When I discovered my mistake and called On demand Pest Control and asked them to give me a grace period since I just had my house done. They refused and said it was out of their hands that I was under contract and I had to pay to have the treatment done anyway. Cancer is extremely expensive and my funds are very limited. An appointment was scheduled for between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. I told the appointment setter that the technican would need to arrive by 9:00 because I would need to leave for work. No one showed up by 9:00 and no one called, so I left for work. At 9:09 the entrance gate called saying the technican was there. It was too late as I was already in my way to work.
