Dec. 9, 2025 Jorge Garcia Chavez applied the treatment. Jorge does an excellent job and is ready for the corporate suite of offices, corner office of the top floor. Nice job, Jorge. Good communicator, interacted with my wife and went above and beyond the customer service. Now, with respect to Lawns Unlimited, on at least 2 occasions, Lawns Unlimited did NOT follow up with potential new business prospects and contact , not one, but, two of my friends. Shame on Corporate !!!

The irrigation well installed by Lawns Unlimited six years ago was contaminated with salt water. This serious failure led to years of compounding and expensive issues for me. I had to replace my well pump once and continuously replace numerous valuable landscaping plantings because they were repeatedly killed by the salt water. The contamination was only discovered after these significant and recurring losses. When I spoke with the owner about the salt contamination, he was very apologetic and offered to correct the problem free of charge. I spent months attempting to schedule this corrective work, only to be repeatedly strung along. He misinformed me that the delay was due to waiting on a well permit from the state. I followed up with the permit department and discovered the truth: Lawns Unlimited had never even submitted the permit application. The Final Insult: When the work was finally scheduled, I received an invoice the day before the service was to begin, asking for thousands of dollars for the repair—a sharp reversal of the owner's original promise of a free fix. When I called thinking a mistake had been made, he essentially admitted he was reneging on his word because he decided the job was "too much work." Resolution Found Elsewhere: I called a different local company that same day, and they resolved the issue quickly for less than the amount Lawns Unlimited suddenly invoiced.

Extremely poor customer service. I called for an estimate, and the woman that answered the phone was very professional and got me set up for an estimate rather quickly. Unfortunately, that was the only positive experience with this company. The manager no-showed the estimate; no phone call, no email, no reschedule. I called the business back the following day, got no answer, left a message, got no response. I repeated this process for the next two days; same result each time, no response. Apparently, this company is too busy for new customers. Found a different company that was actually responsive and went with them instead.

STAY AWAY!!! Worst service experience in any industry I have ever witnessed. You can never get a straight answer, they breach their own service contracts they have you sign for even a simple service, bill you for any amount without explanation, and then ignore you when you question it. Considering the numerous number of landscaping services providers there are in the area, take my advice and stay away for this business.

First let me say the work performed by the field staff was all it should be, easily 4 or 5 stars. The business manager however is one star if that. The manager, former owner, of this company has not kept his agreement. He was supposed to invoice for time and materials but his invoice, overpriced by any calculation, did not list time and materials. I kept track of time and materials on my own. We paid his invoice promptly, anyway. Later he tried to double bill us for the work a second time. He has made a mistake yet still send invoices which could damage our credit. Specifically we had one new zone added and about 50 new drip lines with heads added to our irrigation system. The job was done with 2 employees here on two days for a total of 9 hours with travel time ten minutes at most from their office yard, so to be generous round it up to 10 hours total work and travel, . The rate first quoted was $150 per hour, then Lawns Unlimited office upped their rate to $180 per hour for this service on a phone call. I priced the materials used on Amazon and they fall under $200. By my calculation the invoice total should have been $2,000 total. The invoice he sent me by email was for $2,500. I paid it anyway even though it was way inflated. And now he keeps sending me another such invoice in spite of calls and my canceled check given by hand to his company agent immediately upon completion. I suggest you use great caution dealing with this company, not for bad work, the guys are great and have served us well for fifteen years, but for the manager who does not return calls nor keep his word. Something is very wrong there. If you have time and materials invoicing suggested for your proposed work, get that in writing and in writing that the invoice will show time and materials. Plus keep your own records of time and materials. The demand for irrigation services is acute due to residential building growth in the area and complaints abound for the other couple of big competing irrigation companies, too so I can not recommend a different company. I suggest you look for ads in newspaper here from experienced guys offering private self-employed contract services for irrigation. It is not rocket science and you may do much better. Always check references.

Lawns Unlimited is VERY difficult to communicate with, and often makes mistakes in billing. Invoices DO NOT list the date nor the specific application(s) applied--just Pay! My contract for services was for my entire lawn on my property, but a portion --about 15% was overlooked and never treated. About 1/2 through the contract period--after discovering this error, I spoke directly to the Lawns Unlimited (LI) personnel doing the application. Thereafter, the mistake was corrected, but the cost remained the same! I sent a letter to the owner--no response; I sent a registered letter-[-the Saleman came to our home and I showed him billing errors and where the lawn wasn't treated for 1/2 the contract. He made copies of evertything and said he'd get back with me. Meanwhile, the next year's contract was about to be automatically initiated. I was advised by LI to send a letter to LI if I didn't want another year of service. I sent another registered letter. Weeks went by--still no response from the LI Salesman as promised--more weeks went by; bills kept being sent. I called & spoke to the LI Billing Department, who sent a notice to the owner AND the salesman that a reduction in the contract price was needed. No communication--more bills for the same price. What does it take to get this corrected? Beats me. So if you want hassle upon hassle,. and very inflated service costs compared to other local reputable lawn service companies, Lawns Unlimited is the company for you.

Thank you, Jane, for sharing your feedback. Our invoices list the application type on the left, with a description below. Initially, your invoices were emailed, providing the date and services. When you switched to paper invoicing, we started to mail them to you. Your account notes indicate the area to the left of your driveway needs treatment. The statement you received is for the fall core aeration and seeding performed on your entire property and we never received a letter stating you wanted to cancel you services. We did receive your letter about missing areas and Joe went out right away to address the situation. You can always call the office at 302.645.5296 to talk to some one in the office to go over you account.

These people clearly do not have their act together. Five phone calls over 3 weeks, and they still could not get me an estimate for lawn care. They say one thing, but do something different. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They clearly are too busy with existing customers I assume, to take on any new business. Don't bother with Lawns Unlimited, move on.

Horrible customer service. Among other work, two bushes were supposed to be trimmed at the front of the house but only one was done — see the pictures and decide for yourself whether they both looked trimmed. Upon calling, they sent out someone to check who looked at them both and concluded somehow that yes they were both trimmed and looked acceptable in their opinion. What a shame, some cheap customer service labor by cutting the 2nd shrub would have saved this yearly customer.

Lawns Unlimited can not be trusted to honor their signed contracts or the application rates or products they SAY has been applied to your yard. I had a signed contract with the owners signature to repair some sink holes in my yard. I signed the contract and sent a check for one half of the contract price in March 2017. When they came to do the job several months later the workers said the job was too big for the contract price and the owner said he would not honor his signed contract. I did not get my deposit back until late September, only after calling several times! This week (9/18/18) Lawns Unlimited applied their early fall application. On their bill they indicated they had applied 149.9 lbs Polyon and a 31.5 fluid oz of Battleship 111. I could find no evidence of the Polyon on my yard since it is a coated pellet. I called Lawns Unlimited a couple of times to discuss the application. When the agronomist returned my call he indicated they had changed their products and had not applied the Polyon or the amount of Battleship indicated on the bill. How can anyone trust anything they do or say????
