District wildlife is the way to go. I interviewed two other companies and I just was not comfortable with them on their knowledge, experience, follow through and presentation. I found District wildlife employees Brandon and Matt are The consummate professionals who are competent experienced and effective and also reliable. They show up within the promised time range and will follow up. I value that! I also really appreciate District Wildlife's flat fee structure and their followed through each time to solve my wildlife problem with squirrel infestation. I highly recommend them. I have called upon District Wildlife Solutions twice - last year and this year. Last year was quite a job - removing birds from a second floor vent. This was done efficiently and humanely. The man who did the work was very nice & clearly experienced. This year - a smaller job but, again, everyone that I dealt with was pleasant, efficient and helpful; I highly recommend.

Matt was extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to humanely removing a raccoon family from our attic (plus he came out to our house within only a couple hours of us calling & the service was very affordable). Called and emailed District Wildlife after hours on a Wednesday night after we heard a critter stuck in our wall. Kayla responded promptly at 8 am the next day with a phone call and email. I had included a video in my email. Kayla said it sounded like a bird stuck in the wall. Mind blown! She dispatched Brandon and he arrived at our house at Noon. He quickly freed the bird from the wall and put the dry wall back in place. And did an inspection of our roof and where it might have gotten in. Brandon was terrific. This is a great company. From the time I called/emailed till the bird being free was 16 hours. And the price was very reasonable. And the bird is now living its best life. Highly recommend!!

Without a doubt, they provided great service and trapped that pesky Raccoon on the first night! Brandon and his team has been awesome. Of course, I asked a million questions daily. I heard horrors stories about the fees. However, District Wildlife charges a flat fee and will check traps daily! While other companies are on a money grab, they provide affordable quality service! If you are considering them! Look no further!

Brandon has years of experience and knowledge that will save you time, money, and frustration. If you have problems with rats, squirrels, raccoons, bats, or any critter in your house call him. Particular to DC, if you have rats in your house he has seen multiple times where there is a sewer line that is uncapped and simply welcomes rats into DC homes straight from the sewer. If you are having plumbing work done, call them to be sure the job is finished right. They will also help you seal up the house to prevent new infestations.

I can't speak highly enough of District Wildlife Solutions. It was clear that a raccoon had invaded my attic and then I started hearing chittering of baby raccoons in my walls. I called District Wildlife Solutions and they sent someone out on a Tuesday and by Wednesday the mama raccoon and the baby raccoons were humanely trapped and out of my home. Great customer service and extremely effective.

Scheduled my appointment with Kayla on a Friday after contacting this business to inquire about services to remove birds that were flying to my gutter. Matt came out that Monday on time and immediately began the work. He assessed my home, took pictures, and immediately rectified the issue by cleaning the leaves and debris from my gutter and making a repair to the damage caused by squirrels (not birds), which I learned. Matt was friendly and professional and explained everything he was doing and needed to do to repair my gutter. At the end, the repair was done well and within a reasonably short amount of time. I’m so satisfied! Thanks so much Matt for all of your help!

HAVE DC RATS IN YOUR WALLS?! We did, too. We could hear them scratching away in our walls. It's repulsive, annoying, rancid, and just not okay. But where do you even begin?! After tons of research and conversations, I finally had a better understanding of what the process of removing rats from walls entailed. This seemed cumbersome, time consuming, and expensive but alas it needed to be done. With the understanding of what needed to be done, I went through several companies asking about their process to removing rats from the walls. The majority talked about repellants and traps as the solution which I've learned do NOT work. When I called District Wildlife Solutions, they were the only company to give me a comprehensive plan that included finding the entry point for the rodents, addressing the entry points, then finally removing the rats in the walls. Furthermore, the estimate was very reasonable with a best case and worst case range both being very reasonable. The day of the appointment, Brandon inspected the exterior and no obvious entry points were identified, which meant we had to try to find the entry point from within. After communicating his plan he asked if he could open a hole in the wall to take a look and we agreed. Within the next 30 min - 1 hour, Brandon identified the entry point, sealed the entry point, and set traps to catch any rodents remaining in the walls. Oh and I paid the best case scenario mentioned above. It's been two weeks, the sounds of scratching in the walls have completely ceased. My wife and I are thrilled. Brandon and DWS are an honest company with the experience needed to address the solution. Most importantly, they care. He was prompt, communicative, inexpensive, and thorough. Quite simply, they get it done. If you're unsure if you want to take the step to remove rats from the walls as it seems daunting and expensive, don't even hesitate. You've found your team. I can't thank them enough.

Very happy with this company! Fair pricing with no hidden charges! Kayla in the office, Matt and Branden in the field were great help removing raccoons from our backyard, 12 of them to be exact! I would not hesitate to call them again if needed their help.

I cannot say enough about the company. They were phenomenal!! Very responsive, on time and most importantly they have reasonable prices. If you have any pest removal needs/concerns give them a call asap. There are so many companies out there that may seem to be "exceptional" but they will not be at your expectations of District Wildlife. Thank you for everything!!

I 100% recommend this company. I had a family of raccoons in my attic that were removed within a week. Amazing price and great customer service. They keep their promise on checking up on the traps everyday Monday- Friday. Make your appointment!

Had a groundhog, still have a groundhog. I knew there were no guarantees, and price wasn't bad. But paid for 5 days of trapping, and traps were in place for 3.5 days. And then they were gone, no recommendations or other ideas.

There are not enough adjectives to express how wonderful this company is. From my initial frantic phone call about squirrels in my house (not really in, though) to the final removal of my furry, unwanted house guests, DWS was professional, humane and reasonably priced. I was sure the squirrels were trying to "get me"; however, Kayla assured me they only wanted a nice warm, dry place to stay. Brandon set the traps and came everyday to carefully remove each squirrel. Once they were all removed, they were released together as a family far, FAR away from this squatting experience. Finally, DWS made repairs to the squirrels' unlawful entry point and now I sleep peacefully thru the night with no scratching noises above my head or in the walls. I don't want to ever need them for any type of pest control, but I now know that I have someone to call, if I do.Thank you, thank you and thanks again to my new family because they are forever a part of my life!!! I highly recommend.

Brandon is a total mouse whisperer who goes above and beyond to figure out where the mice are coming from, and how you can effectively (and permanently!) seal your house so they can't get it. We had literally gone through three different services and hundreds of dollars in mice traps, poison, etc. NOTHING worked, until District Wildlife sent Brandon out, and he actually figured out the source and path they were using. It's like watching a magician crawl around you house to figure out source of the problem. Would 1000% use them again (though I sincerely hope I never have to again :P).

Brandon solved my pest problem in a matter of minutes after I spent nearly 2 years and a lot of money with other pest companies. The other companies never got to the root of the issue. They were AMAZING! We had a raccoon inside of our roof. We called them and it was caught the next day. They even sealed the entrance for us so no other animal could get in. Brandon and the team were so knowledgeable and professional. They helped us so much and it was definitely money well spent. If you need an animal to be removed I highly recommend them!!! 100%

Can't begin to express our appreciation for Brandon and District Wildlife Solutions. After a full day of trying to get someone to come and rescue whatever was stuck inside our wall, called District Wildlife Solutions and within 30 minutes Brandon was ringing our doorbell. We were frazzled, but he had a charming, calming attitude that immediately put us at ease. By the time he left, he'd saved two very weak baby squirrels and assured us he'd make sure they got back on their feet. A true friend of animals and an honest to God squirrel hero!

Last week during the morning hours, I walked out of my basement door to the lower patio (beneath the deck) and hanging above the exterior basement door frame was....(I can't bring myself to say or type it)...was a "5-letter word that rhymes with 'rake'." A very LARGE "5-letter word that rhymes with 'rake,'" at that! Once I made it back inside of the house (and locked all of the doors and closed all of the blinds), I did a google search for "5-letter word that rhymes with 'rake'" removal companies. The first wildlife removal company that I found stated they'd arrive at my home within 90 minutes, with a $429.00 removal charge. When the 90 minutes were up, a company representative called me back and stated that they didn't have any specialists that could respond, and I'm so glad that they didn't.... My next google search led me to District Wildlife Solutions. They were (and still are) God sent! I called and spoke with Kayla- I explained my issue to her (and vented about a few other related/unrelated issues). Kayla was so polite, patient and professional, and even offered some personal words of encouragement. Brandon responded to my home in the stated time and arrived within 20 minutes! Not only did Brandon swiftly capture the photographed beast from my backyard, he answered many other questions I had about pest proofing my home and made recommendations (also confirming some suspicions I had about bat roosting). I'm very impressed with the quality of customer service and knowledge that Kayla and Brandon exhibited. District Wildlife Solutions is a FIVE STAR company and I've even scheduled for Brandon to return to my home to complete his recommendations (and not until after then will I ever step foot in my backyard again!).
