The customer service has been great. We have twice talked to a lady named Melissa and she has been fantastic to work with and is always willing to help.

Hoffmans treated a yellow jackets nest located under the eaves high on the back of our house above the corner of a deck area. They responded the day after my request which was appreciated. They quoted two prices based on the height of the ladder required to access the nest. After the technician surveyed the location, he quoted the higher price assuming use of a long ladder from the ground, which I agreed to. But then, the he proceeded to use a short ladder from the deck. I did not know this until after the treatment was done. The technician made no adjustment to the initially agreed higher price. The technician completed the treatment very quickly (less than 5 minutes). As I monitored the nest over the next couple of days, there were quite a few dead yellow jackets that fell to the patio below. However, a few survivors remained buzzing around the nest opening. Hoffman's service agreement advertised they would perform as many follow up visits within 30 days until the infestation was completely controlled. I called 4 days after the initial treatment and they came the same day. The technician for this visit was more thorough and deliberate making sure the insecticide got into the nest. Follow up monitoring has revealed no survivors a week after the initial treatment. Overall, I think Hoffmans was responsive and their treatments were effective in eradicating a large yellow jacket infestation. The only negative issue I have is how they quoted a higher price which I agreed to and then used a shorter ladder which should have resulted in a lower price.

Yes, even though havent found out anything of what it is yet, they took thier time, and took samples, and were very kind and empathetic.

They where able to provide service the day I called with a yellow jacket issue in my yard. I don't expect a business to respond the same day but I am happy they could fit us into the schedule. I did not meet the exterminator personally but I was told he was professional and polite. Thank you for your help and I plan to hire your company again in the future.

Called early Saturday morning with an issue with yellow jackets getting into my house. Got a quick call back and sent their exterminator Greg out within 2 hours. Greg was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took care of the situation immediately and stayed on site to make sure for a short period. Would highly recommend Hoffmans to everyone.

The tech applied treatment to the siding and in any gaps he saw. Unfortunetly this did not solve the yellow jacket problem. Partly my fault. I had stuck my head in the attic and did not see or hear any bees. I told the tech that I had done so and that I did not have bees in the house. After the first visit I went back to the master bathroom where we heard the bees at the start of all this. I found a soft spot in the ceiling (yellow jacket nest location). Told the tech after the second treatment. Said I'd call on the following Monday. Meanwhile I went online and bought Stryker 54. The next day I drilled several small holes in the soft spot and applied Stryker 54. Did the trick. I'll wait a few days to ensure all the bees are dead before beginning the process of removing the nest and cleaning up the soft spot and then wallboard repair. As of today 18 Aug 2024 I do not see any bees outside the house nor hear any in the ceiling of the master bath.

This company has really declined recently. Multiple missed appointments with no phone call, and no response to emails. Customer service did not even apologize for all of my wasted time. After many years we are looking for a new company. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Nice people, nice company, but they failed to help with my initial issue. I have chickens and with chickens comes all sorts of critters. When I called, the first person who came out was pretty confident he would help get rid of my rat problem. 1 year & ½ later I was the one who finally got rid of the rats. Hoffmans didn't really help. Was told on numerous occasions would get a refund of some sort. Nothing big but maybe something to compensate for what they promised. (That they'd get rid of the rats) I mean I told them on numerous occasions that I was doing the work and they agreed. I can't complain about the friendliness and kindness of them all, but ultimately I wasn't looking for friendships, I was looking to get my money's worth. I will say I did not have any issues with ants like I have had the previous years. Coincidence, maybe! I would recommend them for bug issues, but maybe not so much for rats. I mean in their defense the rats were living under a coop and it was hard to reach them, but again I did rid of them myself. Maybe you should've offered me a position. Not a bad company, just not confident in their rat promises.
