contract,” and hung up on me. Who does that to a paying customer on a contract?? Are you having a bad day? Hanging up on a customer and threatening to cancel a contract simply because one suggested date doesn’t work is completely unprofessional. They were quick to take payment when we signed up, but follow-up service and basic respect have been terrible. Very disappointing experience.

After reviewing the phone call, the customer requested a call back, which we attempted to schedule for the next business day. Unfortunately, that timeframe was not acceptable, and the customer requested same-day service.<br><br>As this occurred on a Friday and all of our technicians were fully booked, we were unable to accommodate a same-day appointment. We did offer the soonest available time; however, this was declined.<br><br>At that point, the conversation became unproductive, as the customer became increasingly argumentative and demanding, stating that next-business-day service was not sufficient. Althought first service went great and it did work. When calling a second time to schedule, there was no flexibility for the person on the phone to schedule for a different date and just said they would close out the account and hung up.

Best Company Ever!! I have tried several companies in Fl, from the Keys to here in my home in North Port. Unfortunately my past companies did not live up to expectation. Service and product never seemed to work, had times they didn’t come at all, and even billed when they were not at my property. IT’S NIGHT AND DAY NOW Precision Pest is effective and responsive to all my needs. They are on time, respectful, and get the job done. Each person that has been here has always gone the extra mile. They tell me if I need something extra and give helpful tips on any issue that arises. They have even recommended another company for a problem that is not in their wheelhouse. Shocked is an understatement. I have a case of very bad red ants at my home. Hired this company to come out and spray when a previous company I had hired the bait they used didn't seem to do much. I spoke to whom I believe was the owner on the phone very nice and polite and he said he would try to make it to the house to spray that day on Monday but if not he would be there on Tuesday. I contacted him on Wednesday to check the status and he stated he still hasn't been there but he would be there that day and that he would call once he completed the spraying of the yard. I heard nothing from him and only knew he was done via ring camera. Fast forward to today December 24th. We stopped at the house to move more stuff in and see huge mounds of red ants all by the side patio door literally had a walking trail going into our home. I am severely allergic to them to where I need an epi pen if I get bit. So without thinking I sent a text asking if they had any suggestions at all to at least keep them out of my house until someone could come out. That is all I was looking for was suggestions as I was panicking. I was not expecting any one to come out to my house on Christmas eve or day. I got a reply back sorry we are closed Christmas eve and day and I knew it wasn't an automated response due to the typos. I thought...wow ok then.. nevermind thanks. You could take the time to type that out but not even give me any type of guidance or suggestions on how to keep them out of my home. Then my phone rings. All I hear is how can I help you? I just replied nm as I now felt like a total bother and that is not what I was trying to be. All I asked for was suggestions that was it. I do apologize for texting them on Christmas eve, I wasn't thinking I just panicked when I seen the ants parading into my home but I also wasn't expecting the rudeness. As I said I was just looking for suggestions/ advice on how to keep the red ants from entering my home as soon as we noticed they were coming inside. I never once said I was dissatisfied with the service, I was just floored on the rudeness. I just wanted to know how to keep them from entering my home as I am highly allergic to the bites. I was never told how long it was going to take for the treatment to work as there was absolutely no communication after treatment was done but to leave a review. I certainly didn't think the ants would be trying to enter my home after treatment, had I been told that maybe I wouldn't of been so shocked.

We’d like to clarify a few important details for transparency.<br><br>You contacted us just over a week ago after expressing dissatisfaction with your previous pest control provider and requested that we take over service. The service was scheduled and completed immediately on Wednesday, December 17th, exactly one week prior to this review. You were notified via text upon completion of the service, as well as with a follow-up text the next morning. Our system confirms that notifications were sent on December 17th at 6:06 PM and December 18th at 9:09 AM. Therefore, the statement that you were not notified of the service being performed is inaccurate. It is also important to note that per our original conversation, we did make mention that the week before Christmas, our schedules are very full but we would go above and beyond to get you squeezed into our very busy schedule as soon as possible.<br><br>At the time of service, it was also clearly explained that the initial treatment requires 2–3 weeks to fully cycle, and that we ask customers to provide updates every few weeks until activity is completely resolved.<br><br>Regarding the response on Christmas Eve, there was no rude communication. A courteous message was sent advising that our office was closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas, with normal operations resuming on Friday. The exact response provided was:<br>“Our office is closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Please call on Friday. Thank you and Merry Christmas.”<br><br>Unfortunately, the service was canceled before allowing sufficient time for the treatment to take full effect, as previously discussed.<br><br>We stand by the quality of our service, our communication, and our professional standards. I do not recommend this service. I was given conflicting info and when asked for clarification was treated disrespectfully. I cancelled.

I scheduled a treatment on my new home in Gulf Cove. He never showed. I rescheduled. He never showed. Then I talked to him on the phone and he was like. Ok I can get out there Monday. No thanks

This is my second review of this company, as my first review mysteriously disappeared after the owner responded. This pest control company did not promptly respond to my calls, I had to call numerous times before getting a response, the owner Chris frequently showed up later than the scheduled time, never offered an apology, and after months of service he could not fix my ant problem I didn't get the 5-star service that 100% of the other reviewers received.
